The Bona Dea Scandal and the Creation of a Lifelong Foe. Guest Author: Josiah Osgood. Despite his careful rise to power, Cicero made a significant error during the aftermath of the Catiline conspiracy. He arrested five high-ranking collaborators who had remained in Rome to facilitate a coup. Cicero, feeling invincible after his recent successes, pushed for these men to be executed as traitors to the republic. He argued that by conspiring against Rome, they had forfeited their rights as citizens and should be treated as public enemies. However, executing Roman citizens without a trial was a major legal taboo. Julius Caesar, then a rising politician, offered a more prudent alternative: life imprisonment. Cicero ignored this advice and moved forward with the executions, a decision that the Senate endorsed but for which Cicero bore ultimate responsibility. While he initially gloated about his actions, the move eventually aroused populist opposition and made him a political target. This mistake was followed by the Bona Dea scandal of 62 BCE, where Cicero testified against Publius Clodius Pulcher, breaking his alibi and turning the young aristocrat into a dangerous, lifelong enemy. 51910 CARTHAGE

Annie Sargent and Elyse Rivin dig into the life of Alexandre Dumas Père — and it's a wild ride. His grandmother was a slave. His father was the French army's first non-white general. Napoleon destroyed that father, and Dumas never forgot it. He wrote over 100 novels, went broke twice, helped unify Italy, and ran the museums of Naples — including Pompeii. Oh, and he wrote a cookbook. Elyse brings the research, Annie brings the questions, and together they make French history genuinely fun. Hit play. "Congress and the public deserve a clear answer about whether the Epstein Estate paid a settlement to an accuser who made serious allegations against Donald Trump, and who was interviewed four times by the FBI."On 24 February 2026, NPR reporter Stephen Fowler published an investigative report comparing the public database of Epstein files released by the DOJ on January 30th with the Ghislaine Maxwell trial evidence index (handed to her defense attorneys in 2021 as part of standard discovery procedures). The two documents do not match.According to the evidence index, the FBI conducted four interviews with a woman in 2019. These interviews produced four sets of written summaries, known as 302 reports, which should have all been included in the January 30th document release. Only one was included, in which she claimed she'd been assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein when she was just 13 years old. The other three were the ones in which this woman - known only as Jane Doe 4 - made credible accusations against the sitting President of the United States...This is a continuation of a series we started last year. Tom Cressman's brutal murder – beaten with a cricket bat by the ex-royal dresser to Sarah Ferguson, the ex-Dutchess of York – was a truly British tragedy.Jane Andrews's act of violence dominated the headlines in the UK, and for good reason. The obsessive social climber had spent a lifetime getting herself into rooms with some of the richest and most influential people in the country. All she had left to do was marry one of them, and she'd be set for life. But just when she was rubbing shoulders with the family of the soon-to-be-disgraced Prince Andrew, it all came tumbling down. --Patreon - Ad-free & Bonus EpisodesYouTube - Full-length Video EpisodesTikTok / Instagram

Gavin Newsom and his wife are currently under investigation by the Department of Justice in a serious state fund scandal. Allegedly, Newsom transferred millions to charities operated by his wife, creating an obvious conflict of interest and funding Left-wing organizations that keep the Newsoms in power. While Newsom claims the investigation by Trump's DOJ is law-fare, the real law-fare may have occurred during Joe Biden's presidency. “Now there's no cover, no exemption and now you're going to face scrutiny.”
“There has not been a bigger government scandal during my lifetime,” says Senator Ron Johnson, “and yet even now that we have documented proof of corruption, most of the legacy media refuses to report on it.” In the release of his new Senate report, Sen. Johnson says he found evidence that federal health officials knew about COVID-19 vaccine safety signals in 2021 but “purposely” hid them. Sen. Johnson, Chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, alleges that in March 2021, FDA officials were briefed that their VAERS analysis algorithm would mask vaccine adverse event signals. Twenty-six days later, an updated algorithm showed 25 safety signals, including sudden cardiac death, pulmonary infarction, and Bell's palsy. Johnson says officials ordered the analyst to “cease and desist” and told the public adverse events were “rare and mild.” Brianne Dressen, who recently met with Senator Johnson in DC, joins to discuss the severe symptoms she developed after being in one of the first US AstraZeneca trials in 2020. She is calling for a new investigation into the abandonment of the COVID-19 vaccine injured. Batya Ungar-Sargon, Newsweek opinion editor and host of “Batya!” on NewsNation, asks if going to war with Iran was worth it. Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert, author of “Therapy Nation”, argues America has grown over-reliant on therapy culture as mental health ratings hit record lows. Brianne Dressen is Co-founder of React19. Four hours. Zero punches pulled. The Marc Cox Morning Show delivers one of its most explosive broadcasts of the year and not a single story lands without consequence. Tucker Carlson torches his 35-year Republican career over an Israel obsession Marc Cox calls exactly what it is — anti-Semitism dressed up as principle. The Iran MOU critics are screaming into YouGov polls while a real American hero, former hostage Rocky Sickman, reminds everyone what 444 days of torture at Iranian hands actually looks like. Missouri conservatives get a masterclass on why Amendment 4 and Amendment 5 are the most important votes they'll cast this year — as Soros-funded groups, Planned Parenthood, and the Missouri Realtors Association pour millions into lies designed to keep the Constitution wide open for radical hijacking. Former Missouri Senator John Lamping joins to make the definitive case and call out conservatives sabotaging their own cause from within. The St. Louis Morning Brief covers a firefighter caught on camera doing the unthinkable at Lambert Airport, MLB's stunning double standard on Christian expression, and Pride Fest curfew chaos erupting in the Grove. Fox and Friends First co-anchor Todd Piro calls in live from a Fox News makeup room with the heartbreaking latest on the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping. It's 2A Tuesday with Mark Walters of Armed American Radio breaking down the Supreme Court's landmark nine to zero Hamani ruling, a Fifth Circuit victory for silencer owners, and the left's blueprint to destroy the Bruin precedent the moment they retake power. Kim St. Onge sounds the alarm on Brazilian parents jailed for homeschooling without DEI — and warns Christian families in America that they are already in the crosshairs. University of Minnesota law professor Ilan Wurman delivers a stunning constitutional autopsy — from New Deal power grabs to rogue district judges acting as an unchecked council of revision the Founders explicitly rejected. Ryan Wiggins brings the hard data showing Democrats hemorrhaging 275,000 voters in key swing districts, exposes the 2020 census miscounting that handed Democrats up to six stolen House seats, and dismantles the left's racist Electoral College argument for exactly what it is — pure desperation. And the show closes with three bombshells in rapid succession: $200 million laundered from USAID into Joe Biden's 2024 campaign, Fauci back in Rand Paul's crosshairs, and Chuck Schumer accidentally admitting 25 million people on Democrat voter rolls may not be legal citizens. This is the Marc Cox Morning Show — and today was one for the history books. "Zorro Ranch was probably the most eerie place, just giant and quiet and literally in the middle of nowhere. Miles and miles of just mountains and dirt."On the morning of 8 March 2026, a group of people gathered at a gate on a dirt road in the New Mexico desert, about 30 miles south of Santa Fe, in a place called Stanley. The gate leads to an extravagant property that sits on roughly 7600 acres of high desert scrubland. The nearest town is twenty miles away. If you screamed out here, no one would hear it.The property used to be called Zorro Ranch. It belongs to a Texas family now, who bought it in 2023 and renamed it San Rafael Ranch. Before that family attempted to rehabilitate the ranch into a Christian retreat, however, it belonged to Jeffrey Epstein...This is a continuation of a series we started last year. Ken and Lima dig into the Brendan Sorsby supplemental draft situation, with Ken arguing that the gambling violations have been wildly overstated, pointing out that most of the incidents occurred when Sorsby was a low-level freshman buried on Indiana's depth chart making three and four dollar bets. Ken pushes back on the "top five pick" narrative being used to hype his value, noting that draft analysts projected him as a Day 2 or even third-round pick in this year's draft. The guys also debate whether his age at the time of the violations matters, with Lima drawing the line at personal accountability regardless of when it happened. The Jets reportedly distancing themselves from Sorsby gets dismissed as classic liar's poker, with both hosts agreeing that desperate quarterback-needy teams are almost certainly still in play.
Ken and Lima continue debating Brendan Sorsby, with Ken growing more suspicious about the role Cincinnati played in leaking information, questioning why Sorsby's agent keeps throwing the Bearcats under the bus and whether the full story has actually come out yet. Lima pushes back on Ken's reluctance to pursue any quarterback solution, pointing out that Sorsby was the highest-paid transfer quarterback in the portal and that Texas Tech chose him over everyone else for a loaded roster. Ken's bigger concern is trust, arguing that no matter how small the bets were, something still doesn't add up and he can't get there on bringing Sorsby in. Notably, neither ex-teammates nor coaches from his past have come out with serious character concerns, which Lima sees as meaningful evidence that the Big 12 rival schools were simply motivated to bury him.
Look Forward breaks down the Iran deal in detail: the 14-point MOU signed June 18th that ends three months of war, reopens the Strait of Hormuz, and begins a 60-day countdown to a final nuclear agreement. Iran commits not to acquire nuclear weapons, halts enrichment, invites IAEA inspectors back, and the US immediately lifts oil export sanctions. What's NOT in it: ballistic missiles, proxy networks, final enrichment status, and critically Israel was shut out of negotiations entirely. This is a perfect storm of poor negotiation work and sheer incompetence which is why the right and left are pushing back hard on the proposed deal.Israel's reaction? Ben Gvir says Trump's agreement "does not bind us" and calls for "all of Lebanon to burn" a post restricted by X for violating platform rules. Netanyahu admitted he didn't even know the deal's details when it was signed. JD Vance fired back directly at Ben Gvir and Smotrich: "You can't just kill your way out of every national security problem." A rare moment of actual truth from Vance.Trump's $14.7 million Reflecting Pool renovation is already catastrophically failing. "American Flag Blue" paint peeling off in sheets after days, algae blooming green, visitors taking home chips as souvenirs. The DOJ ramps up de-naturalization targeting naturalized citizens — "do it the right way" is meaningless when you strip due process. Conservatives plan protests against data centers. The federal government bans Anthropic's latest Claude model, Mythos, immediately after release. RFK's vaccine rollbacks cause Lackland Air Force Base flu outbreak. Oklahoma voters reject minimum wage increase, and Trump's bedroom habits get exposed by the Daily Beast.Look Forward is a weekly progressive political podcast covering U.S. politics, government policy, Democratic strategy, elections, voting rights, Supreme Court rulings, and political news. Go check out our FREE Skool community, it's got amazing tools in there and a thriving community of cyclists - https://www.skool.com/roadman/aboutThe Tour de France wasn't born from pure sporting ambition. It began with a political scandal, a newspaper war, and a desperate attempt to sell more papers. In 1890s France, the Dreyfus Affair split the country in two, dragging even the cycling press into the fight. When powerful industrialists turned against pro-Dreyfus editor Pierre Giffard and his paper Le Vélo, they funded a rival: L'Auto. Struggling to survive, L'Auto launched a brutal race around France in 1903. In this episode of The Right Side, Doug Billings examines a horrifying scandal in Great Britain has shocked the world. But the real story isn't simply about evil people committing evil acts. The real story is about what happens when institutions lose the courage to tell the truth. How did police look away? How did politicians remain silent? How did social workers, bureaucrats, and entire institutions fail to protect innocent children? This story isn't really about Britain. It's about a lesson every nation must learn.Civilizations aren't judged by whether monsters exist. Monsters have always existed. Civilizations are judged by whether good people possess the courage to stop them.the devastating consequences of institutional cowardice, the collapse of trust, and why protecting children must always matter more than protecting organizations, narratives, or political agendas.Truth matters.Courage matters.Leadership matters. And the future of every civilization depends upon whether enough people are willing to defend the innocent before reality forces them to.We're in this together.Believe it.For the Republic!Cheers. #TheRightSide #DougBillings #TruthMatters #CourageMatters #ProtectTheInnocent #LeadershipMatters #WesternCivilization #InstitutionalFailure #FreeSpeech #HumanityIssue #Podcast #ConservativePodcast #NewsAnalysis #CommonSense #ForTheRepublic #fyp Support the show
Send us Fan MailWith Steven Spielberg's new film Disclosure dropping and President Trump's UAP files being declassified in real time, this felt like the moment I had to bring you this story. I brought on UAP documentary filmmaker Darcy Weir to break down something that's going to blow your mind — a massive grift happening in the UAP and paranormal world that operates eerily similar to Scientology, and once you hear the parallels, you will never look at these "disclosure" influencers the same way again. We get into Corey Goode, David Wilcock, and the Gaia show Cosmic Disclosure — the secret space program mythology they built, the lawsuits, the money, and a mysterious death that's sparked a whole new conspiracy of its own. I even tie it back to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and a cast member's own manifestation grift, so stick around for that twist. Then I'm getting into massive RHONJ tea — Milania Giudice has reportedly been sent somewhere very specific, and I'm telling you exactly what that means and why Bravo's version of events doesn't add up. I also have proof that someone very specific is still controlling her social media, and wait until you hear how I figured it out. Plus, there's a wild detail about what really happened the day the police were called that nobody's talking about, and a rumor about who might be stepping back from the show entirely this season. Then it's a full Summer House breakdown — the real reason behind West Wilson's alleged master plan to take over the show, what really went down between him, Amanda Batula, and the rest of the cast, plus Meija Moreno's side of the story that didn't make it to air and the explosive cut scene with Lindsay Hubbard that you need to hear to believe. On today's episode, Andy and DJ discuss President Trump roasting Joe Biden's mental decline at the G7 while criticizing the media's coverage, Britain's bombshell report on grooming gangs and what it means for the U.S., and Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway giving MLB until June 25 to confirm players won't be punished for refusing Pride gear or displaying Scripture.
What is Donald Trump good at? In his second administration, he promised lower prices, stronger manufacturing, and an end to foreign conflicts. Instead, inflation has risen, blue-collar job growth has slowed, and the U.S. finds itself involved in another war in the Middle East. But there is one area where Trump has undeniably succeeded: increasing the wealth of the Trump family. Even as his approval ratings have fallen, Trump and his businesses have reportedly received billions of dollars in new investments and deals, raising questions about presidential ethics and conflicts of interest. Today, Derek is joined by Isaac Saul of Tangle to draft the most striking examples of alleged corruption and ethical controversies in the second Trump administration and ask a simple question: Are we witnessing an unprecedented era of presidential profiteering? Air Date: 6/17/2026 Today we trace a pattern that repeated across half a dozen states this primary season: working-class candidates running on the cost of living beat the opponents party leadership hand-picked and funded. It looks like ordinary election news, but it's more pieces of a larger shift already underway; away from a politics of left against right and toward a new era of the elite vs working people.
