We learn more in this episode about living vicariously through yourself. My guest, Angela Marshall, and I discuss not listening to external voices, ignoring those negative internal voices, and being who you are. We discuss what we have learned from our personal experiences. Being who you are, rather than who others want you to be, is an essential aspect of living a fulfilling life. It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to please others and meet their expectations. However, in doing so, we can lose sight of our own desires and passions. When you prioritize your authentic self, you'll attract people who appreciate and accept you for who you are, rather than for what you can do for them. She uses her life experiences to inspire and motivate others while advocating for her community and supporting youth mentorship.
