Kevin & Sully decided it was time to have an episode where there were no interviews or general topics. They wanted to catch listeners up with what's been going on in their lives. Kevin's wife has Stage 2 Breast Cancer (she's only 30 years old), and has been dealing with that, with her, since around May. He talks about how difficult it is to manage everything day to day, and care for her as well. He says the outpouring of support has been amazing, and the difficult part about that, is he feels like he needs to reay that somehow. Sully says there should be no thought of repayment because the people that either donate, make food, or anything else, the payment is in them. They see the good it does and the help it provides, so that is the best for of "repayment". Jennifer McNamara is the widow of John McNamara who, with her 11 year old son Jack, lives in Suffolk County, New York. The program works in conjunction with a private animal rescue sanctuary and is free to combat veterans.  Testing The CATalyst program, Kevin worked with hundreds of “civilians” before he offered the experience for free to combat veterans.  After collecting data, the results showed significant stress relief in all demographics, from 18 to 80 years of age, not just the veteran community. Teaching people to counterbalance and re-pattern the fight, flight, freeze response is their mission and is incredibly effective in lowering stress levels. Today, they fund the free combat veteran programs with paid private sessions to the public and the generous help of donors. Kev & Sully have brought another person on board for the podcast. Her name is "Britt" (Brittany Oliveri) and she will be assuming the role of Production Coordinator. Three years later in May of 2017, I graduated from The Rochester Institute of Technology with my BFA in Advertising Photography. During my time at RIT, not only did I run my own freelancing photography business, but I also assisted along side Scott Nobles in a photo shoot with The Rochester River Dogz FC in May of 2016. A month later during the summer of 2016, I took on an internship in New York City working for Sports Illustrated. While at SI, I photographed swuimsuit model Samantha Hoopes for their Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's Summer of Swim special issue.
