We may be a day late, but the throttle's still wide open. This week, we're unpacking every wild moment from the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix — from Oscar Piastri's controversial penalty that had the paddock in flames, to Max Verstappen's unstoppable charge from last to the podium. Ollie Bearman continues his late-season climb toward greatness, putting Haas right back in the headlines. We'll also react to Ferrari chairman John Elkann's spicy new quote that “drivers who talk too much need to focus on driving and talk less,” and what that says about the state of the Scuderia. Then, it's on to Vegas and the home stretch of the championship — predictions, chaos, and whatever's left of our sanity as we head into the final rounds of 2025.It's The Fast Ones — equal parts speed, sarcasm, and serious F1 talk.
This week we discuss some of the significant developments that took place during the Brazil GP weekend, which saw Lando Norris take command of the F1 Drivers Championship and look ahead to the Las Vegas Grand Prix. In particular we delve into the role influencers are playing on helping F1 to reach new audiences in the United States, enlarging the fan base well beyond the traditional motorsport audiences. We hear all the time about the growing role of influencers in the coverage of the sport. F1, the teams and brands all now regularly invite them to attend races and interact with the stars. This is especially true of influencers in the US, some of whom have followings as large as mainstream media platforms, among demographics that F1 has not previously reached. How much more growth is there in F1? To find out more about their role and what the life of an influencer is about, James went to meet Brian Muller and Matt Elisofon, who host the popular Red Flags podcast, featuring former F1 team boss Guenther Steiner, to get their take on it. We also welcome back our F1 writer from the Netherlands Ronald Vording, For details on how to be part of the prize draw to win the replica Jackie Stewart helmet signed by all 20 living world champions go to https://win.raceagainstdementia.com/ Send your comments or questions to: @jamesallenonf1 on X or jamesallenonf1@autosport.com. = A Motorsport Studios production for Autosport

Send us a textIn this interview with @peterwindsor we discuss Max Verstappen's brilliant comeback drive at the Brazil GP discuss it was Verstappen's best ever Brazil GP drive, why Verstappen is now the best F1 driver of his era and what makes him so different? @peterwindsor explains why Red Bull were right to pit Verstappen late in the race for softs and why Verstappen would not have beat Lando Norris. This week on Paddock 43, we unpack one of the most dramatic weekends of the Formula 1 season, the Brazilian Grand Prix We kick things off with the moment everyone's talking about: Kimi Antonelli's bump into Oscar Piastri, the controversial 10-second penalty, and why we think Oscar was unfairly punished. Did the stewards get it wrong? Or was Antonelli really to blame? Then, we dive into the drivers' championship battle, is it Lando Norris' year? We discuss whether Oscar's time is still to come and how the McLaren rivalry is shaping up heading into the final races. We also dive deep into Franco Colapinto's contract extension and what this means for Jack Doohan's F1 dream. And, as always, we wrap things up with our Green Flag / Red Flag. McLaren might have just handed Max Verstappen the psychological edge he needed to take another world title.Climb the ladder with me on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsIn a stunning twist ahead of the Brazil GP, McLaren CEO Zak Brown's comments around 2007 and comparing it to Max Verstappen's tear in the title sent shockwaves through the paddock. What was meant as a message of unity between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri has instead comes off as McLaren conceding defeat before the fight is over.Clearly, this message has not landed the way it was intended to. Sure, the bosses of the McLaren F1 team is thinking about its team, but the 'external noise' is sounding off as the team's take on Max's surge has become a little muddied.Get 15% off at the Castore Official website with my special link: https://glnk.io/ryj2p/lawrence #AdCastoreAff#f1 #landonorris #formula1 #f12025 #maxverstappen #oscarpiastri #mclaren #mclarenf1team #redbullracing #redbullf1 #f1news #f1latest #formula12025 #f1updates #f1teams #f1drivers #papayarules #f1drama #saopaulogp McLaren Just Gifted Max Verstappen the Upper Handhttps://youtu.be/dRNci8ZJbDkCan't watch the ladder? The 2025 Formula 1 season has been WILD to say the least... from Oscar Piastri's incredible home win in Melbourne to the shock end (and restart) of Max Verstappen's dominance, we break down everything that's happened so far this year.In this episode, we dive into the standout moments that have defined the season - Nico Hülkenberg's shock podium, Isack Hadjar's breakout moment, and Carlos Sainz's impressive run with Williams Racing. We look back at Lewis Hamilton's lone win and unpack what's gone right (and wrong) for each of the top teams. Then we shift gears to what's next... crunching the championship math to see whether Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, or even George Russell can take home the 2025 Drivers' Championship and previewing this weekend's upcoming Brazilian GP at Interlagos. If you want a refresh on what's been, what's still to come, and who could actually win this title fight, strap yourself in, it's a good one.
The 2025 Mexico Grand Prix turned the Formula 1 world upside down. Lando Norris took victory and snatched the championship lead from Oscar Piastri, ending the Aussie's incredible title run and flipping the fight on its head.... for now.. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton was hit with a brutal 10-second penalty after clashing with Max Verstappen, reigniting an old rivalry. And over at Mercedes, George Russell's team radio meltdown said it all as frustration boils over. We break down:

Welcome to the Quick Stop F1 Podcast! While F1 is on another mini break until Vegas, Paris and Tasha are here to talk about some of the recent news we've been seeing. They give their thoughts on the Brazil GP weekend, how Lewis' last season with Mercedes is looking more bleak than ever, and how the rest of the grid is taking shape for 2025, as news of Gabriel Bortoleto nabbing the last Sauber seat has broken. They also appreciate the way George Russell (GDPA President) has stood on business, by penning a letter to the FIA President, Muhammad Ben Sulayem, telling him that the drivers don't appreciate his governing style, how his lack of transparency stinks, and above all, how he needs to watch his tone when he speaks on the drivers in the future.Shop for Quick Stop merch at - www.quickstopf1.comJoin our Patreon - www.patreon.com/QuickStopF1We are a small independent podcast and we really rely on every review on Apple podcasts and share, so please share us as far and wide as you can and remember to leave a review! An absolute drive of a champion from Max to start from 17th in rainy wet condition to power himself to the top podium position! He absolutely solidified his strong hold on the Championship after thus Sunday ! It was the exact opposite for Norris who finished a disappointing 6th. A fantastic effort from Alpine and their drivers to finish 2nd and 3rd in podium positions after very strong drives, and great strategy! Also a notable mention of Russell to power the Merc to a podium start on Quali, and who could have finished on the podium on Sunday!
Jonathan Noble and Filip Cleeren wrap up their coverage from Interlagos after a spectacular "Super Sunday" at the Brazilian Grand Prix, with qualfiying and the race taking place on the same day. Max Verstappen is the main focus of the podcast after pulling off one of the great Interlagos victories, after winning by almost 20 seconds, despite being eliminated in Q2 after a Red Flag ruined his qualifying run. The duo discuss Verstappen's incredible wet-weather pace, where McLaren lost control despite Lando Norris starting from pole, and whether it was a win that could seal Verstappen's fourth consecutive World Championship. There's also a discussion on Alpine, who managed to get both cars on the podium with Esteban Ocon second and Pierre Gasly, the first double podium for Team Enstone since 2013, and how it launched them back into the fight for sixth in the Constructors Championship. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Feven, Claudia and Mikey as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Brazilian Grand Prix. The Brazilian Grand Prix, known for its history of thrilling races, lived up to expectations once again. With rain in the forecast, fans anticipated a weekend full of unpredictability, and as a sprint weekend, it was action-packed from start to finish. McLaren looked determined, showing impressive pace through practice, sprint qualifying, and the sprint race. Heavy rain on Saturday forced qualifying to be rescheduled for Sunday morning, just hours before the main event. Qualifying turned chaotic with five red flags as drivers struggled to stay on track in the wet conditions. Both Red Bull drivers were eliminated in Q2 when a red flag with 40 seconds left halted their progress. Max Verstappen faced a five-place grid penalty due to an engine change, starting from P17 while his championship rival started from pole. For Red Bull, it was all about damage limitation, but once the lights went out, Max was unstoppable. Driving flawlessly, he climbed through the field in less than half the race, and after a red flag, he restarted in P2. On the restart, Max overtook Ocon and never looked back, setting over ten fastest laps and securing victory by more than 15 seconds. Alpine, a team few expected to see in the top five this season, made all the right strategic calls to secure a double podium finish, boosting them from ninth to sixth in the constructors' championship—a leap worth over $30 million in prize money. Jonathan Noble and Filip Cleeren continue their coverage of a newsworthy Saturday at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Sprint opened the day, and with it, McLaren taking a 1-2 finish, but with Lando Norris in front after a swap of positions between the Brit and teammate Oscar Piastri with just three laps to go. Jonathan and Filip break down the "good problem to have" for McLaren as they delicately juggle team orders, and the threats of Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. There's also an explainer on why Verstappen dropped to fourth with a five-second time penalty for a Virtual Safety Car infringement. But soon after, the rain came pouring down at Interlagos, so much of it that Qualifying has been delayed until Sunday morning, with the stewards potentially holding the power to shape the grid for the Grand Prix if the rain persists. Jon and Filip preview what could happen on Sunday, and who they think are favourites for victory. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Jonathan Noble and Filip Cleeren react to Practise and Sprint Qualifying on Friday of the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix. Jonathan explains how the predictions of Interlagos' new abrasive resurfacing run true, as thermal degradation and a lack of tyre sets have led to difficulty in controlling the driver's cars. What the drivers weren't expecting though, was the surface of the track becoming very bumpy There was the breaking news drop in the morning of Ollie Bearman coming in at the last minute to replace an ill Kevin Magnussen for the weekend, and the Brit impressed again, outqualifying Nico Hulkenberg and making the final round of Sprint Qualifying. And during SQ3, it was Oscar Piastri who went fastest on his final hotlap attempt in a McLaren 1-2 ahead of teammate Lando Norris. Will McLaren play team orders tomorrow? Jonathan Noble and Filip Cleeren kick off the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend as they handle media day at Interlagos. A lot of the discussion is centered around Max Verstappen and the criticisms of his racecraft after his 20 seconds of time penalties in Mexico, and whether Verstappen will show any signs of change as a result. Included are some behind-the-scenes thoughts on Lando Norris' and his reflections on Mexico, and the surprising lack of conversation between the two drivers since. There's also talk on the newly resurfaced track at Interlagos and the tyre management difficulties the teams are set to face over the weekend, Liam Lawson and Sergio Perez continuing their back and forth with the press after their own Mexico clash, and some talk from Franco Colapinto as Red Bull's interest in the Argentian driver goes public. Welcome to the Quick Stop F1 Podcast! We're in São Paulo, Brazil for another packed weekend of racing! We had our sixth and final Sprint weekend of the season, and once again, half of the F1 community debates the need for Sprint races at all, and the other half brainstorms ways to make them to make them better. This weekend has brought us a 'Biblical' rainstorm which ended Qualifying, Lando's first ever Sprint Pole (shocking even himself, apparently), and the realization that, despite intense prayers, Mercedes' race pace might not save us after all.
