Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Feven, Claudia and Mikey as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Brazilian Grand Prix. The Brazilian Grand Prix, known for its history of thrilling races, lived up to expectations once again. With rain in the forecast, fans anticipated a weekend full of unpredictability, and as a sprint weekend, it was action-packed from start to finish. McLaren looked determined, showing impressive pace through practice, sprint qualifying, and the sprint race. Heavy rain on Saturday forced qualifying to be rescheduled for Sunday morning, just hours before the main event. Qualifying turned chaotic with five red flags as drivers struggled to stay on track in the wet conditions. Both Red Bull drivers were eliminated in Q2 when a red flag with 40 seconds left halted their progress. Max Verstappen faced a five-place grid penalty due to an engine change, starting from P17 while his championship rival started from pole. For Red Bull, it was all about damage limitation, but once the lights went out, Max was unstoppable. Driving flawlessly, he climbed through the field in less than half the race, and after a red flag, he restarted in P2. On the restart, Max overtook Ocon and never looked back, setting over ten fastest laps and securing victory by more than 15 seconds. Alpine, a team few expected to see in the top five this season, made all the right strategic calls to secure a double podium finish, boosting them from ninth to sixth in the constructors' championship—a leap worth over $30 million in prize money. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Feven, Claudia and Mikey as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Austin Grand Prix. After a three-week break, F1 action resumed at the Austin Grand Prix, with added excitement thanks to a sprint qualifying and race. With multiple teams bringing significant upgrades and limited time for testing, both qualifying sessions were tightly contested. Red Bull looked strong in the sprint, with Max Verstappen topping both the qualifying and sprint race, but the main qualifying and race told a different story. Ferrari had a slow start to the weekend, but after making key adjustments before Parc Fermé, they secured P3 and P4 in qualifying, while Lando Norris and Max Verstappen lined up on the front row. After an intense Turn 1 battle between Max and Lando, Charles Leclerc capitalized on the situation, taking the race lead. From that point, Ferrari controlled the race, with both cars managing their positions effectively. The race saw heavy involvement from the stewards, who handed out penalties to multiple drivers. The most controversial moment came during a fierce late-race battle between Lando and Max. Max made a move on the inside, pushing Lando off track, but Lando regained the position by going off the circuit. The stewards handed Lando a five-second penalty, a decision that sparked debate, and ultimately allowed Max to finish P3, with Lando relegated to P4. Next up is the Mexico Grand Prix, the second race in this triple-header. With the stewards under scrutiny and the top teams fighting for the constructors' championship, all eyes will be on the action as McLaren remains within striking distance. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Swish, Feven and Mikey as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Singapore Grand Prix. After a strong showing in Baku, McLaren set their sights on extending their lead in the constructors' championship. Ferrari, known for their strength on street circuits, aimed to steal a win in Singapore. Throughout practice, both teams fiercely competed for the top three spots, trading positions session by session. However, qualifying told a different story. Ferrari missed key opportunities, with Sainz crashing on his outlap and Leclerc failing to put together a competitive lap. The surprise of the session was Max Verstappen, who secured a front-row start. Even Red Bull didn't expect their car to make it into Q3, but Max managed to set a lap time within three-tenths of Lando Norris. The Singapore Grand Prix is notorious for being a race defined by pace, qualifying position, and tire strategy, as overtaking on this track is notoriously difficult—even with four DRS zones. This year was no exception. After the first lap, Lando pulled ahead with a commanding lead, at one point extending it to over 30 seconds, while the rest of the field scrambled for optimal positions. With Lando now just 52 points behind Max in the driver's championship, all eyes are on the final six races to see if we're headed for a title showdown like 2021. As the three-week break begins, every team will be hard at work, searching for upgrades to bring to Austin and narrowing the gap to McLaren. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Feven and Claudia as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Belgian Grand Prix. Spa has always been known for producing thrilling races. As the longest track on the calendar at over 7 km per lap, teams needed to strike the perfect balance between straight-line speed and downforce. McLaren was expected to be the strongest team this weekend, but with the teams appearing evenly matched, no clear favourite emerged. Qualifying featured exciting mixed conditions with rain, highlighting Max Verstappen's dominance as he led in every sector. However, an engine penalty meant he would start from P11. Spa's long straights have historically led to multiple DRS trains, often limiting on-track action. This race surprised many pundits and analysts, as neither Red Bull nor McLaren were in contention for the win. Instead, Ferrari and Mercedes battled at the front. George Russell made a bold call to go for a one-stop strategy, initially winning the race, only to be disqualified due to the car's weight. Lewis Hamilton ultimately took the win, but Mercedes was stripped of their 1-2 finish in Belgium. Despite the setback, this performance bodes well for the team as they head into the summer break. With four teams now within a second of each other, the second half of the season promises exciting racing. Now, as the "silly season" begins, fans eagerly await announcements about driver lineups for next year. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Swish, Mikey, and Feven as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Austrian Grand Prix. After his victory in Barcelona, Max Verstappen aimed to deliver another strong performance at Red Bull's home race. With it being a sprint weekend, Red Bull and every other team had just one practice session to get things right. Both qualifying sessions saw Max asserting his dominance, proving he could lead the field even in the second-best car. In the sprint race, Max held off both McLarens to secure victory. On Sunday, what initially seemed like a cruising win for Max turned into an intense battle between a determined Lando Norris and a struggling Verstappen by lap 60. The ensuing 5-6 laps had everyone on edge as both drivers pushed the limits of fair racing. The incident on lap 63, which ended Lando's race and left Max finishing in P5, will be a hot topic for weeks to come. Although Max and Lando are great friends off the track, this clash has created significant friction. Congratulations to George Russell and Mercedes for seizing the opportunity and securing the win. With Silverstone right around the corner, this heated tension is set to escalate, sparking a rivalry that will likely define many races this season. It's also encouraging to see teams like Alpine and Haas making great progress, consistently fighting for midfield points. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Mikey, Swish and Feven as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Monaco Grand Prix. We want to first thank our partners at Rec Watches for sponsoring this episode. Rec Watches is a Danish independent watch brand specializing in manufacturing timepieces infused with the DNA of motorsport legends. Rec just released the 98T/4, watch that features original parts of Aryton Senna's 1986 Lotus 98T. There is a 20% pre-order discount for our Track Limits community: https://www.recwatches.com/timepieces/98t-4/ All eyes were fixed on Charles Leclerc this weekend, with hopes high that he might finally shatter the curse that has shadowed his career: winning his home race. From the onset of FP1, it was evident he wouldn't allow anything to stand in his way. Setting benchmarks beyond reach, his confidence going into the race was unparalleled. The Monaco Grand Prix, entrenched in the city's legacy, has remained unchanged for a considerable time despite Formula 1 car regulations evolving to produce larger, longer cars. Negotiating the narrow streets has become increasingly challenging, rendering overtaking nearly impossible. This year proved no exception, with fewer than five on-track passes throughout the entire race, compounded by a red flag on Lap 1 prompting all teams to opt for a single set of tires for the duration. Fans are clamouring for Formula 1 to revitalize the Monaco Grand Prix, proposing various changes such as altering the track layout, introducing a DRS section, reverting to classic Grand Prix regulations with different car specifications, or mandating three pit stops. Numerous compelling ideas aim to inject more excitement into an event that has lacked thrills in recent years. Anticipation initially suggested Max would dominate yet again this year. However, with four different race winners already and a tightly contested championship battle, the season has proven to be far more unpredictable and captivating than anticipated. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Feven, Mikey, and Swish as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Miami Grand Prix. Lando secures his maiden victory, breaking McLaren's dry spell since 2012 with only two race wins. The triumph holds immense significance for both Lando and the McLaren crew, evident in the raw emotions on display. With strategic upgrades and a track that favoured their car, McLaren executed flawlessly, delivering a long-awaited triumph. As for Red Bull, is it time for their fans to hit the panic button, or was this merely an off-weekend? The verdict remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: the Miami Grand Prix showcased that even Max Verstappen's Red Bull is vulnerable. Meanwhile, Ferrari, sporting a fresh livery, engaged in thrilling battles throughout the sprint and feature races. The VCARB team came prepared to Miami, with Ricciardo's impressive P4 finish in the Sprint underscoring his enduring race craft. Yuki's P7 in the feature race, ahead of Russell and Alonso, further solidified their strong performance. The big question now: can Lando and McLaren sustain this momentum into the upcoming European races, or will Red Bull stage a comeback? Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Join Henny, Feven, and Mikey as they delve into the Chinese Grand Prix that just wrapped up. We experienced the inaugural sprint weekend of the year, and it certainly lived up to expectations, offering more excitement and chaos during the sprint race than the main event on Sunday. Mother Nature played her part, delivering rain that resulted in one of the most captivating qualifying sessions in recent memory, with Lewis and Lando clinching pole position and runner-up respectively. Nevertheless, nothing could derail the Max speed train as he dominated the sprint race, qualifying, and the full race without breaking a sweat. With the introduction of new formats and regulations, teams like McLaren capitalized on parc fermé rules, making adjustments that bolstered their race performance, evident in Lando's 2nd place finish, splitting the Red Bulls on the podium. Zhou showcased flashes of brilliance at his home race for the first time but hindered by a poor qualifying and lackluster performance, he couldn't fully capitalize during the feature race. The VCARB team endured a forgettable weekend with both drivers forced to retire due to on-track collisions. Next stop: the sunlit city of Miami, where teams are expected to unveil upgrades both on their cars and in their branding, perhaps with a touch of the Vice City edition aesthetic. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Join Henny, Feven, and Mikey as they delve into the Japanese Grand Prix that just wrapped up. The Japan Grand Prix arrived swiftly this time around, echoing the theme from last year: can the Red Bull team bounce back from a challenging previous race? As qualifying concluded, both Red Bulls found themselves comfortably positioned in P1 and P2, and during the race, they demonstrated dominance. Once again, the pressure mounted for Daniel Ricciardo to perform, but his race ended abruptly after just the first two corners due to a collision with Alex Albon. With his lacklustre performance in the first four races, Ricciardo finds himself under scrutiny, given the talent at Red Bull. Meanwhile, Yuki continues to impress earning another point; this time in his home race. Following a tumultuous previous race for Williams, issues persisted as Logan Sargeant crashed the car in FP1 and Alex Albon retired due to the collision with Daniel on lap one. With no spare chassis available, they enter China with two cars and no backups. Carlos continues to enjoy a stellar run, showcasing his abilities to all the team principals. The lingering question remains: how long can he sustain this performance, especially when the car isn't the strongest on the track? We have launched our MERCH STORE with some exclusive items. Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Join Henny, Feven, and Mikey as they delve into the Australian Grand Prix that just wrapped up. Just 16 days post-surgery, Carlos made a triumphant return, asserting his status as the top unemployed driver on the grid. His determined demeanour during qualifying indicated a clear mission. While Max's early race DNF facilitated the opportunity for other drivers, the Ferrari displayed formidable strength all weekend, poised for a potential challenge against Red Bull. McLaren seized the opportunity presented by Red Bull and Mercedes' underwhelming performance, securing podium and P4 finishes. Their progress from the previous year on this track is evident, marking a significant achievement for the team. Conversely, Mercedes faces concerns over reliability issues and the unpredictability of their car's performance. Off the track, Williams garnered attention for assigning Albon Logan's car after his FP1 crash, highlighting their limited production efforts by lacking an extra chassis for the weekend. Our hosts discuss the implications of this decision to a driver's confidence while also considering that F1 is a team sport and tough decisions need to be made to optimize the overall team's performance. Welcome back to Season Two of the Track Limits Podcast! Join Henny, Swish, Feven, and Mikey as they delve into the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix that just wrapped up.Following Red Bull's dominant performance last week, they aimed for another 1-2 finish, a goal that became evident as early as lap 10. Meanwhile, off the track, the Red Bull PR team faced heightened stress, exacerbated by the Christian Horner situation amidst internal politics and paddock rumours. Amidst this drama, the race provided moments of exciting mid-pack battles, notably the skirmish between positions 11 to 16.A standout moment in the race was when Ollie Bearman from F2 unexpectedly filled in the Ferrari seat due to Carlos Sainz's last-minute surgery. While such opportunities are rare for young drivers, Ollie capitalized on it, finishing in P7 and fending off the rapid Norris and Hamilton behind him. However, one peculiar aspect of this race was the FIA and stewards' atypical leniency in handing out penalties. Despite Lando's jumpstart, penalties that were typically immediate in the past were overlooked this time, raising questions about adherence to the rulebook. Similarly, the decision to impose TWO 10-second penalties on Kevin Magnussen seemed excessive, sparking discussions about the FIA's consistency in enforcing fair racing standards.Beyond the F1 race, the inaugural F1 academy race took place, coinciding with International Women's Day weekend in a country where women were previously prohibited from driving. Dorian Pin shone by securing double pole position and winning both races, showcasing exceptional talent. However, communication lapses and perhaps adrenaline led to a 20-second penalty for failing to stop after the chequered flag. Nevertheless, aligning the Academy series with the calendar is a positive step for F1, promising more thrilling racing in the future. We have also launched our MERCH STORE with some exclusive items. Welcome back to Season Two of the Track Limits Podcast! Join Henny, Swish, Feven, and Mikey as they delve into the Bahrain Grand Prix, marking the thrilling start of the F1 season.Despite the tantalizing glimpses of a tighter grid during pre-season testing and practice sessions, the race itself revealed a familiar dominance, with Max Verstappen securing a commanding victory, leaving his teammate Sergio Perez trailing by 22 seconds. While hopes were high for an action-packed race, it turned out that the drama unfolded more off the track than on it.Nevertheless, our hosts remain optimistic about the season ahead, anticipating numerous surprises and exhilarating races, particularly if attention is directed toward the battles from second to twentieth place. However, discussions among the hosts sparked disagreements regarding the future prospects for Carlos Sainz, concerns over George Russell's error-prone performances, the intriguing RB Cash App team driver swap towards the race's conclusion, and reflections on Charles Leclerc's streak of misfortune from the previous year.We want to thank Sixty Iconic for sending us two amazing Formula 1 canvases, they are amazing. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Mikey share their thoughts on the recently concluded Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Las Vegas GP was poised to be the second-to-last race of the season and drew intense scrutiny for its smooth execution. Yet, the start of the race weekend encountered a few hitches, drawing substantial criticism toward the organizers and Liberty Media. Max Verstappen was notably vocal about the Grand Prix being more of a spectacle than a true race, a sentiment echoed by many, including fans. However, the race itself surpassed all expectations. In fact, it might have stood out as the pinnacle of the season. The track buzzed with action, ensuring there wasn't a single lackluster moment throughout the event. Although hopes were high for Charles Leclerc and Ferrari to secure his first win of the season after an impressive qualifying, a twist unfolded with a safety car deployment and strategic tire changes for both Red Bull drivers. This allowed Max Verstappen to elegantly clinch a well-deserved victory. The track's layout, often compared humorously to an upside-down pig, became a source of amusement in the paddock. However, for most drivers, it provided an exhilarating street circuit experience with ample opportunities for racing and overtaking. Notably, Ocon and Stroll delivered commendable performances, battling fiercely from the back of the grid to secure top 5 finishes.Looking ahead, the final race of the season looms in Abu Dhabi. With just 4 points separating Mercedes and Ferrari in the constructors' championship, and a mere 12 points between the top 4 drivers, anticipation surges for a thrilling, action-packed finale. There's perhaps no better way to conclude the season than witnessing multiple drivers and teams locked in a fierce battle right up to the finish line.Thank you to our friends at Manta Sleep for sponsoring our podcast. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Swish share their thoughts on the recently concluded Brazilian Grand Prix. This marks the final sprint race weekend on the calendar, and it certainly lived up to the expectations. Red Bull showed they had learned from past mistakes, concentrating their efforts on a long-run plan during FP1. In contrast, Mercedes struggled to find the right car setup, battling issues ranging from high drag to tire degradation and overheating. It was a weekend Mercedes would rather put behind them, with disappointing results in the sprint race, a P8 finish for Lewis Hamilton, and a DNF for George Russell.Following a challenging DNF in his home Grand Prix, Sergio Perez returned with a singular focus: to maximize the weekend and move closer to securing P2 in the drivers' championship. With a podium finish in the sprint race and a thrilling last-lap showdown with Fernando Alonso for P3, it appears that Perez has regained his confidence in the Red Bull car.Is Charles Leclerc the unluckiest driver of the year? That's up for debate. His DNF during the formation lap sums up a year that hasn't gone as planned for both Charles and Ferrari. Meanwhile, Lando Norris delivered another impressive performance, moving from P6 to P2 with a strong start and excellent tire management. On the other hand, Oscar Piastri endured damage right from the race's outset and spent most of his time at the back of the grid.Looking ahead, in just two weeks, we have one of the most highly anticipated races on the calendar: the Las Vegas Grand Prix. For many, this race, set under the vibrant lights of the Vegas Strip, is a cause for celebration. However, for some drivers, it's seen more as a show than a traditional race. The track layout will favour teams with strong straight-line speed, and outfits like Williams, McLaren, and Red Bull will strive to maximize their car's performance on this unique circuit.Thank you to our friends at Manta Sleep for sponsoring our podcast. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Mikey with special guest Victoria share their thoughts on the recently concluded Mexico Grand Prix.Checo Perez's home race held great promise, but a series of tough races left him hungry for a strong finish. Qualifying showed his potential, yet his sole aim was a victory or a podium finish. With a spectacular start, he boldly went three-wide into the first corner, unfortunately colliding with Charles Leclerc, abruptly ending his race. A bitter disappointment for Perez, compounded by Lewis Hamilton closing in on the P2 spot in the driver championship.Teams were well aware of the track's challenges, featuring 25% lower air density and reduced downforce, demanding precise timing and balance to prevent brake and tire overheating. Race strategy emphasized tire management and brake cooling to minimize pit stops and driver errors.Mercedes, Ferrari, and McLaren executed impressive one-stop strategies (excluding the Red Flag), securing P2 for Hamilton, P3 for Leclerc, and a remarkable ascent from P17 to P5 by Lando Norris in the McLaren. Even AlphaTauri, the last-place team on the grid, showcased progress with Ricciardo finishing in P7.The next stop: the final race of the triple-header, the Brazil Grand Prix. Last year saw Red Bull's struggles and George Russell's career-defining win. Will Red Bull repeat past mistakes, or can Max Verstappen secure victory once more? Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, Mikey and Swish share their thoughts on the recently concluded United States Grand Prix. With yet another sprint race weekend, fans eagerly anticipated a display of teams striving to strike the right balance and formulate effective strategies despite their limited practice time. The race results authentically narrate the tale of some teams successfully fine-tuning their car setups while others fell short due to insufficient time. Notably, teams like Haas and Aston Martin introduced substantial upgrade packages but struggled to identify the optimal configurations for maximizing performance. In contrast, outfits like Mercedes, who introduced a new floor upgrade, witnessed a tangible improvement in their performance during both the sprint shootout and the main race. During the race itself, Lewis Hamilton appeared poised for victory, but due to strategic missteps and pitstop blunders, Max Verstappen ultimately seized the win. This race presented perhaps the sternest challenge for Max, who grappled with a braking issue and significant tire degradation, all while fending off a late surge from Lewis Hamilton. The underwhelming Sprint Race on Saturday sparked discussions about the necessity of either removing it or devising a new format to enhance the race's entertainment value. Conversely, the sprint race weekends offer fans additional trackside excitement and the prospect of surprises when top teams fail to hit the mark with their setups. As we transition to the second race of the triple-header, the Mexico Grand Prix, one wonders whether the fervent home crowd support for Checo Perez will provide him with the necessary confidence and impetus to secure a podium finish. Alternatively, could McLaren spring a surprise with a formidable performance, benefitting from the favourable track conditions and temperature suited to their car?Make sure to subscribe, review and follow us on our socials:https://www.instagram.com/tracklimits/https://youtube.com/@tracklimitspodhttps://twitter.com/tracklimits_pod/https://www.tiktok.com/@tracklimitspodJoin our mailing list to learn more about Track Limits:https://www.tracklimitspod.com/Don't forget to subscribe to our channel, hit the notification bell, and leave a comment.
Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, Mikey and Swish share their thoughts on the recently concluded Qatar Grand Prix.Max Verstappen secured his third world championship title! He clinched it during the sprint race on Saturday and smoothly sailed to another Grand Prix victory. Piastri's impressive performance throughout the weekend, winning the sprint race and finishing P2 on Sunday, was overshadowed by Max's triumph.McLaren is steadily closing the gap to Red Bull's pace, emerging as the second-best team on the grid. Their driver pairing promises thrilling battles ahead. Alfa Romeo also impressed with a double-point finish, showcasing their car's true potential after a very tough season so far.Mercedes suffered a nightmare as both their drivers collided at the first turn, impacting team dynamics. Ferrari faced disappointment with Carlos being unable to race due to a defective car. High humidity and heat took a toll on drivers, requiring medical attention post-race.The American Grand Prix is up next, with McLaren and Mercedes ready for a podium battle. Pressure mounts on drivers like Checo Perez, Logan Sargeant, and Lance Stroll to bounce back from a challenging Qatar weekend and aim for maximum points. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Mikey share their thoughts on the recently concluded Japanese Grand Prix.Following a disappointing race in Singapore, the Red Bull team was determined to reclaim their status as the dominant force on the grid. Max Verstappen took it upon himself to send a clear message to everyone in the paddock and the spectators that Red Bull should not be underestimated. On the other hand, Checo Perez endured what we believe was one of the worst races in his career, plagued by damage, unnecessary penalties, and rookie overtaking errors.Nevertheless, Max Verstappen single-handedly propelled Red Bull to the Constructors Championship with his P1 finish and has a chance to secure the Drivers Championship during the upcoming Sprint Race in Qatar. This performance underscores the gap between Max and Checo, raising questions about whether Red Bull will retain this duo in the upcoming season.Oscar Piastri entered the weekend with a clear goal – to secure a podium finish. With the aid of new upgrades, he qualified in P2 and ultimately finished the race in P3. What initially appeared to be a challenging season for McLaren is evolving into one of the most remarkable improvements on the grid. With several races on the horizon, the McLaren car seems well-suited to narrow the gap to Aston Martin and secure P4 in the Constructors' standings.Mercedes took center stage with a captivating battle between their drivers, a situation that could have ended disastrously for the team. Meanwhile, Ferrari had a more low-key weekend but managed to achieve a respectable P4 and P6 finish. All eyes are now fixed on the intense rivalry between Mercedes and Ferrari as they vie for the coveted P2 position in the Constructors' standings. As the Qatar Grand Prix approaches, McLaren aims to maintain their strong performance and secure another podium finish, while Ferrari and Mercedes will be diligently searching for improvements to enhance their performance and compete for that crucial P2 spot.Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, Swish, and Mikey share their thoughts on the recently concluded Singaporean Grand Prix. The Red Bull dominance has officially ended, and we have ourselves a new winner, Carlos Sainz, in the 2023 season. There are a lot of speculations going on right now as to why Red Bull performed poorly all weekend long; was it the new TD regulations, the wrong setup, or track characteristics? Let's just say the Red Bull team will be scrambling to find a solution before the next race.Carlos Sainz has become a new driver since the summer break. With back-to-back pole positions and now a race win, it can be said that he is the number one driver on the Ferrari team right now. Alongside Carlos was his best mate, Lando Norris, finishing in P2 (thanks to Carlos's brilliant move to keep Lando in the DRS). In just his third race and arguably one of the most challenging tracks of the season, Liam Lawson finished in P9 and earned himself his first career F1 points. Mercedes also looked very locked in this weekend, and both were fighting for a podium finish at the end. George Russell made a costly mistake on the last lap that cost him a P3 finish (a rare mistake to see from a well-seasoned driver like Russell), but confident he will bounce back very soon. On the flip side, our team made a bet to see which Ferrari driver would come out on top, and the losing host would have to participate in a hot sauce challenge. Swish and Henny chose Charles Leclerc and had to pay the price of having a scorching mouth throughout the episode. We also have a special guest, Craig Scarborough, join us on this episode to give his thoughts on Alpine's request for engine equalization for the 2026 regulation changes. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Swish, joined by special guest Sakshi, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Italian Grand Prix. The curse has been broken by no other than Max Verstappen, who also made an F1 record of 10 consecutive wins. Alongside Max, Checo also helped secure another record for the team as they crossed 15 straight wins. Red Bull did not achieve the 1-2 podium easily this time around, as the Ferrari duo gave them a mighty challenge. Carlos Sainz achieved pole position on Saturday and gave it his all to hold off Max, but after 15 laps, Max was able to force an error on Sainz and never looked back. At the same time, Checo stormed from P5 to P2 by battling hard with both the Ferrari drivers.Albon continues to shine as he drove brilliantly to hold off both McLarens and finish in P7. While the Mercedes duo both served 5-second penalties due to mistakes on track, they still managed to secure P5 & P6. Seeing Yuki having trouble with the car and DNF was sad, but Liam Lawson battled hard and finished in P11.Singapore is two weeks away, and with a new layout this year, teams expect to have more battles and overtakes, which was rare to see in the past. Will Checo, King of Streets, reclaim another win, or will Max continue his reign? Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny and Feven, joined by special guests Niru and Sayem, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Dutch Grand Prix. This race did not disappoint at all! With a bit of help from Mother Nature, we got to see every team get tested for their efficiency and strategic prowess. For Max Verstappen, you can throw any obstacles at him, and he continues to have dominant wins. He tied Sebastian Vettlel's nine wins in a row this week and will be hunting for the record-breaking 10th win next week. What looked like it would be a strong weekend for both McLaren and Mercedes was filled with strategic mistakes, wrong setups, and race incidents. Albon and the Williams team were a massive surprise to many, finishing P4 in qualifying and P8 in the race. Only time will tell on the growth Williams can have under the leadership of James Vowles. We were all disappointed to see Daniel Ricciardo miss out on this race and potentially a few more after his accident in FP2, but Liam Lawson rose to the occasion and performed well for a rookie with limited time on the track. With Monza right around the corner, do we anticipate Max Verstappen breaking the record, or will we see another drive sneak up and steal the win in what's expected to be another rainy with a mix of sunshine race day?Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, Swish and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded Belgium Grand Prix.We had another sprint weekend, and with rain forecasted throughout the weekend, teams were limited with their setup and had to gamble on the rain falling on Sunday. McLaren was one of those teams who loaded the car anticipating rain, and it bit them hard as they struggled to keep up the pace on the two long straights. On the other hand, Max Verstappen starting in 6th but finding himself clear of the field by lap 20 is becoming the new normal, even though we should be amazed by his performance. It brings up the question of how Checo could not even battle Max in the race even though they have the same equal machinery. What looked like an excellent weekend for both Piastri and Sainz ended in DNF as they made contact during the race start in the first corner. Time will tell, but Piastri, as a rookie, showed great performance these past few races and is eyeing his first podium in the upcoming races.Summer break is upon us now, and that means no F1 races for several weeks. Uterine fibroids are a very common finding in women of reproductive age. The majority of fibroids do not change their size during pregnancy, but one-third may grow in the first trimester. Although the data are conflicting and most women with fibroids have uneventful pregnancies, the weight of evidence in the literature suggests that uterine fibroids are associated with an increased rate of spontaneous miscarriage, preterm labor, placenta abruption, malpresentation, labor dystocia, cesarean delivery, and postpartum hemorrhage.About Our Guest:Feven graduated in 2021 with her Bachelors of Social Work. Every July, individuals around the world raise awareness for uterine fibroids, which affect an estimated 26M women of reproductive age in the United States alone. The Eudaimonia Center is dedicated to raising awareness about the effects of uterine fibroids on women's livelihoods and promoting a bonafide, whole-person approach to health, wellness, and healing with a uterine fibroid diagnosis. As an estrogen dominant condition, hormone imbalances derived from the foods you ingest to the products you put on your hair and body can negatively affect symptoms by exacerbating fibroid growth and proliferation. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, Swish and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded British Grand Prix.McLaren did not mess around in their home race. They had a chrome livery and a new package that not only brought them back in the mid-field but almost on a double podium finish. William looked amazing throughout practice and qualifying and managed to secure P8 with Albon. If you remove Max from the equation, the rest of the field is within four-tenths of each other. As Toto Wolff said, the regulations seem to be working in bringing the teams closer together in race pace. Only time will tell if Mercedes, Aston Martin, and Ferrari will bring massive packages to close the gap on Red Bull. We also saw Brad Pitt and his co-stars filming the Apple TV movie during the GP weekend. It looks like APEX GP entered as an 11th team and led the drivers walk onto the track. We are excited to see how this movie comes together. Next up, we have the Hungary Grand Prix, and we will get to see if McLaren can pull a repeat podium finish or if the other teams will fight back with new upgrades. Uterine fibroids are usually found during a health evaluation with a primary care physician or gynecologist. They may ask about any relevant symptoms, take a medical history, and perform a physical exam to confirm a diagnosis. Patients may then be counseled about "watchful waiting", may be referred to a specialized provider for surgical intervention, or to another provider that addresses uterine fibroids by addressing the underlying root cause by utilizing integrative treatment options. Some over-the-counter medications relieve mild fibroid symptoms like pain and cramping. However, these medications don't address the root of the issue. A minimally invasive procedure called uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) is an outpatient procedure performed using local anesthesia. A small catheter is inserted into the treatment area and guided to the uterine arteries. Once in place, tiny particles are released to block the blood flow to the fibroids. This starves the fibroids and causes them to shrink over time. Uterine Fibroid Awareness Month is the perfect time to learn about uterine fibroids and start the conversation with your provider, friends, and loved ones. Schedule an appointment at The Eudaimonia Center by calling a team member. We provide additional information, resources, and a whole-person, integrative approach to helping you take control of your uterine health.About Our Guest:Feven graduated in 2021 with her Bachelors of Social Work. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded Austrian Grand Prix. With the new sprint race format, we got a lot more racing and even more TRACK LIMITS penalties. Even after the race, more than five drivers received additional penalties due to Aston Martin's protest. With race qualifying on Friday, we saw the two Ferrari drivers show their one-lap pace and finish very close to Max's pole lap. Checo, unfortunately, could not put anytime on the board due to track limits. The Sprint shootout and race offered some entertaining moments, but Max was able to cruise to a dominant win, with Checo finishing in 2nd place and Carlos in 3rd place. The Sunday race had everyone return to the qualifying grid, which meant that Checo had to climb up the ranks from P15, and with his strong performance, he finished 3rd on the podium. Max has such a large gap that he pitted for new soft tires and went for the fastest lap on the last lap. It seems like no one on the grid can compete with Max right now. Even with a high degradation track, the Ferrari cars performed really well this weekend, and we will see if they can push even harder in Silverstone. The Mercedes and Aston Martin had a miserable weekend full of setup issues, lack of pace, and track limit penalties. We are sending our condolences and thoughts to the family of Dilano Van 'T Hoff, who sadly passed away after an accident at Spa this weekend. We must address the safety issues that caused this incident and make sure they are avoided in the future. Thank you for tuning in. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Swish, Henny, Mikey, and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded Montreal Grand Prix. This is a full circle moment for us as we initially came up with the idea to start Track Limits during last year's Montreal Grand Prix. This past weekend, we were grateful to work with Red Bull, AlphaTuari, Aston Martin, Pennzoil, and Shell to get a closer look during the race weekend. It was great to see Red Bull secure their 100th win since they entered F1. Seeing Ferrari make the right strategy and show great pace gives us hope that they can bounce back and fight for podiums. Aston Martin and Mercedes were neck and neck throughout this weekend and gave us an entertaining few laps of overtakes. It may have been the most iconic podium finish F1 has seen and it was awesome to have it happen on our home race. Let's hope we get more of these finishes in the upcoming races. Maybe even a Mercedes or Aston Martin win coming soon???Make sure to subscribe, review and follow us on our socials:https://www.instagram.com/tracklimits/https://youtube.com/@tracklimitspodhttps://twitter.com/tracklimits_pod/https://www.tiktok.com/@tracklimitspodJoin our mailing list to learn more about Track Limits:https://www.tracklimitspod.com/
Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Feven, Mikey, Henny, and Swish share their thoughts on the recently concluded Miami Grand Prix. Coming off a 1-2 finish in Baku, the Red Bull team has their sights on a repeat podium finish. With only 6 points separating the Red Bull drivers, all eyes were on Checo Perez. After a wild qualifying on Saturday, Max ended up in P9 due to Charles's accident with under 2 mins left in Q3. With Checo on pole, everything was looking good for him to win the race, but you can never count out Max. Max was able to go through the grid and end up in P2 by lap 15. From then on, Max was on the charge to win the race, and after a small battle with Checo, he had the win locked up. We discussed the dominance of Red Bull, whether teams will ever catch up to them this year or if FIA needs to step in to mitigate this runoff and the rookies' disappointing results in Miami. We also have a special guest, @brrrake, chime in on what most surprised him in the race.Make sure to subscribe, review and follow us on our socials:https://www.instagram.com/tracklimits/https://youtube.com/@tracklimitspodhttps://twitter.com/tracklimits_pod/https://www.tiktok.com/@tracklimitspodJoin our mailing list to learn more about Track Limits:https://www.tracklimitspod.com/
Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Feven, Mikey, and Henny share their thoughts on the recently concluded Azerbaijan Grand Prix held in the city of Baku. After a small spring break, we are back to racing! F1 introduced a new sprint format which included a new shootout qualifying for the sprint race. For fans, it felt like we were getting two races in one weekend, but did they choose the right track for this format? You can't bring up street tracks without mentioning Checo Perez, who become the first back-to-back winner in Baku and only 6 points shy of Driver Championship leader Max Verstappen. We can all be honest by saying this race did not offer any entertainment factor but did showcase that F1 is willing to try new formats to ensure fans get as much F1 content during the race weekends. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new race format and whether F1 should keep or revert to the regular style of race weekends. In 1982, about twenty Black journalists quit their jobs at American networks, banded together under the name Jacaranda Nigeria Limited, and flew to Nigeria, where they would work under the country's newly elected president to revamp a state-funded journalism network. On today's episode of the Kicker, Feven Merid, a Columbia Journalism Review staff writer, tells their story. She explains the many unforeseen challenges Jacaranda's journalists faced — the Nigerian government's interference in their reporting, the lack of proper training and resources, the confusion over their racial identity — and, ultimately, how the problems they went to Nigeria to escape never really disappeared.
