Why your gut health matters. How to eliminate protein farts. Why paying more for a product is worth it. What are superfoods really? All of these, plus many more questions, are answered on the podcast today. Jacqueline Smith grew up in the Fitness Industry. She was a full-time mom for many years and homeschooled her 5 children. She helped her husband start his plumbing business over 20 years ago. Eventually, she ran for U.S. Congress in the First District of Utah. After leaving politics behind, she became a public speaker, worked for a motivational company, and co-authored her first book. That's when E3 Energy Cubes was born in her mind. Tired of eating healthy foods that tasted horrible or just finding things that claimed health and really didn't have good quality ingredients, she and a former business partner got busy and learned all about nutrition, energy, and the best way to combine them for optimal health benefits. https://www.facebook.com/E3EnergyCubes/ https://www.instagram.com/e3energycubes/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/e3energycubes https://www.pinterest.com/energycubes/ https://www.tiktok.com/@e3energycubes https://twitter.com/EnergyCubes

In this podcast we talk about his book  'Being With The Beings'. Essential reading for anyone with an interest in ET's and how to talk to them. This podcast opens with 'A Friendly Star',  a piece of music composed by Miguel. We are really excited to be in conversation with Miguel as we have many links in common and take a keen interest in his important work.  We first came across Miguel a while ago when I was strongly drawn to make contact with Rob Gauthier, the ET  Whisperer.  Miguels name came up as we researched Rob's work.  Then in recent weeks, we have been hearing his name a lot in our network. We pay attention to synchronicities.  For example, previous podcast guests Rebecca Hardcastle-Wright and Jacqueline Smith mentioned Miguel. So we felt it was high time for us to connect. He now makes music full time as ‘Sokamiru' and has just released a second album, titled Into Galactic.  We really enjoy Miguels music and you can hear the rest of the album by following the link below. original music by:  https://www.sokamiru.com https://www.miguelmendonca.comhttps://sokamiru.bandcamp.com/releaseshttps://www.youtube.com/c/Sokamiru/videosfind: Off World Link and your own non-physical potential  Off World Linksupport: If you enjoyed listening to the podcast and feel that you'd like to support us,please follow this link: ko-fiSupport the show

E9: Applying Jesus to Spiritual Growth - Hitting Walls with Jacqueline Smith In our final episode of this season, we welcome friend, ministry partner and licensed therapist Jaqueline Smith to the podcast to discuss what it means to hit a wall, what that looks like and how Jesus handled it - so we can to. About Jacqueline Smith, LPCA After Jacqueline completed her Master of Arts in Counseling in 2016, she dove into clinical training and experience, ensuring she would be prepared to work with clients from childhood through their senior years with knowledge and skills to support her work. She is one of very few clinicians holding triple licensure – as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and also as a fully licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She continues to work and train at the esteemed Houston Galveston Institute, providing school based services to students in the greater Houston community, and has benefited from the ongoing educational opportunities HGI is well known for. Specifically, she has learned collaborative dialogic processes, and so adopts a collaborative stance with all of her clients, working alongside them to find solutions to their problems and engage the internal and external resources they have available. Jacqueline is talented in her clinical work with more than only students. She has worked with adults engaged with child protective services, helping them overcome substance use difficulties and learn to lead productive, satisfying lives that best support their important relationships with children and other family members. She has also worked with clients in inpatient substance use facilities, supporting clients with substance use and co-ocurring disorders in their journeys of recovery. Applying Jesus is hosted and produced by Amy Vogel, Director of Spiritual Growth for Upper Room Heights and our Technical Director is Xach Blunt. We record at the Chapelwood UMC Digital Studio in Houston, TX. We hope something you heard today deepened your faith, opened your eyes and led you to not only knowing God in a more expansive way, but shifts how you connect, especially with those who are easy to overlook. To find out more about Amy and our church community, go to www.urheights.com or find us on Facebook, Instagram & Youtube. Remember we love you – and there is nothing you can do about it!

Jacqueline Smith knew that she didn’t want to have a big loan on her first house. The way she solved the problem: buy a foreclosed home and do a live in flip! It worked out so well, that she later decided to do it again, on her second home. Her and her husband then had the idea to go at it full time.Even during COVID-19, Jacqueline and her husband have 4 flips in the making, and are looking to add more when deals pop up. She’s been through a lot in her short flipping career, from a tornado coming through a house she was working on, to builder tools being stolen while they were housed on site. This only made Jacqueline find better and more efficient ways to do her flipping. Many of the deals Jacqueline has worked on have come from realtors and investors she’s met through organizations like BiggerPockets and her local REIA. She strongly urges any new investor to join their local real estate groups, talk to investors, and present deals to other experienced professionals when they have the ability to.Jacqueline’s husband now is able to work on their flips as his primary business, plus get paid for the labor! Even in a crazy year like 2020, Jacqueline and her team have decided to go bigger, when many other investors were holding back.In This Episode We Cover:How to find foreclosed homes that are perfect for flipsThe importance of building equity in order to fund your future dealsHow to stop “analysis paralysis” from creeping inWhy you should attend meetups and networking eventsHow to introduce yourself to other real estate professionals, whether you’re at a meetup or just getting coffeeWhat to look for in a partner, especially if you’re new to flippingWhether or not to put in an “escalation clause” when submitting an offerWhy you should always have security cameras on siteAnd SO much more!Links from the ShowReal Estate Rookie Facebook GroupAshley's InstagramTony's InstagramHubzuMike Butler's WebsiteBiggerPockets ForumsBiggerPockets MeetupsDave RamseyDISC ProfileQuickbooksSecurity National Mortgage CompanyRookie Podcast 27: 5 Doors by Using Seller Financing for the First Time with Aaron ChapmanDelayed financing highlights from Jacqueline's Friend at SNBJacqueline's Excel SpreadsheetCheck the full show notes here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/rookie43

Current conservative estimates put the number of seafarers stranded on board ships between 300,000. COVID-19 restrictions have meant that many ports' ship operators are unwilling or unable to allow crew to come ashore, resulting in an ever-increasing numbers of crew overdue for relief but unable to be repatriated. In this episode, IHRB's Francesca Fairbairn speaks to Jacqueline Smith, Maritime Coordinator at the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF). Their conversation covers the urgent need for governments to address the seafarers' humanitarian crisis, and for companies - be they cargo owners, charterers, or ship owners and operators themselves – to use their leverage to ensure this vast, vital, but often invisible workforce is protected, prioritised, and given safe passage home.

Welcome to Episode 68 of Building My Legacy. In this podcast, we talk with life coach Jacqueline Smith who has worked extensively with women who are high achievers. With a background in psychology and behavioral science, Jacqueline has always been fascinated with why people behave in ways that aren’t consistent with their goals … and why achieving a goal doesn’t always provide satisfaction or fulfillment. “As we move closer to what we say we want, we just set bigger and bigger goals for ourselves,” Jacqueline explains. “It’s like we moved the goalposts.”Our discussion is very timely in today’s environment with COVID-19 forcing more people to work virtually from home. As workers – especially women – have become more connected with their families, they’re beginning to rethink their work/life balance and how it’s okay if everything isn’t perfect. That’s an important part of building your legacy, too. You want to look back and enjoy what you’ve accomplished, but, equally important, make sure you took time to celebrate your work along the way.So if you want to know:– Why you need to love what you’re doing – not just what it will help you achieve– The important role enthusiasm and curiosity play in productivity– Why self-criticism isn’t a driver of success– How the stories you tell yourself shape your reality– Why leaders need to provide physical and psychological safety to employees returning to the office About Jacqueline SmithJacqueline Smith, a certified life coach, is working on her doctorate in clinical psychology at Rutgers University. Cracking the procrastination code requires action. With so many people running full speed ahead with their goals for 2020, there are many who have said that they would like to publish a book this year. Many come up against some areas of fear and procrastination that have held them back from publishing that book or even starting that business. I get it. Many of you know that my first book took eight years to publish. Jacqueline shares why she encourages people to go after their goals and not wait. After the sudden passing of her daughter, she is on a mission to help people publish their books and tell their stories. Is that you? Have you been holding onto your story?Jacqueline J. Smith is an author, publisher, publicist, consultant, and Human Resources professional. Jacqueline started her career in Human Resources which is also where she honed her master strategist skills. Late Summer 2018, the opportunity to write a book and tap into her creative side was presented. Never considering herself to be the creative type, she felt the fear, took the plunge, and became an author. This new-found creativity coupled with her strategic background was the perfect mix for the services provided by LSW Media Group. After publishing her first book “You Have the Power: Turn Your Knowledge into a Lucrative HR Consulting Practice”, clients started seeking her out for her expertise in helping them publish as well. The success of that book led to the opportunity to host the “You Have the Power” radio show. From there, the podcast “Cast Iron Skillet Chronicles” was born to inspire other women of a certain age to pursue their passion and purpose in the midst of what may be going on around them. She is now able to impact so many more lives with her message of empowerment, encouragement, and inspiration.Jacqueline currently owns LSW Media Group, LLC which publishes books, produces podcasts, provides publicity and promotion for authors, speakers, coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, and Ministry Leaders. When she is not changing the world, Jacqueline can be found connecting with her Aquarian roots near any body of water. On today's Midday Culture Connections with Dr. Sheri Parks: a conversation about believability, empathy and victimhood. Baltimore Police say that the murder of a Harford County Engineer, Jacqueline Smith late last year was not, as her husband claimed, committed by two panhandlers. Instead, the husband and his daughter are charged with the crime. The actor Jussie Smollett is facing felony charges for claiming that he was the victim of a violent attack in Chicago. Police there have brought to light evidence that the actor may have staged his own attack.Initially, we may have empathized with Smith and Smollett. But does our empathy actually get in the way of our making rational, moral decisions. Amid complaints of “fake news” and widespread distrust of police and public institutions, who can we believe?Dr. Sheri Parks is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She's the author of Fierce Angels: Living with a Legacy from the Sacred Dark Feminine to the Strong Black Woman. Dr. Parks is a regular contributor to this program, joining us on the first Tuesday of the month for Midday Culture Connections.

In late 2018, Baltimore, MD resident and good samaritan Jacqueline Smith was murdered as she made her way home one evening with her husband Keith and young daughter. Just as Smith was nearing her destination, she and Keith were approached by a man and woman holding a sign, asking for food for their baby.   At the urging of his wife who desperately wanted to help the impoverished couple, Keith Smith rolled down the front car windows to offer assistance. That's when the woman stabbed Jacqueline Smith to death and robbed her of her personal items. In a press conference asking for help in finding the murderer of his wife, Smith shared his grief as he urged people to be careful when approached by panhandlers on the street, saying, “The last thing I thought is that they would take my wife's life.” In a world where the war on kindness is ever present, how do women decide when it's safe to extend generosity without compromising safety? We'll layout safe-giving techniques, how to use your sixth sense to help identify danger, and how to be a warrior for kindness without putting yourself in harm's way. Want more inspiration? Donate to The Permaculture Podcast Online: via PayPal Venmo: @permaculturepodcast In this episode guest host David Bilbrey sits down with Jacqueline Smith, the founder of Central Grazing Company, to talk about her entry into the world of animal agriculture, after having no previous experience with farming or even family ties to a farm or the land. They then talk about Jacqueline's experience building up Central Grazing Company, using a slow money loan, into a regional farm to consumer business. They close with her mission of using animals, agriculture, and business to create regenerative ecosystems. Find out more about Jacqueline and her work at CentralGrazingCompany.com. In addition to a link to that, you'll also find information on slow money and other organizations and movements mentioned during the conversation in the resource section below. -- Visit our Partner: North Spore Mushroom Company for all of your mushroom needs. Also be sure to follow them on Instagram @northsporemushrooms for great mushroom growing tips and advice. -- I'm thankful that Jacqueline joined David for this conversation because of the way a bit of entrepreneurial spirit, a small initial investment, and a good bit of effort can create an ethical company that aims for social and planetary good. We don't have to follow the existing models or old ways of being. We can take inspiration to give it a shot, try something different, and maybe, just maybe, change our little piece of the world. I also always enjoy the conversation that David leads because of his interest in the intersection between permaculture, the land, and business, from his years studying our design discipline while working professionally in sales. How he asked questions like whether or not Jacqueline would want to take her company and make it a national brand, or keep it regional. Would they become an umbrella for others to work under, or simply as models to create other regional farm- to-consumer supply chains. How she became involved with and used slow money to build up Central Grazing Company. I compare that to how I would have spoken with Jacqueline, if I were in the host seat rather than David and how I imagine I would have focused more on her background and transitioning to farming, lessons learned from her first business, and how that influenced her ethical choices, like ensuring all the producers are animal welfare approved. David reminds me that we all have a voice and a perspective, and it is in dialog between ourselves, earth, other people, and the other-than-human, that a unique story arises. That by having the conversations, we elevate ourselves and the way we can communicate with one another, and live a richly rewarding life of interconnectedness.
