Devocional Quaresma Durante a ceia, Jesus pegou no pão, deu graças a Deus, partiu-o, deu-o aos seus discípulos e disse: «Tomem e comam. Isto é o meu corpo.» Depois pegou no cálice, deu graças a Deus, passou-o aos discípulos e disse: «Bebam todos dele, pois isto é o meu sangue, o sangue da aliança de Deus, derramado em favor de muitos para o perdão dos pecados. E digo-vos que não tornarei a beber vinho até ao dia em que beber convosco o vinho novo no reino de meu Pai.» Depois de entoarem os cânticos, foram para o Monte das Oliveiras. Mateus 26:26-30 Tendo crescido num ambiente religioso formal, a liturgia da ceia incluía os versículos que acabámos de ler. No domingo da ceia, o nosso pastor vestia uma batina mais elaborada. A sua voz ficava mais lírica do que o habitual quando lia os versículos. Pensando bem, na minha mente de criança de 8 anos, a ceia significava um culto mais longo e um almoço mais tardio (ai!). Brincadeiras à parte, depois de participar de várias ceias, às vezes elas se tornam mais um ritual. Mas quando olhamos para trás, para a primeira ceia que Jesus compartilhou com os Seus discípulos, vemos o quão poderosa ela foi. Jesus falou da Sua morte. Ele falou de quando o Seu corpo seria ferido e quebrado. Ele falou do Seu sangue sendo derramado. E então Ele deu graças. Jesus deu graças quando falou da Sua morte. Este é o nosso Deus. A Sua cruz é um convite de graça a um mundo ferido e desamparado. É por isso que a comunhão também é chamada de Eucaristia, que significa "ação de graças". Aceitamos o dom da Sua graça. Tudo o que fazemos em troca é expressar a nossa gratidão. Não precisamos de nos purificar. Não precisamos de fazer malabarismos. Não precisamos de trabalhar pela nossa salvação. A Última Ceia é uma grande lembrança de que tudo o que temos de fazer é receber este dom gratuito da salvação com um coração humilde e agradecido. A caminho de casa
 Será que alguma vez sinto que tenho de trabalhar pela minha salvação? O que me impede de simplesmente aceitar o dom gratuito de Jesus? Será que vejo a Ceia do Senhor como uma tarefa e um ritual ou vejo-a como uma poderosa lembrança da graça de Deus? Oração
 Senhor Jesus, às vezes fico imune à imensidão da Tua graça. Quando paro para refletir sobre a Última Ceia, fico impressionado com o facto de teres dado graças pelo pão e pelo vinho que representavam o Teu corpo e o Teu sangue. Obrigado pelo Teu sacrifício. É algo que nunca serei capaz de compreender totalmente, mas que recebo com um coração agradecido. Amém. Neste tempo, abrando o passo. Escolho caminhar com Jesus, mesmo quando o caminho aperta. Escuto o que Ele diz. Observo o que Ele faz. Entrego-Lhe as minhas resistências e os meus medos. Pergunto: onde preciso de parar hoje para caminhar contigo? O Evangelho de hoje faz-nos recordar o de domingo passado, quando celebrámos a festa do Batismo do Senhor. Agora, na versão de São João, voltamos ao mesmo acontecimento, mas com outro olhar. E pode surgir a pergunta: “Isto não se repete? Não está já dito?” A verdade é que o batismo não é apenas um episódio do passado; é uma realidade que se fez em nós e que continua a fazer-se em nós. Se pensássemos numa prova de ciclismo, como a Volta a Portugal, diríamos que é uma “etapa de rolar”: parece que não decide nada, parece apenas para cumprir. Na liturgia, poderíamos achar que o essencial são os tempos “roxos” da Quaresma e os tempos “brancos” do Natal e da Páscoa. E é verdade que esses tempos são belíssimos e muito intensos. Mas o Tempo Comum é decisivo, porque é no comum do dia a dia que nós nos identificamos, ou não, com o Senhor Jesus. Nos tempos fortes, tudo nos desperta e nos recorda Deus; no comum, distraímo-nos com mais facilidade.Por isso, hoje, recordar o batismo é importante. Não para o ver como uma obrigação imposta, mas como um projeto de vida sonhado e querido por Deus. A primeira leitura diz-o com força: “Tu és o meu servo, em ti manifestarei a minha glória.” E ainda: “Ele formou-me desde o seio materno.” Nós fomos escolhidos por Deus não por sermos melhores, nem por termos méritos especiais, mas porque Ele quis, porque nos amou desde sempre, porque nunca deixa de tomar a iniciativa. E depois nós respondemos. Cantámos no salmo: “Eu venho, Senhor, para fazer a vossa vontade.” E, se me permitem, tantas vezes eu sinto vontade de mudar uma palavra e dizer: “Eu venho, Senhor, para fazer a nossa vontade.” Não porque deixemos de seguir Deus, mas porque a conversão é precisamente este processo: deixar que a vontade de Deus se torne também a nossa vontade. Aquilo que Deus nos pede e sonha para nós é sempre maior e mais realizador do que aquilo que, sozinhos, conseguimos desejar.É neste contexto que a segunda leitura, no início da carta de São Paulo aos Coríntios, faz todo o sentido. Paulo saúda a comunidade com palavras que a liturgia conserva: “A graça e a paz de Deus, nosso Pai, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo estejam convosco.” Reparemos na ordem: a graça vem primeiro. O amor de Deus vem antes de tudo. É sempre Deus quem dá o primeiro passo. E João aponta para Jesus e diz: “Eis o Cordeiro de Deus.” Cordeiro de Deus lembra-nos o Cordeiro Pascal: a Páscoa, a libertação, a alegria de uma vida nova, plena.E a paz, para nós, não é apenas ausência de conflitos. Isso é pouco. Paz é harmonia interior: comigo, com os outros e com Deus. É a consequência da ação de Deus na nossa vida. Por isso somos capazes de viver tendencialmente em paz: aceitando quem somos, compreendendo a complexidade do mundo e até as feridas que por vezes nos chegam através dos outros, mas amando mesmo assim ao estilo de Deus, construindo pontes e laços.São Paulo diz ainda: “Aos que foram santificados em Cristo, chamados à santidade.” A santidade não é privilégio de alguns; é vocação de todos. Em Cristo, somos santos e, ao mesmo tempo, estamos a caminho de o ser de forma concreta. E assim se cumpre a promessa: “Vou fazer de ti a luz das nações.” Tornamo-nos luz quando somos homens e mulheres de paz, moldados pela graça de Deus, levando aos lugares onde estamos uma presença mais pascal, mais reconciliada e mais humana.

Uma das características do ministério do Senhor Jesus foi tornar explicita a ação do inimigo de nossas almas e sua missão foi destruir as suas obras! A questão é que seu império continua ativo, escravizando a humanidade. Estamos debaixo da proteção Senhor, mas podemos permitir que essas forças malignas encontrem liberdade para atuar em nossas vidas! Como isto acontece? Em que área do nosso ser ele pode atuar? 

Uma das parábolas do Senhor Jesus mais incisivas é a do Trigo e do Joio! Ele divide a humanidade em dois grupos: Os Filhos do Reino e os Filhos do Maligno, qual será o destino deles? É possível um joio virar trigo e vice-versa? O que Deus exige dos Filhos do Reino? Trata-se de uma parábola fundamental para meditarmos nesse início de um novo ano!

devocional Efésios Ouvi falar da vossa fé no Senhor Jesus e do vosso amor para com todos os santos. Por isso, não me canso de dar graças a Deus a vosso respeito e de vos lembrar nas minhas orações. Efésios 1.15-16 De um cristão, na verdadeira acepção da palavra, espera-se fidelidade a Cristo e amor pelo próximo. Torna-se conhecido não só pela forma como se dispõe a caminhar tão próximo de Jesus que ouve cada sussurro Seu, mas também como extravasa afecto fraternal. Muito cuidado, pois, com o apego a regras que enxotam pessoas. Há que tomar atenção para que a lealdade doutrinária que se apregoa de peito feito não descambe na ostracização de quem pensa de maneira diferente. Fique-se em alerta máximo quando na presunção de justiça se desprezam aqueles que rotulamos de menos fiáveis. Afixe-se na mente e no coração que o amor por Jesus se espelha no modo como interagimos com os nossos semelhantes. Não há comunidade cristã que se preze, por mais ortodoxa que seja a sua declaração de fé, por mais pura que seja a sua teologia, por mais estruturada que seja a sua liturgia, que possa caracterizar-se por uma ausência de “amor para com todos os santos.” Os seguidores de Jesus são a Sua cara chapada, como tal, devem amar-se como por Ele são amados. devocional Efésios Bendito seja Deus, Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus, que nos encheu de bênçãos espirituais em Cristo, nos céus. Pois, antes de o mundo existir, ele escolheu-nos para juntamente com Cristo sermos santos e irrepreensíveis e vivermos diante dele em amor. Efésios 1.3-4 Maravilho-me sempre que penso no amor de Deus por mim. Ter-me escolhido, sem que nada de atractivo houvesse em mim, deixa-me profundamente comovido. O espanto não foi eu tê-l'O desejado na minha vida, mas Ele fazer questão de me ter na Sua equipa. Sempre que penso nisto acabo por ter uma de duas reacções: Gritar de alegria ou ficar em agradecido silêncio. Qualquer delas retrata bem o quanto me sinto privilegiado por Deus se ter abeirado de mim e me ter chamado para Si. É que ainda por cima fê-lo para me encher de mimos. Além de me ter estendido o Seu perdão, agraciou-me com “todas as bênçãos espirituais nos lugares celestiais em Cristo”. Sim, Deus não fez por menos. O Seu plano visou revestir-me dos traços do carácter de Cristo. Fui separado para agir de forma distinta e não ordinária. Sei que Deus me elegeu para que me reja segundo a Sua bitola: O amor. Vivo, pois, para Lhe agradar desde os detalhes aos “pormaiores”. Esta palavra aparece uma única vez na Bíblia, mas carrega um ensinamento profundo para os nossos dias.Fascínio é aquilo que encanta, que brilha aos olhos e prende a atenção, como se a pessoa estivesse hipnotizada.Hoje, muitos vivem fascinados por ídolos musicais, atores, jogadores de futebol, celebridades ou até por ideais que parecem inofensivos. Mas somente Deus, o Senhor Jesus, deve nos fascinar, porque Ele jamais nos conduzirá ao mal.Tenha cuidado! O fascínio do mundo tem desviado muitas almas para caminhos que elas nunca imaginaram percorrer.

Louvado seja Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Para sempre seja louvado.No 4º Domingo do Advento, somos convidados a contemplar a grande promessa de Deus, anunciada pelos profetas e realizada plenamente em Jesus Cristo. Às portas do Natal, a liturgia nos conduz ao mistério da Encarnação, vivido na fé e na obediência de Maria e José, sinais de confiança total na vontade divina.Neste domingo, ao acendermos a vela branca da Coroa do Advento, proclamamos que Cristo é nossa paz, nossa luz e nossa esperança. Celebramos também, de modo especial, todos os missionários e missionárias, que levam a Boa Nova ao mundo com coragem, serviço e amor.Que esta Eucaristia renove nossa fé, fortaleça nossa esperança e nos prepare para acolher o Senhor que vem habitar entre nós.

TEMPO DE REFLETIR 01620 – 21 de dezembro de 2025 Apocalipse 22:6 – Estas palavras são fiéis e verdadeiras. O Senhor, o Deus dos espíritos dos profetas, enviou Seu anjo para mostrar aos Seus servos as coisas que em breve devem acontecer. Estas palavras seguem imediatamente a visão de João, da Nova Terra. Enquanto esteve em Patmos ele aprendeu quão bem as coisas poderiam ir e quão mal também poderiam ir. Tinha visto o esplêndido início do evangelho em Jerusalém. Em seguida tinha visto as garras de ferro de Roma esmagarem a vida das igrejas e dos crentes. Domiciano reinava e procurou o aniquilamento dos perturbadores cristãos. De dentro da igreja novas ameaças à fé assaltavam o verdadeiro evangelho. O cativeiro em Patmos trouxe visões que tomavam o trauma e desencorajamentos de seus dias e os projetavam na arena cósmica. O que suas igrejas estavam sofrendo, o tempo traria sobre a Igreja como um todo. Contudo, as mesmas visões traziam esperança e alegria. As vastas multidões ao redor do trono, os cânticos de vitórias sobre o mar de vidro, o Cordeiro sobre o Monte de Sião mostravam-lhe quão temporárias eram a presente crise e dificuldade. Deus conduziria à vitória final e ele partilharia daquele triunfo. João aprendeu que o destino final do mundo não dependia de sua própria condição ou da situação difícil das igrejas que ele amava. Todavia, ele também aprendeu que os perseguidos, os apóstatas e os fiéis estão todos projetados na tela do futuro. Perseguição como em Pérgamo é a sorte da igreja em todos os tempos. A apostasia, vista tão claramente em Tiatira tinha assumido dimensões cósmicas. Fidelidade como a de Filadélfia salvaria um povo para o reino. Sabia quão preciosa era a comunhão que ele e outros haviam partilhado com Jesus. As visões da Nova Jerusalém tomavam essa íntima e doce comunhão e faziam dela o governo da Nova Terra. A morte e a enfermidade tinham fugido de diante do Filho de Deus. Desapareceriam da Terra para sempre. João poderia estar surpreso de que ainda aguardamos as coisas que em breve devem acontecer. Mas ele não estaria surpreso ante a alegria que enche o nosso coração ao pensarmos no futuro que Deus tem para nós. Ele se lembraria da comunhão com Jesus. Lembrar-se-ia da visão do futuro.  E nos estimularia a orar: “Vem, Senhor Jesus!” Vamos fazer isso agora? Pai, ansiamos pela volta de Cristo Jesus! A Bíblia é o relato da obra redentora que o Criador está realizado para restaurar suas criaturas caídas, os seres humanos. Deus, o Criador, que é um pai amoroso, vem ao encontro dos homens e os convida para atender à sua voz e experimentar uma nova vida que somente ele pode dar. Foi para encontrar e salvar os homens que o Senhor Jesus veio ao mundo e anunciou o amor de Deus e conclamou os homens a crerem em sua palavra e segui-lo. Ouça e atenda ao convite amoroso do Senhor e tenha vida por meio dele.

Ele sempre vem.E quando Deus chega, nada permanece igual.Vem, Senhor Jesus!

Como falamos anteriormente, a oração mais difícil da Bíblia foi feita pelo Senhor Jesus no Getsêmani:“Não seja como eu quero, mas como Tu queres.” (Mt 26:39)Essa oração enfrenta e resolve o maior inimigo do ser humano, que também é o melhor amigo do diabo. Quando esses dois “melhores amigos” se unem, é ladeira abaixo…Assista com atenção e aprenda como neutralizar tudo aquilo que tenta sabotar a sua fé e seguir a vontade de Deus, que é boa, perfeita e agradável.

A oração feita pelo Senhor Jesus no Getsêmani, revela o maior combate que existe: a nossa vontade contra a vontade de Deus.A verdade é que, muitas vezes, aquilo que desejamos nos prejudica. Por isso, é essencial entregar tudo a Deus e permitir que a vontade d'Ele prevaleça.E aqui fica o desafio:Será que você consegue fazer essa oração com sinceridade — assim como Jesus fez?

Quando voltou a Nazaré, Jesus foi desprezado pelos próprios familiares. A familiaridade gerou incredulidade, e Ele pôde fazer poucos milagres ali. A lição é clara: diante da rejeição, Jesus seguiu para quem estava disposto a crer.Se você tem sido rejeitado até pelos da sua própria casa, assista com atenção e aprenda lições valiosas com o Senhor Jesus.

Existe um grupo de pessoas que parece que, onde quer que vá, os problemas — principalmente nos relacionamentos — vão atrás dela.Ela se decepciona com todos, se magoa facilmente e não consegue entender como as pessoas falham tanto com ela.Assista a este vídeo e descubra o que o Senhor Jesus quis dizer para esse tipo de pessoa.
