Today we're discussing the new EES (Entry/Exit System) that you will most likely encounter on your trip to Europe this year. Likewise, we're also looking at the court case that recently made it big in the headlines, establishing the fact that Italians (and people in Italy) have no "right" to tap water at a restaurant. Thankfully, we're both no longer as sick as we were, so hopefully this episode is more cohesive sounding! You can join our Patreon for free! Want a shout out on the podcast? In this eye-opening conversation, Nelson McIlveen — founder and CEO of Sentry H2O — shares how a personal health crisis and heartbreaking experiences with toxic tap water led him to build one of the most effective whole-house water filtration systems in America. With over 25 years in manufacturing and a passion for clean water, Nelson combined German water technology with American engineering to create the Sentry Wellness System — a solution that doesn't just filter out harmful contaminants like fluoride, heavy metals, VOCs, and pharmaceuticals… it actually remineralizes your water with the essential minerals your body needs. Nelson opens up about why most popular water filters fall short, how he's helped families in water-crisis communities like East Palestine, Ohio, and why he believes clean water is one of the most powerful (and overlooked) steps you can take for your family's long-term health. Whether you're concerned about what's coming out of your faucet or you want to learn how to protect your home without spending thousands on underperforming systems, this episode delivers practical, no-fluff advice from a true water expert. Tune in to discover why Nelson's mission is so much bigger than just selling filters — it's about giving people their health back, one glass of water at a time.

Tap water isn't safe either. And almost nobody actually knows what's in either one. There are over 90 regulated contaminants in municipal tap water — and another 100+ that are completely unregulated. Bottled water is regulated by the FDA, which holds it to less stringent standards than what your city requires for tap. And research shows that people who rely on bottled water ingest roughly 90,000 more microplastics per year — coming straight from the plastic bottle itself. Dr. G ran the investigation so you know exactly where to put your money and what to stop buying immediately. In this episode, you'll find out: • The 5 categories of contaminants hiding in your water right now — disinfection byproducts, PFAS forever chemicals, heavy metals, microplastics, and pharmaceuticals — and why the legal limit is not the same as safe • Which bottled water brands actually passed transparency testing and which ones are just repackaged tap water in plastic • The best filtration systems at every budget — from under $100 pitchers to countertop reverse osmosis — and what each one actually removes You drink water every single day. Enjoying the content? Let us know your feedback!Today's episode is one of those stories that really does hit home. Not a bank breach. Not some government leak. I want to talk about the water coming out of your tap.On March 14th, 2026, hackers dropped ransomware on a water treatment plant in Minot, North Dakota. Staff walked in that morning, saw a ransom note sitting on a server screen, and had to unplug the whole thing. For the next sixteen hours, plant operators were physically walking through the facility, reading gauges by hand — old school, the way it was done decades ago — while the FBI got the call. The city says the water stayed safe. Nobody got sick. But this incident ripped the cover off a problem the cybersecurity community has been warning about for years: water infrastructure is dangerously exposed. And most people have no idea.Today I want to unpack what happened in Minot, why water utilities are such soft targets, what SCADA systems actually are and why they are so difficult to defend, and what defenders and regulators are doing — and should be doing — about all of this.- https://therecord.media: North Dakota Ransomware Water Plant- https://www.cisa.gov: CISA — Adapting Zero Trust Principles to Operational TechnologyBe sure to subscribe! You could have elevated levels of contaminants like uranium or arsenic in your drinking water—and not know it. Many of these compounds are colorless, odorless, and undetectable without testing.Johnny Pujol is a water chemist and the founder of Tap Score, a drinking water testing platform supported by a network of roughly 270 specialized laboratories. His path from electrochemistry research to consumer water testing was driven by a simple realization: the chemistry inside what looks like a clear glass of water is far more complex than most people realize. In this episode, Dr. Dominic D'Agostino and Johnny break down what's actually in drinking water, how regulatory standards are set, and where they may lag behind emerging research. They also discuss how chronic exposure to certain contaminants may intersect with metabolic health and long-term disease risk.Johnny also shares insights from Tap Score's forthcoming research comparing contaminant profiles in unfiltered tap water, bottled water, and filtered tap water.Questions Answered in This Episode:Why does the EPA action level for lead differ from the ideal target of zero? Can certain filtration systems introduce unintended issues, like microbial growth, if not properly maintained? How can environmental factors like rainfall impact private well water quality? What's the difference between a "first draw" sample and a "representative" sample, and why does it matter? Is the health risk from showering in contaminated water meaningful compared to drinking it?Why do some water tests cost $600 to $800 while others cost a fraction of that?Understanding your drinking water starts with recognizing the difference between what's legally permitted and what may be considered optimal from a health perspective. This conversation explores that gap, and what individuals can do to better assess their own water quality.Learn more here: https://mytapscore.com/Special thanks to the sponsors of this episode:✅ Troscriptions – Get 10% off your first order with code METABOLICLINK here.✅ Toups and Co – Get 15% off your first order with code METABOLIC here.✅ iRestore – Get a huge discount on the Elite and the Illumina bundle with the code LINK here.✅ MudWtr – Get up to 43% off + free shipping and a free rechargeable frother with code METABOLICLINK here.In every episode of The Metabolic Link, we'll uncover the very latest research on metabolic health and therapy. As health nuts, we obsess over calories, chemicals and sunlight, but we rarely think about two things we consume more than anything else on earth: air and water. This is Part 2 of a two part series on clean air and clean water, and it may change how you look at every glass you drink, every meal you cook, and every shower you take. Because our modern water is no longer natural. Municipal/city water systems disinfect water just enough to prevent infectious disease, but not enough to protect you from heavy metals, forever chemicals (PFAS), pharmaceutical residues, pesticides, microplastics, and industrial runoff. Add aging infrastructure, lead pipes, agricultural contamination, and chemical disinfectants like chlorine and chloramines, and what reaches your tap is often far from clean. Even worse, contaminants don't boil out - meaning the water you cook with can concentrate toxins rather than remove them. And because your skin is your largest organ, you're absorbing these chemicals not just when you drink water, but when you shower and bathe. In other words, we no longer live in environments our biology was designed for. We drink, cook, and bathe in chemically treated water, and then wonder why inflammation, hormone disruption, fertility issues, neurological disease, and chronic illness are exploding. This episode breaks down what's actually in your water, where it comes from, why the system is broken, and what you can realistically do about it TOPICS DISCUSSED: Why modern tap water is contaminated, even when it meets "safety" standards The most common toxins found in drinking water (PFAS, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, microplastics) Why boiling water does not remove contaminants and can make things worse How water infrastructure, lead pipes, and industrial runoff pollute your supply The hidden health impact of chlorine and chloramines on the gut, skin, thyroid, and immune system Why showering in unfiltered water can be as harmful as drinking it How microplastics enter the body through bottled water, cans, and hot-filled plastics The truth about bottled water vs. filtered water Which water filtration methods work and which are mostly a waste of money Why reverse osmosis is considered the gold standard for water purification How to remineralize purified water safely and intelligently How to check what's actually in your local water supply Why clean water is a foundational step in healing not an optional upgrade More from AquaTru CLICK HERE to get big discounts on your AquaTru Website: aquatruwater.com Leave us a Review: https://www.reversablepod.com/review Need help with your gut? Show Notes Episode 515: Sodas In Spaaaaace! This week Host Dave Bledsoe got liquored up on orange flavored Metamucil and vodka and got kicked out of a retirement village bingo game. (Again) On the show this week we head back to 1985 when the Cola Wars took off for low orbit because Coke and Pepsi had money to burn. Along the way we learn that Dave never stood a chance at NASA. (They didn't make space suits in 5XL) Then we dive right into what the first astronauts ate in space. (Goo, they ate goo.) Then we head back down to the Earth where a Coca Cola executive had an idea that was out of this world, and how it turned into yet another vicious skirmish in the long running and increasingly bitter “cola wars”. We learn how Coke spent a quarter of a million dollars and Pepsi opened their medicine cabinet. Finally we discover why sodas crashed and burned like a solid rocket booster in chilly weather. (Too soon?). Our Sponsor this week is Tap Water, if you're thirsty get some. We open the show with Coke in space and close with astronaut Chris Hadfield singing out sitting in a tin can. But this isn't just about better hydration...it's about frequency, intention, and consciousness.Michael breaks down the science of water memory, the link between thoughts and physical well-being, and how you can program your water to manifest your desired reality. In today's episode of Beautifully Broken, I chat with water advocate Helen Christoni about what's really flowing through American pipes—and how easy it can be to switch from suspicion to solution. Together we unpack the toxin-laden cocktail in most tap water (think microplastics, PFAS, arsenic, chlorine, chloramines, lead, drug residue), and explore how municipalities manage—but don't eliminate—contamination.Helen explains the difference between pitcher filters, sink/fridge filters, reverse osmosis, distillers, and full home systems—emphasizing NSF certifications, tank maintenance, remineralization, and how you can both detox and hydrate safely. We also dive into the brand‑new AquaTrue shower filter, because what you absorb on your skin matters as much as what you drink. If clarity, energy, beauty, or toile health are your goals, this episode arms you with actionable, science‑based tools to upgrade your water—and protect your cells at the source.Episode Highlights[03:22] Helen Christoni's journey from beauty entrepreneur to clean water advocate[06:52] What's really in your tap water: PFAS, pharmaceuticals, arsenic, chlorine, lead[09:47] Why municipal treatment doesn't protect you—and the risk of infrastructure decay[17:38] Pitcher vs. sink vs. RO vs. distillation: What works, what doesn't[23:57] AquaTru's unique 4-stage filtration process explained[28:16] The first AquaTru shower filter: why it matters for your skin, lungs, and lymph[39:52] How to scale your water solution: from budget filters to full home systems[46:15] The power of clean water during illness, recovery, and peak performance[47:58] Helen's beautifully broken moment—and how stillness helps her healLINKS & RESOURCESBuy AquaTrue Water Filters: http://aquatruwater.com/beautifullybrokenBEAM Minerals: http://beamminerals.com/beautifullybrokenUse Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKEN for discountSilver Biotics: https://silverbiotics.com/Use Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKEN for discount CONNECT WITH FREDDIEWork with Me: https://www.beautifullybroken.world/biological-blueprintWebsite and Store: (http://www.beautifullybroken.world) Instagram: (https://www.instagram.com/beautifullybroken.world/) YouTube: (https://www.youtube.com/@BeautifullyBrokenWorld)

Everything's bigger in Texas — including the laughs, confessions, and jaw-dropping stories on this outrageous new episode of Undressed with Pol' and Patrik, recorded live from the Warwick in Dallas with reality royalty LeeAnne Locken! Known for her fiery presence on The Real Housewives of Dallas, LeeAnne wastes no time diving into the drama — and neither do your fabulous hosts, Pol' and Patrik. From her obsession with espresso to her absolute ban on Dallas tap water, LeeAnne makes her diva standards hilariously clear — and throws major shade at Patrik's month-old plastic bottle habit. The water wars quickly turn into a full-blown roast as the trio trades stories about recycled germs, nightstand bottles, and who really drinks what at dinner. But the biggest surprise? LeeAnne reveals her gritty childhood spent traveling with the carnival — yes, the kind with rigged games, sketchy carnies, and duck pond booths. By age 11, she was a business-owning “carny queen” making bank off rigged soda bottle tosses and traveling from city to city with her mom. She shares chilling and hilarious tales of life behind the games, including a near-miss with a rattlesnake, and how cussing saved her life (and finally got her dad's attention). The journey continues from carnival chaos to the glitzy pageant world as LeeAnne shares how she became Miss Arizona USA, nearly competed alongside Shanna Moakler, and even caught the judging eye of Pol' back in the day. She opens up about representing Arizona during the Guy Rex era, training at the famed Robert Black Agency, and crossing over into the modeling world. Reality TV fans get an inside peek at LeeAnne's early reality stints, including She's Got the Look on the Style Network, where she was judged by Beverly Johnson and hosted by Kim Alexis. Her time on Star Search with Ed McMahon is equally juicy — and personal for Pol', who designed winning gowns for that very show. And just when you think it couldn't get any juicier, Pol' performs his signature Armenian coffee reading for LeeAnne — and the revelations are deep. From finally feeling peace in her life to someone from her past re-entering her orbit, LeeAnne reflects on letting go, forgiveness, and what it means to find new purpose. She opens up about her close relationship with her late grandmother, the Bible she keeps beside her bed, and her dreams that still connect them. We also get heartfelt moments about DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS), where LeeAnne has been a passionate contributor and advocate. She encourages listeners to support this meaningful cause — and we learn Pol' is designing a custom denim jacket for this year's gala! The episode wraps with tequila toasts, spiritual clarity, and of course, nonstop shade and sass — just the way we like it.
