A housewarming party brings a chilling visit from a long-forgotten guest. Voiced by Matt Morrison, Nick Jackson, Wade Gemar, Maren Engel, and Mo Hurley. Recorded live for Midtown Coffee Radio Hour.
A disgraced weatherman terrorizes a television station. Voiced by Dave Holly, Matt Morrison, Nick Jackson, Wade Gemar, Maren Engel, Martha Winklepleck, and Mo Hurley. Recorded live for Midtown Coffee Radio Hour.
Musically minded Matt Morrison has a full calendar as usual. Olde Towne DInner Theatre Artistic Director John Boe's calendar inlcudes shows, rehearsals, set building, etc.
Dennis is joined by singer-actor David Burnham to talk about his new cabaret show Burnham Sings Buble, in which he interprets the music of Michael Buble, singing hits like "Home" and "Everything" along with more obscure Buble gems. David also talks about his previous touring show, a tribute Tom Jones, which, in true Tom Jones fashion, featured pants so tight David almost passed out. David also talks about his career in musical theater, from being plucked from nowhere at 19 to take over for Donny Osmond in the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, to appearing in the original cast of Light in the Piazza to finally getting to play Fiero in Wicked on Broadway after originating the role in the workshop productions and being passed over for the original Broadway cast. Other topics include: the moment he first realized he could sing, why the Elvis song "Blue Christmas" takes him back to a sixth grade kiss with a girl in the Sunday School room, the song that makes him emotional every time he sings it, the rude awakening he got after finishing the Joseph tour when couldn't get arrested in New York, having to go on as Matt Morrison's understudy in Piazza on opening weekend and not even knowing the blocking and that time the crazy heckler in the front row of Joseph turned out to be Donny Osmond. https://www.davidburnham.com/

Joining Benny on episode 62 is Matt Morrison. Matt was in the Army reserves, deployed in Iraq, where his unit was focused on construction & engineering, which has paid off for him in his professional life and his side hustles. Matt & Benny spend a lot of time on the topic of mental health, and how that's played a role in both of their professional careers and personal lives. Matt shares some insightful stories on how he has adapted to living with depression – and how he has learned to channel it and not let it derail him. In 2015, Matt purchased a book after seeing it jumping off the shelf to him each time that he visited the airport bookstore. He finally listened to that calling and bought it, and that instinct of following a calling to a book began a new shift in Matt, where he learned to listen to the self-discovery moments that he finds in the world around him. Matt realized that his new dawning is derived from the notion of how in his past he has always said “no” to himself, and “yes” to other people. The paradigm shift of putting his focus on himself first has created a new awakening that has set the foundation of his current path. The Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER) is very unique in that it is multi-national, public-private and bi-partisan in how it is organized and operates on a day-to-day basis. One organizational element of PNWER is its Center for Regional Disaster Resilience (CRDR) [Note: the Disaster Zone Podcast Host, Eric Holdeman is the Director]. In this podcast Matt Morrison, the Executive Director of PNWER is interviewed about how PNWER is organized and then we transition to talking about public private partnerships, critical infrastructures and how to keep those relationships functional. During the podcast we also touched on the Regional Consortium Coordinating Council (RC3) and how it functions at the national level. This episode is sponsored by Bent Ear Solutions which offers comprehensive capabilities and deep industry knowledge necessary to help you solve the most complex issues of your organization. We advise public and private organizations on an all-inclusive approach to disaster preparedness that addresses governance, planning, operational procedures, technology implementation, training, and exercises in order to achieve a successful and sustainable program.
In part one of our series, “Why church?” Pastor Matt Morrison teaches us about church history, gives us some context for the once-every-500-years-church-reform moment we're finding ourselves in, and helps us to imagine (and maybe even help create!) a more vital, faithful, and inclusive church even in the midst of an ever-changing world.Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/sonda/your-own-worldLicense code: 1WX6GFMRRZEGMYVC
When it comes to turbo exhaust manifolds, it seems like there are a lot of contradictory opinions out there about runner diameters and lengths, split versus undivided, and everything in between… So who's right and who's wrong? On this episode of the High Performance Academy Tuned In podcast, we're joined by Matt Morrison of Morrison Fabrications.Use ‘PODCAST75' for $75 off your first HPA course here: https://hpcdmy.co/hpa-tuned-inMatt has spent years specializing in one thing — exhaust manifolds — and has dived down some very deep rabbit holes in order to figure out what works and what doesn't through various means of testing and investigation. Luckily for us, he's happy to share that knowledge so we don't have to do the same.Matt and podcast host Andre Simon discuss all facets of turbo manifolds in this episode, starting with Matt's early attempts to build his own and his eventual progression towards turning that into a full-time business with his wife, Samantha. Morrison Fabrications has since built a niche following in the Mitsubishi scene, and has done some serious research and testing into finding the optimum runner diameters and lengths, the best materials to use, and what wall thickness works best — all in the quest for the ultimate boost response and power delivery. There's also some great discussion around fabrication itself that jumps into how Matt goes about fabricating and TIG welding some seriously intricate and tricky manifolds — those who are keen on welding might find some really useful tips and tricks in this episode. There does seem to be a general lack of real understanding around what we should be looking for when choosing or building a turbo manifold — this episode is a great opportunity to learn and make better-informed decisions for your next manifold build or purchase. No, this isn't a dream (or even a nightmare): The Sandman, the iconic Vertigo comic book series created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Keith, and Mike Dringenberg, has finally been adapted for television. Paul, Arlo, and The Deli Counter of Justice co-creator Eric Sipple are all huge fans of the comics, and they use their familiarity with the Dreaming to dive deep into the first season of the Netflix TV show. The gang discusses the show's mostly spot-on casting, whether it captures Morpheus as well as Roderick Burgess did, how the filmmakers modernize some of the books' more outdated elements, and so very much more. Plus, a mini-review of Prey, the new Predator film directed by Dan Trachtenberg and starring Amber Midthunder.
