I sedvanlig ordning utses Artetas tre glödlampor om än något motvilligt. Då avsnittet spelades in kort inpå matchstart mot Club Brügge får vi även höra Richards reaktioner på startelvan i realtid.

Get 83% off PIA VPN - https://www.piavpn.com/lehtofilesIn 2012, physicist Nassim Haramein made a bold prediction about the proton's charge radius that contradicted mainstream physics. By 2018, his prediction became the official scientific standard—proving decades of established science wrong. In this conversation, Nassim explains how he discovered that protons are actually miniature black holes, and that mass itself emerges from quantum vacuum fluctuations rather than being an inherent property of matter. This isn't fringe science—his peer-reviewed papers accurately predicted measurements that mainstream physics got wrong. We discuss:- How he predicted the proton radius with 10-digit accuracy- Why protons are black holes at the quantum scale- How the strong force is actually gravity at a different scale- Why we don't need dark matter—we just misunderstood the coffee- The connection between zero point energy and UFO/UAP propulsion- What consciousness has to do with quantum physics- Why Einstein tried to create particles from mini wormholesNassim Haramein is the Research Director of the International Space Federation and has spent over 30 years working to unify the laws of physics.
Up THE Arsenal

What drives you when no one's watching? In this thought provoking episode of Firmly Rooted, we explore our understanding of motivation and what it means to live a life driven not by applause, but for the sake of Allah. With Iqbal Nassim, we are taken through a personal and spiritual journey of aligning our priorities with that of our greater purpose - to live God-centered lives. Whether you're in university, leading a team, or just trying to stay spiritually grounded, this episode will challenge you to realign and refocus.
In this episode we talk to Nassim Parvin and Neda Atanasoski, the editors of the book Technocreep. We discuss what makes a technology creepy and the rise of so-called creepy technologies during COVID-19. Neda and Nassim argue that creepiness is associated with surveillance and that privacy is posited as the solution to so-called creepy tech. However, they highlight the way that race and gender have shaped who has the right to privacy and argue that we need to go beyond the privacy/surveillance binary when thinking about creep. Their volume explores instead how feminists are reclaiming the idea of creep, from how the slow growth of creep or creepiness challenges the tech industry's emphasis on radical innovation, to how the idea of creep is used to police what's considered normal or desirable.

This episode is a two-for-one, and that's because the podcast recently hit its 10-year anniversary and passed one billion downloads. To celebrate, I've curated some of the best of the best—some of my favorites—from more than 700 episodes over the last decade. I could not be more excited. The episode features segments from episode #691 "Nassim Nicholas Taleb & Scott Patterson — How Traders Make Billions in The New Age of Crisis, Defending Against Silent Risks, Personal Independence, Skepticism Where It (Really) Counts, The Bishop and The Economist, and Much More" and #639 "Todd McFarlane, Legendary Comic Book Artist — How to Make Iconic Art, Reinvent Spider-Man, Live Life on Your Own Terms, and Meet Every Deadline"Please enjoy!Sponsors:Momentous high-quality supplements: https://livemomentous.com/tim (code TIM for 20% off)Eight Sleep's Pod 4 Ultra sleeping solution for dynamic cooling and heating: https://eightsleep.com/tim (save $350 on the Pod 4 Ultra)LMNT electrolyte supplement: https://drinklmnt.com/Tim (free LMNT sample pack with any drink mix purchase)Timestamps:[04:51] Notes about this supercombo format.[05:54] Enter Nassim Nicholas Taleb and Scott Patterson.[06:32] The joy of writing a preemptive resignation letter.[07:13] Developing resilience against criticism.[10:04] Nassim: contrarian, or simply independent?[12:27] Jiving with skeptical turkeys.[17:21] Persisting through the polycrisis.[19:18] Introducing the precautionary principle.[21:37] Nassim's preferred legacy.[23:50] Precautionary principle 101.[25:14] Fat tails, thin tails, the COVID vaccine, and GMOs.[32:51] Enter Todd McFarlane.[33:21] Baseball.[38:46] Rejection letters.[42:38] Compelling storytelling and meeting deadlines.[45:46] Deadlines pre-Internet vs. deadlines today.[48:36] How industry status quo led to the founding of Image Comic Books.[1:00:30] The Comics Code and the last straw.[1:06:52] The Marvel Dream Team exodus.[1:25:13] How is Todd's camel bladder a competitive advantage?[1:31:02] Career bouncing and double-shifting as a penciler and inker.[1:49:08] The happy accident of Venom.[1:55:46] De-Rockwelling the company icon and inventing "spaghetti webbing."[2:03:31] Bucking the status quo to become the status quo.[2:07:13] Parting thoughts and a promise for round two.*For show notes and past guests on The Tim Ferriss Show, please visit tim.blog/podcast.For deals from sponsors of The Tim Ferriss Show, please visit tim.blog/podcast-sponsorsSign up for Tim's email newsletter (5-Bullet Friday) at tim.blog/friday.For transcripts of episodes, go to tim.blog/transcripts.Discover Tim's books: tim.blog/books.Follow Tim:Twitter: twitter.com/tferriss Instagram: instagram.com/timferrissYouTube: youtube.com/timferrissFacebook: facebook.com/timferriss LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/timferrissPast guests on The Tim Ferriss Show include Jerry Seinfeld, Hugh Jackman, Dr. Jane Goodall, LeBron James, Kevin Hart, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Jamie Foxx, Matthew McConaughey, Esther Perel, Elizabeth Gilbert, Terry Crews, Sia, Yuval Noah Harari, Malcolm Gladwell, Madeleine Albright, Cheryl Strayed, Jim Collins, Mary Karr, Maria Popova, Sam Harris, Michael Phelps, Bob Iger, Edward Norton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Neil Strauss, Ken Burns, Maria Sharapova, Marc Andreessen, Neil Gaiman, Neil de Grasse Tyson, Jocko Willink, Daniel Ek, Kelly Slater, Dr. Peter Attia, Seth Godin, Howard Marks, Dr. Brené Brown, Eric Schmidt, Michael Lewis, Joe Gebbia, Michael Pollan, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Vince Vaughn, Brian Koppelman, Ramit Sethi, Dax Shepard, Tony Robbins, Jim Dethmer, Dan Harris, Ray Dalio, Naval Ravikant, Vitalik Buterin, Elizabeth Lesser, Amanda Palmer, Katie Haun, Sir Richard Branson, Chuck Palahniuk, Arianna Huffington, Reid Hoffman, Bill Burr, Whitney Cummings, Rick Rubin, Dr. Vivek Murthy, Darren Aronofsky, Margaret Atwood, Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Thiel, Dr. Gabor Maté, Anne Lamott, Sarah Silverman, Dr. Andrew Huberman, and many more.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
A Note from James:I am thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my podcast. Occasionally, I'll feature some timeless episodes as if they're brand new, sharing those that have greatly impacted me. One such figure is Nassim Taleb, whom I consider one of the smartest people on the planet.I've learned so much from Nassim, and I'm not sure he realizes or cares just how influential he's been on me. I was extremely grateful when he agreed to appear on my podcast. There's an interesting backstory to his appearance: he joined my show a few years ago, and we are airing that episode now, though he might not be aware of the whole story.Back in 2002, I was desperate—I was broke, struggling, losing my house, and my family was falling apart. I wrote to 20 influential individuals, including well-known investors and writers like Warren Buffett and Carl Icahn, expressing my desire to meet them. Only three responded.Jim Cramer was one of them. I had sent him ten ideas for articles he could write for TheStreet.com. To my surprise, he responded positively and encouraged me to write the articles myself, which kickstarted my career as a writer. From financial columns, I expanded into other topics.Victor Niederhoffer also replied because I sent him software programs tailored to his trading style, offering them for his and his traders' use and my assistance if needed, with no pressure to respond.Nassim Taleb was another who responded. I had reached out to him because I admired his book "Fooled by Randomness" and wished to meet him. Although he was willing to meet, I never followed up. However, many years later, he came on my podcast, bringing everything full circle, for which I am immensely grateful. Now, I am honored to reintroduce one of the smartest men in the universe, Nassim Taleb. Episode Description:In this episode, we explore Nassim Taleb's influential ideas, specifically his thoughts on antifragility, the unpredictability of life, and the beneficial role of trial and error in diverse areas such as technology, health, and business. As we mark ten years of learning, the host shares transformative conversations with Taleb, revealing how chaos and uncertainty can fortify systems, people, and industries. We examine Taleb's key principles: reducing interference, valuing variability, and the necessity of personal investment in outcomes. We also look at concrete examples. Further, we discuss how embracing errors and innovation can lead to breakthroughs in sectors like drug development and business ventures, and address the negative impacts of excessive rescue measures and regulatory constraints. Through a blend of personal anecdotes and theoretical exploration, this episode encapsulates the essence of antifragility as a pathway to resilience and fulfillment.
