Welcome to September 25th, 2022 on the National Day Calendar. Today we celebrate one-hit wonders and unsung heroes. By definition one-hit wonders are songs by artists that make us swoon only once before fading into obscurity. So in honor of National One-Hit Wonder Day, which songs fit that description for you? Every comic book fan knows the name, Stan Lee. But you may not be familiar with his partner, Jack Kirby. Together they created Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and the X-Men. Stan was the writer and Jack was the artist. Jack had been working in comics years before the two teamed up, creating his most famous character as World War II broke out. If you've ever seen Captain America punching Hitler in the face, Jack drew that. Shortly after he was drafted by the Army and assigned as a scout because he was able to quickly draw reconnaissance maps. After returning to the United States, Jack met Stan Lee and the rest is history. On National Comic Book Day, celebrate the men and women behind the heroes who may just prove that truth is more amazing than fiction. I'm Anna Devere and I'm Marlo Anderson. Get your capes and catchphrases ready, because Saturday is National Comic Book Day! Remonja from Store 919 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, came flying in as our Associate Caller of the Day. The fun continued with a call from Jeff from Club 6512 in Clarksville, Tennessee, who chose to celebrate his hero, Antonio, by giving him an excelsior shoutout. Things were shaken up a bit in our first Social Media Highlight of the Day, when Corina and Carlos from Store 512 in El Paso, Texas, busted a move with a shopping cart on TikTok. Our second Social Media Highlight of the Day proved the saying “not all heroes wear capes” true – Kevin from Club 4983 in Las Vegas, Nevada, saved the day by helping a member load a grill into their vehicle. To cap off a super start to the weekend, we also celebrated National One-Hit Wonder Day. Did your favorite song make Antonio's list? See for yourself in this incredible edition of LIVE with Antonio.

Robert from Store 11 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, was a hit as the Associate Caller of the Day. Victoria from Store 3495 in Clarksville, Tennessee, gave a standing ovation to Ashten, who has been promoted to Coach. The rocking-and-rolling fun continued with Milestone Minute. Joy at Store 147 in Denison, Texas, and Regenia at Store 533 in New Iberia, Louisiana, both celebrated 35 years with the company, while William at Store 1715 in Easton, Maryland, reached his 30-year anniversary with Walmart. The show hit a high note during Celebrity Chit Chat, when voice actor Rob Paulsen stopped by to discuss the Animaniacs reboot and his favorite characters throughout his career. Check out Bo and Josh's whole conversation with Rob at the end of the podcast. Finally, Bo's Impossible Question of the Day asked, what one thing do seven percent of all Americans under the age of 65 have in common? Tune in to find out!
