On débute cette émission par quelques nouveautés avant la sélection spéciale de Vince Irie sur le label Niney the Observer et pour la deuxième partie, c'est Alex Easy Style qui enchaine avec un set spécial  Necessary Mayhem productions.

Je sais bien qu'on avait dit qu'on ne ferait pas de supplément sur le Monte-Cristo cuvée 2024. Échaudés par les Mousquetaires de Martin Bourboulon, nous n'avions que peu d'espoir sur la proposition de Matthieu Delaporte et Alexandre De La Patellière qui avait scénarisé les deux films de 2023 et qui ont fait de même sur cette adaptation de l'autre roman culte de Dumas, en plus de le réaliser. Mais force est d'admettre qu'il y a un gap gigantesque de qualité entre les deux projets. Ainsi, profitant d'une soirée au calme durant nos vacances communes, l'équipe presque habituelle des Suppléments Dumasiens s'est réunie pour un podcast improvisé. Calubration Alert - Torpedo (EP) https://ffm.to/d57r8ya Calibration Alert is an aspiring Australian roots producer, working mostly out of his home studio in Brisbane. His passion lies in re-creating the heavy roots sounds of the 70's & early 80's with his biggest inspirations being producers like Bunny Lee and Niney the Observer. Calibration Alert regularly collaborates with reggae singers from around the world, such as Pasnbesa and Stoneface Priest. The Torpedo EP is a selection of Dub mixes and instrumental songs produced during 2022, all from previously unreleased riddims. This release features a range of styles, from rocksteady to rub-a-dub, as well as more dub-techno inspired music as well. All four tracks of the EP are presented in a rootical dubwise style. Special thanks to Angus Hall and James Battersby for their crucial contribution to the track “White Yam”, playing uplifting saxophone and trumpet vibes.

Veronica Varlow is the last of a line of Bohemian Witches, a fourth-generation intuitive, and an international burlesque showgirl. She is a confidence and sensuality coach who has been featured on the Tonight Show, Playboy, CNN, and MTV in 150 countries worldwide. Veronica and her husband, David Garfinkel-Varlow, established the branch of Witchcraft known as Spectaculus, an intersection of the Bohemian magick legacy of Veronica's grandmother Helen and Garfinkel-Varlow's rock-and-roll pagan practices, which stem from natural mysticism and instinctive creativity. Veronica is also one of the cofounders of the infamous Chelsea Hotel Coven in New York City and the founder of Witch Camp, held at the Magick House in Woodstock, New York. She also writes a regular column called “Life of a Love Witch” for Enchanted Living magazine. Veronica lives in Brooklyn, crafting spells and making magick with David and her Familiar, the half-wolf half-chihuahua known as Niney. The Celebrity Link- UNSUNG HEROES--TYRONE TAYLOR--CONTROVERSIAL BUT TALENTED The Entertainment Celebrity Link Tyrone Taylor, the reggae singer whose 1983 song "Cottage In Negril" is considered a classic, died on Saturday, December 1st 2007. Producer Norman 'Bull Puss' Bryan, a close friend of Taylor's, said the singer died from prostate cancer in Kingston, Jamaica. The St. Elizabeth-born Taylor, who was 50 years old, had fallen on hard times. He suffered two strokes in recent years and spoke openly of a substance abuse problem that derailed a promising career. TYRONE TAYLOR... SINGER WITH A GOLDEN SWEET VOICE. Tyrone Taylor was born in Negril, Jamaica, in 1957. He first ventured in the studio at the tender age of 12 when he recorded "Delilah" for producer Joe Gibbs. The song surfaced in the UK on the flipside of Dennis Walks' hit "Having A Party", but being disappointed with the final result of his first recording Taylor drifted among some of Jamaica's top session men, learning to play a number of instruments. One of his most influential benefactors was Willie Lindo who encouraged him to persevere with a career in the music business. Taylor went on to record with a number of Jamaica's leading producers, notably with Winston "Niney The Observer" Holness and Jack Ruby, and was signed to Bob Marley's Tuff Gong enterprise. The singer with the golden sweet voice always seemed to do his best work under the direction of Niney the Observer. Freddie McGregor born 27 June 1956, Clarendon, In 1963 he joined with Ernest Wilson and Peter Austin to form The Clarendonians,  He was only seven years old at the time and was known as 'Little Freddie'. McGregor worked with producer Niney the Observer during the late 1970s and early 1980s.In 1975, McGregor converted to Rastafari, which had a profound impact on his music.With the release of "Bobby Bobylon".  "Big Ship", "Push Comes to Shove", "Just Don't Want to Be Lonely" and "I Was Born a Winner"; as well as cover versions of many early reggae standards. He has also worked with producers Junjo Lawes, Linval Thompson, and Gussie Clarke. McGregor has also He secured a licensing agreement with RAS Records in U.S. and released Come On Over .He followed it two years later with a similarly well-received album, the Grammy nominated, Anything for You. Sizzla Kalonji, or simply Sizzla (born Miguel Orlando Collins, April 17, 1976, Jamaica is a reggae musician. He is one of the most commercially and critically successful contemporary reggae artists and is noted for his high number of releases.[As of 2011 he had released over 70 solo albums. In 1995 with a release through the Zagalou label, he then teamed up with "Bobby Digital" Dixon for a series of singles.  Jamaican reggae dancehall artist Daniel “Chino” McGregor sees the release of his debut album, Chino, on May 24, 2011 on the VP Records imprint.
