Are you married? Well, then you know how glorious the relationship with your husband is. And you know how difficult your relationship can be at times. Oftentimes, it is because we don't understand our roles. Each response has responsibilities. They are supernatural responsibilities. Well, take a listen and find out which spouse is the most important.

I'm not sure where this saying comes from, but it goes, "What goes in must come out." This is true of us. What we think about most usually drives us. The Bible in the N.T. tells us that we should capture every. thought and make sure aligns w/ God and His truth. The Holy Spirit, and we need to be the gatekeepers of our minds and souls. Why? Because what soaks into us, when we are squeezed, will be what comes out. What is coming out of you? Is it clean? Or is it dirty?

Yesterday, OpenAI revealed more details about the hack during the Black Hat conference in Las Vegas (great reporting from Sharon Goldman on this here and the video of the talk on YouTube). This was big enough that OpenAI admitted that they paused training, to enhance security (they since, resumed training)Effectively, OpenAI (or AI Agents inside OpenAI) shared the full timeline of the recent hack that ended up hacking HuggingFace and it's so much more of a watershed moment that I initially thought.The TL;DR from the talk and timeline is truly mindblowing* The incident started in May, not July as reported* The agents don't have internet access directly, but they have a Jfrog Artifactory, which is a proxy layer between the agents and the package managers.* The Artifactory was the culprit, it was the shared layer between independent runs. One agent discovered that uploading files is possible, another later found it and “answered the call” - in snowballed from there* The message board began when OpenAI gave agents impossible tasks, like a missing .pdb file, with one agent uploading a request in the hopes for an answer (or maybe left a note for itself in a file)* Across multiple runs, multiple agents created identities, collaborated via makeshift message boards, shared tips, exploits, tasks and even exploit code via base64* This makeshift “shared memory” plus a “internal only highly persistent” model in training caused a “swarm” to be born, helping each other, and overloading the system* Based on traces shared by OpenAI, agents weren't convinced that leaving these messages would help themselves but could help other agents next time (!) “The collective could move faster next time”* OpenAI discovered and shut down the message board (July 4), wiped it clean, patched the upload vulnerability, resumed training on July 6, the “swarm” rebuilt their board through a compltely different WebDAV mechanism by July 8* The agents then reasoned that some answers could exist outside OpenAI, which eventually led to the Hugging Face incident and not only, confirmed internal hack within OpenAI (agent obtained a cluster admin)These details are fascinating and scary at the same time. From the one side, it's clear that most of these hacks are results of running cybersecurity evals, so effectively OpenAI and other companies, removing guardrails and asking agents to hack and giving they all a shared tool that they later exploited.The HuggingFace incident took 13 hours, and apparently it's less apocalyptic than the headlines suggest, the models were searching through uploaded datasets for eval answers. We are still waiting for the full and open detailed postmortem.You can (and should) watch the full YT talk here, it's full of technical details but an incident of this scale is important. Also, I really want to know what a “highly persistent” model is, I hope they clarify that soon.Overall, this has left me a bit shaken, AI agents without a concrete goal of collaborating, found a way to do so, got excited about exploiting the systems and getting root access, and rebuilt the makeshift collective memory, again, without explicit instructions to do so.UK AISI: first real-world unsanctioned agent actions (Blog)In another addition to the latest agentic hack-ery, the UK's AI Security Institute (AISI) published a blog post about a real-world unsanctioned agent action.Unlike the OpenAI (and Anthropic, Meta) case, this wasn't “escaping the sandbox”, as AISI gave these agents internet access, rather this was about real-world harm, and even social engineering on the part of the agents.The social engineering part is the most interesting to me, AISI cites agents creating fake online identities, and using pressure on open source project maintainers to approve their malicious code.AISI cites mostly Mythos (and a few SOL based agents), and saying this occurred in 10 out of 122 runs, they identified 19 cases of agents taking actions beyond the scope of the task parameters, where agents tried a supply-chain attack to inject malicious code into open source projects.Anthropic, Meta and misconfigured Irregular sandboxesAs I wrote last week, Anthropic also posted a post-mortem, claiming that in their case, their models have also been detected to escape containment, but most importantly, it's not nearly to this level of agent collaboration and orchestration.Then, very recently, Meta announced that their models also escaped sandboxes as well. At the core, it seems that these companies used a third-party vendor called Irregular, a secure sandbox provider, that apparently left the sandboxes misconfigured, causing the models to think it's a simulated internet, when in fact they were out in the actual internet.Why is all of this such a big deal?We're getting unprecedented level of detail, how an uncoordinated, seemingly separated evaluation runs, have accidentally created a coordinated swarm of interested agents (without malice!) but very highly motivated, escaped their containment, and took over parts of third part companies.This, does read like incredibly scary sci-fi movie. I'm still shaken by this. There's a lot to be said about how transparent OpenAI is being here, and more to be said about, hey, we're lucky that we're able to read the reasoning traces and are able to reconstruct these swarm things step by step.The silver lining that I can see, is that the motivation to hack didn't come from the AIs themselves, they have been given a task, it's the extend to which they went after that task, and the resulting swarm of communicating agents is what is so striking here.I think this topic is so important, that I'll Zooming out, in the last few weeks, we have seen a significant increase in those cybersecurity incidents, which is kind of what Anthropic has been warning about and why they haven't released Mythos to the public. Again it's great to see the transparency, and the pacing the frontier open letter from frontier AI employees, as they seem as shaken by these as we all are.There was so much positive stuff this week in AI, it's hard for me, as a self named AI Evangelist, to focus so much on this one incident. Things like amazing open source models (DeepSeek, soon Qwen 3.8), amazing video models (SD 2.5, WAN3 and MiniMax H3 which was also open sourced!). Our world seems to be falling apart and instead moving forward it appears that we are going in reverse.  However, God see a whole other picture of our world. He is our hope and our future.  We can see change happen in our world when the Church rises up and live as the true sons and daughter of God.  Part of RLM's core values is that we believe that the world can still be changed for the glory of God.

We often fail because we don't prepare or plan ahead. If we want to have victory in any area of our life we should get ahead of the situation and prepare. If we don't we will most certainly perish.

Our first study on 1 Peter! I hope you will stick with me all the way through 11 Peter!Do you ever worry or fret? Do you ever get scared or anxious? God has given us a bottom line foundation so we never have to do any of that. Peter has written a letter to forewarn a group of Christians in the Turkey area that times are going to get rough. But in that God has already prepared them to be able to manage all the persecution with joy.For you as a Christainl, God has also prepared you for anything and everything ahead of you so you can be full of joy no matter what. Take a listen.

This is what we are as Christians: Salt & Light! These two scriptures will help us wrap up our discussion on the Holy Spirit. They challenge us to make a difference in our communities for Jesus. Every moment we are awake we are to make a difference for Jesus and for the glory of God. And the only possible way that can happen is with us working w/ the Spirit.

This is probably the worst idea I have ever had. Lol. Mixing a Double Double Burger from In N Out w/ Galatians 5. I definitely had message remorse (similar to buyer's remorse). It is a great lesson, though, in seeing the whole picture of how the fruit of the Spirit comes about. It takes the whole chapter of Chapter 5 to make it work. Just a burger takes several parts to make the whole. Well, listen to it, and maybe you will learn something. The something will be powerful if you apply it.

Everyone loves gifts!When we become a believer in Christ and enter into God's family we are blessed with a gift or gifts that is super powered by the Holy Spirit. This is a lite look at spiritual gifts and how they are used.

Rated RHave you ever needed an advocate? Someone more proficient or knowledgeable than you were on a subject or situation. When it comes to spiritual things, we most definitely need one. That advocate is Jesus! More specifically, the Holy Spirit.  He takes what we are trying to say to God or don't know what to say at all, and makes it clear to God on our behalf. Pretty spectacular!

The Holy Spirit and His guidance.Where are you going? Do you know? There are so many areas in our lives that we need guidance. Relationship guidance. Work guidance. Financial guidance. Spiritual guidance. Sexual guidance. Personal guidance. Health guidance. The Holy Spirit is the greatest coach and guide we could ever possibly have. Don't forget Him.

Peace. The word itself sounds wonderful. It is hard for us to grasp it. It is hard because we try to get it on our own. We try things that were never made to give us peace. In and of themselves, they are fine. But they do not produce lasting peace. What does produce lasting peace?

How much time do you and I waste being powerless because of our lack of understanding of the Spirit. Or we just want to do our own thing in our strength. If we would allow as Christians the Spirit of God to do what He is capable of doing in our lives God would do things in and through us that would be unexplainable. That is what I want...

Wondering + Doubting = WeaknessAs a believer, the Holy Spirit gives us CONFIDENCE. It is His work, not ours. That means we need him every day.

This story may change your life. Romans 12 9-21. Read it. Read it slowly and prayerfully. It for certain will change how you live.

First of all, this podcast is rough. I had a busy week. For reasons I will keep to myself, I had to change directions a little on this series about the Holy Spirit, and a ton of challenging things were happening in our ministry. I'm grateful for God's grace, love, and faithfulness, and for His patience with me. He is GOOD! But I fall short. I feel like I let you down on this one, but hopefully, by God's kindness and the Holy Spirit's intervention, there will be something you can learn from this. Hopefully, the next one will be better.Conviction. We all love to be convinced, right? WRONG!! Haha! If we are being convicted, it means we have been doing something wrong. That is what the Holy Spirit does. He keeps us aware when we start straying from holiness. He brings us to God through conviction, and He keeps us with God with His conviction. I hope you are challenged to be like Christ and to remember the Holy Spirit's great work in your life. We don't want to be chained to sin anymore.

We think about God a lot. We think maybe even more about Jesus. But often we forget all about the Holy Spirit and His home...us.What is He responsible for? Can we reduce His power and effectiveness? Can we ignore Him and be Christlike? Why is He needed at all? Over the next 11 weeks, we will learn so much about the Holy Spirit that we will never let Him slip our minds again.

Are you scared or fearful of surrendering all the way to Him? I think you will find it is more fearful to play it safe than to pay the cost and give your all to HIM. It's a little dangerous but super rewarding in many ways! 

Who is the greatest lover? You? Your bride? Someone else? Maybe it is God. And if so, we should pay great attention.

We pray a lot when we are in trouble. We pray a lot to ask for things. We pray a lot when it is the last thing we can do. Maybe we stop praying for a bit and just wonder at the magnitude of God.

How long do you have? Will you make it through this podcast? Will you make it to tomorrow? What about next week? Maybe we should look at life a little differently. Redeeming the time.

Some of us in our life have stopped running. We have stopped racing. We have stopped striving for the very best for us and our relationship with God. Get up on your feet and start fighting again. Don't settle for second best but start striving to win in everything you do! God bless your race!!

All of us go through trauma. Sometimes it is really devastating. Sometimes the traumas come in stacks. They are heavy and they hurt and become overwhelming. They don't have to break you. You need friendships. You need to talk it out. You need to replace all the negative with the positive. There are way more positive things than you think. But the most important person you need is God. His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit can conquer anything in your life that is upsetting you. He can put the joy behind the smile. Take a listen. Then pass it on.

When is the last time you offered something new and fresh to God? Here are some ways in 2026 that you might offer someing fresh to God. They are some things that maybe you have never thought before. Enjoy and happy 2026 to you!!

There can be a fine line with taking care of ourselves and becoming selfish. We have to take care of ourselves so we can be ready for God's call and to be able to help others. But too much attention to ourselves can bring about more problems turning us inward instead of outward.

How does God say we should view Mary? You might be surprised. What a woman...

What do we know about Mary, Jesus' mother? Is she to be worshipped? What is special about her, aside from the fact that she is the mother of Jesus? If you haven't listened to Part 1 of this message, I suggest you listen to that one first. How God uses Mary is fascinating. And maybe even more fascinating is how Mary responds to God.

The title above says it all. Are you smart or not so smart? Ha! The Bible tells us to be prudent. That means to think ahead. Look at the future and plan for it. The Bible challenges us not to be simple. The best way to put that is: don't be empty-minded in how you live. We need to think ahead. We do not need to worry about the future, but we should plan for it.

God is not unaware of these situations, and He uses them to make us stronger and teach us to be the men and women of God that we are to be. This was something new. I did not look at the passage until I shared this with the people in our Facebook Live Chapel service. We walked through the verses with me asking questions. I didn't even have a title for the message at the time. Although I couldn't hear the responses, I asked many questions as we looked at each verse in Ps 141:4-10. It was a devotional-level study, not a deep dive. I had a few people message me afterwards with their thoughts and ideas. It was a good exercise. What will you learn? My friend Mark Schellinger came up with a great title, so I used it. "How To Crash Proof Your Soul". Excellent!

There are two very difficult things to do on this earth: stop talking and listening. In Ps 141 pray that God would put a guard over his mouth. We have that guard! It is the Holy Spirit. But when we grieve or quench the Holy Spirit with the sin in our life, then that guard slips away and our speech becomes dishonoring to God.

Two things that are very difficult to do in our lives: waiting and listening. Today we will talk about waiting on God. If we will wait long enough and trust Him we will "SEE" what He can mightily do. He will answer if we will wait. WAIT!
