Real Estate Mogul Podcast - Learn How To Leverage Investing Strategies in Your Real Estate Business
Selling homes as a real estate agent can pay the bills, but it won't make you wealthy. Despite working long hours, closing deals, and chasing commissions, the vast majority of agents are stuck on the financial treadmill—working harder and harder just to maintain their lifestyle, with little to no progress toward true financial freedom. Many agents believe that if they just work harder, sell more homes, and climb the ranks, they'll eventually reach financial security. The truth is, no matter how many homes you sell, you're still trading time for money. And without a strategic shift in your approach, you may never escape the cycle. How can you break free from the income rollercoaster and start building real wealth? What if there was a different way—one that doesn't depend on endlessly chasing the next sale? In this episode, I reveal how to move from just selling real estate to building a portfolio of income-generating assets, allowing you to achieve long-term success and financial independence. Most real estate agents, even successful ones, do not become wealthy by just selling real estate. -Tom Cafarella Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode -Why selling homes won't make you wealthy Selling homes is tough, and while it can provide a decent income, it's not the path to wealth. How can agents get off the income rollercoaster? -Keeping a consistent approach to real estate Staying on top of the game year after year is rare. What makes consistency so challenging, and how does it impact your long-term success? -A Better Path to Wealth The true path to wealth lies in investing. What strategies can agents use to transition from selling homes to building portfolio assets that generate income? About Your Host Tom Cafarella is a real estate investor, agent, coach and entrepreneur who helps real estate agents achieve financial freedom through investing. This week on the It's All Me podcast, Gervase addresses the impact of going beyond the mind when it comes to healing. Listen in as she discusses the patterns that have led to a wave of traumatized nervous systems in modern society, and the risks we take when we focus on the problem rather than resourcing, regulation, and repair. Russia's unjustified aggression against Ukraine has revitalized NATO, and this new energy was on display at the recent 75th anniversary summit of the alliance. While there were some long-term decisions to boost European deterrence against the Russian threat, other key questions were left unanswered. Can Ukraine become a full member of the alliance? When can this happen? The open-ended confrontation in Eastern Europe, and the risks posed by a belligerent Russia, have resulted in a situation that is more ripe for escalation than the darkest days of the Cold War.In this episode, renowned historian Mary Elise Sarotte discusses the roots of the current crisis. Author of Not One Inch: America, Russia, and the Making of Post–Cold War Stalemate, Mary Elise Sarotte is also Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Distinguished Professor of Historical Studies at Johns Hopkins University. What should the U.S. and Europe do before it's too late to help Ukraine? How are the historical cases of Norway and West Germany joining NATO relevant to Ukraine today? What can history teach us when it comes to preventing the security situation in Europe from getting even worse?Further reading:- Sarotte, M.E., A Better Path for Ukraine and NATO, Foreign Affairs

According to data from Stanley Black & Decker, almost 80% of young people and their parents worry about how they'll pay for college or whether it's the right path for them. A career in the skilled trades could be the answer. The research also found that many young people hold misconceptions about trade careers, yet most skilled tradespeople said their jobs are in high demand. Can we close the skills gap by exposing more students to trades? Are there significant financial incentives to pursue a career in a skilled trade? What about accessibility and gender equality in the field? In this episode, Brian Hughes joins Kevin to discuss how to expose more students to opportunities and benefits of working in the skilled trades industry.
This week I welcome Karen Feridun back to the show. Karen is the founder of Berks Gas Truth and co-founder of Better Path Coalition. The Better Path Coalition are the organizers for the PA Climate Convergence this coming fall. We'll be talking about a summer filled with record-breaking heat, flooding, and climate catastophie. We've seen ocean temperatures that have surprised scientists, heat that broke records by a significant margin, and flooding that has devastated communities around the world. All of this is shocking. And all of this is precisely what climate scientists have been warning us about for decades. And all of this is what world leaders - including our own government - have failed to act on in any significant way. So, today we'll talk the summer that UN Secretary General has termed the beginning of the "era of global boiling." But we'll also focus on upcoming actions this week, later this summer, and in the fall that will demand decisive, immediate climate action. It's time to make plans to be in Harrisburg this October for PA Climate Convergence. The Convergence will bring advocates, activists, and concerned residents to Harrisburg to tell Gov. Shapiro, lawmakers, and regulators that they are having the wrong conversation on climate and need to change their stance. We'll talk about why lawmakers are keeping PA from being part of the solution to the climate crisis and what all of us can do to change that. In addition to founding Berks Gas Truth and co-founding the Better Path Coalition, for the past 11 years, Karen Feridun has worked with organizations in PA, NY, NJ, and DE to win the ban on fracking in the Delaware River Basin that was imposed in February. She is currently part of an international coalition working to stop Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) exports and a national coalition working with members of Congress to reform the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Diana engages in a conversation with Tori about the complexities of the supplement industry and the critical role of earning customer trust.QUOTES:Embracing a holistic perspective, we shape our products and content based on insights from diverse experts – maternal fetal medicine specialists, naturopaths, reproductive psychiatrists, and nutritionists – to meet the diverse needs of women - Alex TaylorWhat truly inspires us each day is the mission to foster a world where women are healthier, well-supported, and where moms and babies thrive with happiness and wellness" - Tori Thain Gioia"Taking a sophisticated approach to supplementation can help fill the gaps and bring balance where it is needed." - Diana FrycToday's episode is hosted by Diana Fryc of Retail Voodoo, connect with her on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dianafryc/KEY TAKEAWAYS:Addressing challenges for women balancing career and reproductionUrgent need for better research, advocacy, and doctor-approved productsDissatisfaction with current products for millennial momsDiscovering link between pregnancy nutrition and cleft lipLack of reliable information on nutrition during pregnancyImportance of doctor-developed vitamin routinesFocus on quality and dosage in supplementsValidation from Top OB and maternal fetal medicine expertsThe Essence of Trust: Perelel's Core MissionABOUT THE GUEST:Alex Taylor & Tori Thain GioiaCEO/Founder of PerelelLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/company/perelel/Website:https://perelelhealth.com/CHAPTERS:00:00 | Introduction02:28 | Unveiling the Inspiration behind Perelel05:25 | Frustration to Inspiration: Building a Better Path for Millennial Moms09:41 | OB validates need for new maternal product line13:36 | Empowering Women through Skill and Purpose15:43 | Entrepreneurs Face Challenges in Supplement Industry Expansion19:35 | Reshaping Medical Knowledge for Equality20:08 | Supporting women's health during peak years25:56 | The Impact of Built-in Brand Credibility at Perelel29:18 | Emphasizing Brand Reliability Over Celebrity Influence33:11 | Mission-Driven Brands Advocating for Women Leaders34:04 | ConclusionThis episode is brought to you by Retail Voodoo. In this episode, Robb and I discuss his upbringing, the defining moment that put him on a better path, his phenomenal success in business and his thoughts on leadership. Show notes for this episode can be found at https://scottwelle.com/breding, you can visit Robb's website at https://rev-advisors.com/ and connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/robbbreding/. Enjoy! Robb Breding has spent most of his life and career seeking to inspire people and organizations to be the very best they can be! He spent the first eleven years of his career receiving a world class education as an executive leader at a prominent fortune 500 retail company. Subsequently, he ventured to start his own retail company selling wireless phones and accessories. As president and CEO, he grew the business from a single store to over fifty locations, employing over 250 people across five states in just 10 years. Hit hard by the “Great Recession” of 2008, Breding fought back and successfully transitioned the business from direct distribution to a franchise-like model empowering entrepreneurs to own and operate their own wireless retail stores. After selling the wireless business in 2014, Robb's wife, Pam was diagnosed with breast cancer. The cancer battle that ensued lasted over two years and together he and Pam fought not only the cancer, but also phenomena and heart failure caused by chemotherapy. This life altering experience was a wakeup call for Breding and helped to solidify what has become his “WHY” in life. That is “To empower people to understand and fulfill their God given purpose!” Since then, Breding has founded REV Advisory Group to carry out this mission. Breding is also an active member of his community serving on the local advisory board for Hope International; he commits his time, treasure and talent to his local church and various non-profits; and is currently the chair of his Rotary Club's Leadership Development program. Robb and Pam have been married for over 34 years and together they have two beautiful daughters and two grandsons. The couple currently resides in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metro area.
Throughout your grief journey, you will find there are several details of grief that will affect you differently as time moves on. Because of this, your path through grief will change, never looking like anyone else's experience, however, both paths can still have similarities. There is truly no right way to grieve, nor is there a proper path to follow. Instead, there are choices to be made, guidance to be shared, which can provide you with a better experience or simply a better understanding of grief overall. In this episode, I discuss four ways to begin your journey with grief and the details you should consider when walking your own path.

I interviewed the father of deconstructing (my title not his) Dr. David Gushee and let me tell you friends, it did not disappoint. David is well known in academic circles for writing several textbooks that are still widely used in colleges today including the book Kingdom Ethics. However, over time, David found himself more at odds with the fundamentalist take over the evangelicalism and when he wrote his LGBTQ affirming book, changing our minds, he was promptly kicked out. Since then David has spent his time writing After Evangelicalism and giving the deconstruction community better language for what they've experienced.
