Donald Thomas never played football until he was already at the University of Connecticut. He tore his Bicep and Quad, within 3 plays of each other! While on a snap count during practice, Donald re-tears his quad on his final snap of the day! Trying to live your life, after sustaining a major injury. Only try to control what you can, and take the politics out of it, if you want to succeed in the NFL. Ryan Grigson managed with his gut, more than analyzing his moves. He was welcomed with open arms in the locker room, even though he came from New England. Reggie Wayne called Donald when he was with the Patriots, telling him "It's too strict up here!" He works with Gary Brackett every day, to give back to the youth.

Jonathan Taylor hopes he can play, and I believe he will for a very good reason. Broncos edge and HSE graduate Randy Gregory is OUT! Andrew Luck made a very smart decision, and there is no room to blame Jim Irsay or Ryan Grigson for it. Jim Irsay is getting impatient because fans are suffering from an acute case of Frankreatitis! And that means hope (and cash) are at risk! Average Time to Throw is a misapplied statistic. Higher is NOT better! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-kent-sterling-show/support

Colts GM Chris Ballard went through his pre-draft plans, saying the first shelf of the '22 NFL Draft is at #5 or #6. He also said the Colts are looking for a block first tight end, but they are hard to find. Also, Ballard did not say he "loves" T.Y. Hilton, so it is still possible he returns for an 11th season. Colts drafts over last decade ranked #14 in NFL since 2012, and their work shows the last four drafts by Ryan Grigson were not filled with quality other than in the 7th round. It's the "Allow Me To Retort" edition of the podcast with PodVader, Neil (Redskins), Rob (Bills), James (Eagles), Nick (Chiefs) and James (Texans). On Sunday, the SuperFans held their first annual Sacred Cow Slaughter (if you missed the show, please subscribe on iTunes, TuneIn, Stitcher, or anywhere great podcasts are heard - and leave us a review while you). On today's show, we shall resuscitate some of those cows, but first...The NFL made some rule changes including allowing more celebrations after TDs, shortened overtime, moved roster cut downs and allow for 2 players to come back from the Injured Reserve List. Plus, because of "rain", the Los Angeles stadium building has been delayed, thus the need for L.A. to delay in hosting a Super Bowl. PodVader talks with special guest, Clint Daly from the Daly Dose Sports podcast and writer at milehighsports.com. He talks about his Broncos, the Sacred Cow known as Tom Brady, Dan Marino's place in the G.O.A.T. argument and Jay Cutler should still be playing. Pod and the SuperFans take on that Tom Brady isn't the G.O.A.T. Sacred Cow and got some help from William Berry on Facebook.com/NFUPodcast. Rob had some issues with the QBR stat being slaughtered and came to its defense. The guys wrapped up the podcast talking about the Bills signing Nate Peterman (rookie QB) and Gerald Hodges (free agent LB), the Patriots signed Andrew Hawkins, the Browns signed Ryan Grigson to their front office ("that's what not getting better looks like"), Brock Osweiler believes the film is his friend, and Neil suggests playing OTA bingo.Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans - we need you as the SuperFan rep for your team! Christmas is coming early Colts fans! Two of your favorite Colts blogosphere personalities - Brad Wells and Greg Cowan - team up for a once in a lifetime event: a podcast dedicated to telling you how much they dislike the work of Chuck Pagano, Ryan Grigson, and Jim Irsay. On Thursday, December 15th, at 2pm ET, 11am PT, Brad and Greg will say what everyone is thinking: Grigson and Pagano have to go. They'll tell you what they've done wrong, and what Jim Irsay needs to do to fix his Indianapolis Colts and give them a chance at winning a Super Bowl in the Andrew Luck Era.
We get Tyler back this week in time to talk a lot of college football and baseball playoffs. After us wanting to burn down the Purdue football program after the Maryland debacle but came back and won at Illinois, good or bad? Pops of all people, says we should take a step back with the black and gold at 3-2, shocking. Keeping going with college football we talk about the cancellation of LSU and Florida and will it get rescheduled? Last week we talked about some potential job openings and this week we really get into it and who our top candidates are. It could be the greatest collection of programs open with Oregon, USC, LSU, Texas and Notre Dame seeming like they'll be looking for coaches this winter. Pops doesn't have LSU as the top job, a bit surprising in our opinions. What coaches do we think will be considered or looking for a program upgrade? We also get Tyler's opinion on Art Briles rehabbing his image at Purdue and the Les Miles rumors. We move onto the NFL to talk about a job we think will be open and that's the Colts, who got our attention because of Ryan Grigson's dumb comments about why his defense is bad. It's time to talk MLB Playoffs with the Red Sox and Rangers both floundering to start their series. How worried were Pops and I when the Cubs got the Giants? While we talk baseball playoffs we take a shot at the White Sox for another lackluster manager hiring. The Dodgers and Nationals have been disappointments year in and year out the past few playoffs, so who gets out of that match up? Is Madison Bumgarner the best post season pitcher ever? We Got Beef! And for Blair it's the fact that OBJ is letting people get in his head and take him out of games. Pops vents about losing a Fantasy Football game by one point, something that has happened to everyone.
Get your gas masks out! The 1st round is in the books so here's the lads immediate reaction! Thoughts on Tunsil's slide? 3 QBs in the 1st round? Ryan Grigson making a sensible pick? All this and more discussed! Plus we're joined in the studio by a genuinely LA Rams fan! Enjoy, and give us plenty of feedback on your teams draft @Gridiron on Twitter!
