Well, Mother Nature was no friend to any racer during the 2021 Race Across the West. Record breaking heat in the desert cut Team Z Cycling's race short about 30 miles from Parker, AZ. The highest temperature we saw was 137 degrees. During the day temps ranged from 105-120 and at night from 90-100 degrees. Rick was ready physically and mentally. The crew was prepared and knew what to expect on the course. Except for the heat. Rick wasn't eating according to the plan and didn't feel like eating much. Hydration was good but Rick never felt hydrated as evidenced by infrequency of nature breaks. Water retention was going to be a problem. With roughly 680 miles to go into temperatures that were not forecast to come down – a decision was made to focus on racer and crew safety and stop the race. This decision was also made because, based on our current race progress, it was highly unlikely we would finish by the cut-off time of 92 hours. It’s 1975 and the National Skateboarding Championships are well underway. Scores of highly skilled riders are impressing judges with their 360s, handstands, and nose wheelies. The notorious Z-Boy’s from Venice walk toward the freestyle area. Their radical and unconventional skateboarding style has made them local legends and the only girl on the team is about to disrupt the competition and make her mark.  Peggy Oki, the only female member on the original Zephyr Competition skateboarding Team was made famous in the award winning documentary DogTown and Z-Boys. The talented and unconventional Z-Boys were rebellious.  Their style influenced and radically shaped the skateboarding culture of the 70’s and became the trademark vertical skateboarding that lead to today’s X-Games. Peggy takes us back to the DogTown days and her life in a culture where she learned to fight and take the hard knocks for what she believed in -- life lessons she needs today for her crusade to help save dolphins and whales all over the world.

Episode 216 "Pour Some Sugar, Zombie" - iZombie strips down to give us a story that moves more pieces into place. The question is... does it move the story along? Peyton is back where she belongs in our circle of friends. (Looking back, it makes us wonder if Gunther was on Team Z! Just look at that hair!) She seems to be fully embracing the whole 'my roommate is a zombie' thing, even to the point that she's using Liv's visions to help bring down Stacy Boss. But things don't quite work the way she plans when Liv gets in touch with her stripper side! While the ladies try to bring down a killer and a mob boss, Blaine is having an identity crisis without even realizing it. Speaking of an identity crisis, Ravi finds out that his bromance isn't what he thought as he learns Major has been keeping a major secret. Talk about trust issues! Meanwhile, Drake is still on ice and Rita hits the freezer for a brainburger. Being a zombie is the least of her worries! (She should have had a bite of Liv's BLT... brain, lettuce and tomato sandwich. Still waiting for that iZombie cookbook!)Dorin and Heather return to the microphone to discuss the episode "Pour Some Sugar, Zombie." (Yes, you may sing along and thrash your mullet!) Ravi is stressed trying to find out why the zombie cure isn't working, Liv is obsessing over a boy, and Blaine gets moody.Dorin and Heather return to the microphone to discuss the episode "He Blinded Me ... With Science." Will Liv stay with Drake? Will she care that Blaine and Major may be closer to true death than they hoped? Are Clive and Dale about to find out what's really going under right under their noses? Or will one or both of them fall prey to zombies ... or worse, VDC!? Is Blaine re-human again? Will he be himself or a do-gooder? Is Rita doomed? Or is it VDC that should be scared?

Season's Brain-eatings, Team Z! Robin and Steph close out 2015 with their discussion of the mid-season finale: Cape Town! After long hiatus there are only two gamecasteronis surviving, Fizz and NBZ.Team Z if you will.We catch up a little and then break right into the swing of things by talking about Splatoon, Batman Arkham Knight, and every game the Gamespot gave a 10 to.Fizz got himself an xboxone recently and they discuss some of the pros of that and also talk about how in the near future we could see the end of consoles, except for maybe Nintendo~Fizz relates the drama from EVO to wrestling and paints Hungry Box as a big time heel.
