Maggie Stroud, MCN, RD, LD, CEDS is a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders. Maggie graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in business management. Maggie went on to complete her Master's degree in clinical nutrition at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. During her time in graduate school, Maggie interned in a variety of eating disorder settings including Remuda Ranch in Arizona and focused her graduate research on analyzing the role of the RD in the treatment of eating disorders.After graduating from UT Southwestern in 2016, Maggie began working at the Renfrew Center of Texas in the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings. In June 2017, Maggie joined the team at Eating Recovery Center of Texas and worked in the inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization levels of care. Maggie has experience with clients of all ages and a variety of diagnoses including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). Maggie has a special interest in working with children and adolescents and ARFID. Maggie is an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) DFW Chapter and has served as the membership co-chair for the 2019 to 2020 term.     Join April and Kimberly as they discuss sexual assault, and how we break the chains of how we define purity as christian women.   Colleen Willoughby bravely shares her journey of coping with sexual assault in her first year of college and how she healed and began to take control of her life.  About Colleen:Colleen was raised in north Texas and received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas in 2012. She moved to Amarillo for a year as a Forensic Interview for the Children's Advocacy of Texas before moving back to North Texas to work for a local rape crisis center in her hometown. She interned, volunteered, and worked for nonprofits serving victims and survivors of sexual violence for nearly a decade before she left the nonprofit realm in 2016 to pursue a new career path. She received her Master of Business Administration - Operations and Supply Chain Management in 2019 and is currently working as a program manager for an e-commerce company. Her passion is still to advocate for victims and survivors of sexual violence and hopes to serve on a board of directors one day to help local nonprofits secure the funds they desperately need. Colleen is married to her best friend, Lyndon, and they are expecting their first child in July 2021. They have a dog and 2 cats, and love spending time outside whether in their backyard or a patio at a restaurant.
