Member of BLITZ VEGA Kav Blaggers said his band will tour performing legendary musician Andy Rourke's music. BLITZ VEGA will drop their album “Northern Gentlemen” April 26, 2024. It was one of Rourke's last work. Rourke passed on May 2023. “Andy was unwell for a number of years. We did have a time. We had to cancel a few tours. People weren't aware of his illness because he was a private person,” said Blaggers in an interview with The Roman Show. He said most of the work was done during the pandemic. “We were recording for over seven years, this record and we recorded a lot of stuff. The pandemic allowed us to record. We were in Los Angeles and I came back from the United Kingdom and Andy went back. We were working remotely,” he added. He said although through his illness, Rourke continued to work and asked the record be performed live after the release of the album. “Definitely,” Blaggers said. “We played our first show in London a few weeks ago. We got a concert in Los Angeles and next year. He pointed out that once the music is out he wanted us to go on tour. The Roman Show spoke to AEW's women's champion Melissa "Thunder Rosa" Cervantes. She said she has someone in mind who she would like to fight in a mixed martial arts fight. Cervantes said she is interested in another mixed martial arts bout before she turns 40. Her last fight was in November 2019 against Nadine Mandiau inside Combate Global's la jaula. However, she has been keeping in an eye on Combate Global's female division. She said she is a fan of Yazmin Jauregui, who won last years's all women tournament. "One of the people I follow is Yazmin. I was blown away from her performances. If I would have been her age I would have loved to get inside la jaula," she said. It is not a done deal as far as her returning to mma, however, she said she'll wait on a list of potential opponents who is willing to scrap.
