Send us a Text Message.Danny Worsnop, born on September 4, 1990, in Beverley, East Yorkshire, England, is best known as the lead vocalist of the British rock band Asking Alexandria. His distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence have been central to the band's success and evolution over the years.Worsnop co-founded Asking Alexandria in 2008 alongside guitarist Ben Bruce. The band quickly gained traction in the metalcore scene with their debut album, Stand Up and Scream, released in 2009. This album was characterized by its heavy breakdowns, electronic elements, and Worsnop's powerful screams and melodic singing. It helped establish the band as a force within the genre, and Worsnop's dynamic vocal abilities were a significant factor in this rise.Following the success of their debut, Asking Alexandria released Reckless & Relentless in 2011. This album marked a shift towards a more rock-oriented sound while retaining their metalcore roots. Worsnop's versatility as a vocalist was showcased through his ability to switch seamlessly between harsh and clean vocals, contributing to the album's critical and commercial success. In 2013, the band released From Death to Destiny, further evolving their sound. This album leaned more towards hard rock and featured Worsnop exploring a wider range of vocal styles. His performance on tracks like "The Death of Me" and "Moving On" highlighted his growth as a singer and songwriter. However, in 2015, Worsnop parted ways with Asking Alexandria to focus on other musical endeavors, including his rock band We Are Harlot and a solo career. During this period, he explored different genres, showcasing his versatility as an artist. His solo work, particularly the album The Long Road Home, delved into country and blues influences, demonstrating his ability to adapt and excel in various musical styles. In a surprising turn of events, Worsnop rejoined Asking Alexandria in 2016. If you enjoy the melodic content of Paramore, and the character themes of Slipknot, then you have found the perfect matchup in GFM. The three sisters of GFM started taking music lessons around the age of five, and all three ended up falling in love with music. As they grew up, they decided that they wanted to pursue this love for music professionally and have been putting blood and sweat into creating a business and career out of GFM. The most important goal of GFM is to use their gifts to reach people for God and to always spread a positive message. The stage is their home, and they want to share their home with their fans. GFM is not your average teenage girl band… they're sisters for crying out loud. Their musical journey began in 2016 when they worked on their first album “Identity Crisis” with producers Jake Jones and Justin Forshaw (formerly of We as Human). In 2017, the girls went on their first U.S. tour, and the demand was so strong for GFM that they went out again the following year in 2018 on another U.S. tour, finishing out the touring season with their first trip to Germany for a festival. GFM was met with thousands of loving fans and instantly became a festival favorite. In 2019, GFM released their much-anticipated EP “Oh, The Horror!” after working with Eric Varnell and Billy Decker (Uncle Kracker, Sam Hunt). GFM headlined their own summer U.S. tour, and again were called to perform in Germany at the end of the year. 2020 contained GFM's first acoustic tour, along with the release of their first two singles off of their upcoming EP “Operation Take Over.” GFM had peaked Joey Sturgis' (Blessthefall, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men) interest, and he got involved in the producing process alongside Eric Varnell and Billy Decker. While on lockdown, GFM started the very first E-Tour, taking over various social media pages for over 20 dates of performing via livestream. They were able to do a short summer run as well, despite the pandemic situation, attracting several premieres and features from Alternative Press and front-page features in several magazines and newspapers across the nation. This is the hundred and forty-first episode of the GameDev.tv Community Podcast. With their music, GFM wants to show that women and young people can play music.  Music can be encouraging and not just negative.  GFM is breaking boundaries in so many areas of the music industry, and in doing so, they are bringing life back to rock and metal.  The girls want to show the growth they've experienced through their music.  They believe in being open with the fans and showing them the worst and best sides of themselves.  They hope to encourage the listeners, help them keep fighting as they are not alone, and they wish to help others become more established in their faith.C++ Fundamentals Course:https://www.gamedev.tv/p/cpp-fundamentals/?product_id=3266750&coupon_code=SUMMERFUN&affcode=45216_dezckag6Unreal C++ Course:https://www.gamedev.tv/p/unreal-engine-c-developer-4-22-learn-c-and-make-video-games/?product_id=1319848&coupon_code=K-B&affcode=45216_dezckag6Unity 3D Course:https://courses.gamedev.tv/p/complete-unity-developer-3d/?product_id=1319848&coupon_code=K-B&affcode=45216_dezckag6Unity 2D Course:https://courses.gamedev.tv/p/complete-unity-developer-2d/?product_id=1319848&coupon_code=K-B&affcode=45216_dezckag6Blender Course:https://www.gamedev.tv/p/blender/?product_id=1319848&coupon_code=K-B&affcode=45216_dezckag6GameDev.tv Official PodcastEnjoy the Podcast!Support the show (https://www.gamedev.tv/p/complete-unity-developer-3d/?product_id=1319848&coupon_code=The_K_B&affcode=45216_dezckag6)

Blue Ridge Rock Fest here we go again, this time with Day 4 band, A War Within from Detroit Michigan Based in Detroit MI, A War Within consists of members Spencer Maybe, Nikhil Rao, Zac Bardsley, and Roy Guldenpfennig. The band prides itself on intense live performances and dynamic music that combines technicality with accessibility; crushingly heavy sections that are perfectly balanced by delicate melody. The band was initially founded by prior members in 2014. The debut release was a music video for “Holding On”, and following this came the release of the debut album, “Sons of Saturn”. The record lead to touring with The Paramedic, Sycamour, It Lies Within, Darkness Divided, Spence and Words like Daggers. In 2016, the band released their second full length record, “Believe”, and embarked on several full US tours. The year saw them touring with Blessthefall, Miss May I, The Plot in You, Sirens & Sailors, Divisions, Versus, Darkness Divided and Convictions. A busy year on the road was ended with a few weeks in Portland, Oregon recording with producer Kris Crummett (Sleeping with Sirens, Issues, Dance Gavin Dance). In 2017, the band began releasing the material recorded with Kris, including the two singles “Where the Lines are Drawn” and “Wallflower”. They also toured the East Coast relentlessly, joined by Never I, Alteras, The Few, and Icaria. In the winter of 2017, they began pre-production on their third full length record. The band has earned a consistent following in the Detroit scene, resulting in shows with Attila, The Color Morale, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, For the Fallen Dreams, and more. They have also had the privilege of playing the Detroit date of Van's Warped Tour in both 2015 and 2018. Currently, the band is finishing self-producing and recording their third full length record. Joel Wanasek is a music mixer and producer who has worked with bands such as Machine Head, Bless The Fall, Monuments, and more. He is also an incredibly successful entrepreneur, most notably with his heavy music mixing platform, URM (Unstoppable Recording Machine). In short, Joel is one of those people who will work harder than anyone, and absolutely crushes whatever he sets his mind to. And sometimes, some of the things his sights on are incredibly entertaining to observe! One of the examples that we are specifically discussing in this episode is the creation of an entirely fictional band that Joel pretended to produce - and boy, he not disappoint. He released music, promo assets, and did a full Spotify campaign, all while pretending that this band actually existed - and it worked! In less than two months, this fictional band went from 0 streams, all the way to 80k. In this episode of Your Band Sucks (At Business) we discuss exactly how Joel went about marketing this band, and we didn't stop there! This is the 50th episode of Your Band Sucks (At Business) and Joel was the perfect guest to have on for this milestone episode. It's the longest episode we've done to date, and Joel brought his considerable knowledge to the table and he didn't hold back. Getting to pick the brain of someone like Joel for nearly two hours is not something that happens everyday and we can't thank Joel enough for taking the time to lend us his experience, without holding back in the slightest. Dos sencillos fueron publicitados de ese álbum “Right Side of the Bed” y “The Crimson”. Además, se le suma la gira Otoño 2006 titulada World Championship Tour, planeada con bandas como From First To Last, Chiodos, y Every Time I Die. Hasta la actualidad, este disco cuenta con cuatro sencillos: “Anger Left Behind”, “In Our Wake”, “The Time Is Now” y “House Of Gold”.

Vocalist Nick Moore formed Findlay, OH's Before Their Eyes in 2006. The band quickly gained a large following through their albums on Rise Records and constant touring with acts like Saosin, Norma Jean, Silverstein, Blessthefall, and many other hardcore and post-hardcore outfits. Moore has kept the passion project alive almost singlehandedly over the years, continuing to put out material with a revolving door of different musicians. 2020 has already seen the release of three singles and a remix of their 2019 song, "Why 6 is Afraid of 7," on Moore's own label InVogue Records. Oh yeah... did I mention he's ran his own record label since 2009? Those are just two of the businesses the married father-of-three keeps himself running at a brisk pace with. After hearing Before Their Eyes' latest remix "6 vs. 7," catching up on their back catalog, and reading up on Nick Moore's background in Christian music, I decided to reach out and find out more about this hardworking member of the hardcore and punk community. Watch or listen to hear Moore and I chat about everything from his favorite superhero to what TV shows he watches, and how his faith affects his career choices and life. It’s time for a brand new episode of Ian Hates Music! James is back, Ian is still not 100% after being sick for a week and a half, but as Fronz says “It Is What It Is”, so you may hear his voice give out every once in while (lucky you!)…The guys have all the fun scene news and some not so fun as well, so, you know what to do!Get ready for your best weekly dose of metalcore, post-hardcore, metal, hardcore, electronicore, emo, screamo, rock, alternative, pop-punk, punk, easycore, deathcore, nu-metal, and really, all the core you could ever want! It's another FUCKING GREAT, FUCKING FREE (NSFW) episode of Ian Hates Music you say?!?! That's right! Ian and James talk your scene news from:The Ghost Inside, Ozzy, Breaking Benjamin, Marilyn Manson, A Day To Remember, Warped Tour, Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, The Word Alive, Blessthefall, Wage War, and a serious conversation (on a comedy show) about sexual misconduct/assault accusations in the scene. This is not a conversation about who is “right” and who is “wrong”. This conversation does not choose sides and does not expect you to either. It is an analytical conversation, all speculation, all opinion, on the current state of accusations that happen to take place in the scene. If you like an open conversation with no judgements that may actually be thought provoking, then this conversation is for you. If not, you can skip it and go on to New Songs. The entertainment show, known as Ian Hates Music, is normally a comedy show, but the co-hosts try to be open and honest and sometimes that means covering the big stories that involve a sensitive nature. And New Songs talk from:Born A New, Low Dose, AngelMaker, Whitechapel, Dayshell, Harm, Life Itself, The Damned Things, Our Last Night, New Idea Society, Belle, The Anchor, and Charlatan!Add on album reviews from:Attila - Villain - Self-ReleaseExitWounds - Visions - EP - SharpTone RecordsBlood Youth - Starve - Rude RecordsBoundaries - My Body In Bloom - EP - Unbeaten RecordsTo the Rats and Wolves - Cheap Love - Arising Empire/Nuclear Blast RecordsMinors - Abject Bodies - Holy Roar/Deathwish RecordsDeadships - D.O.A. - Stay Sick RecordingsGhost Iris - Apple of Discord - SPV/Long Branch RecordsPlus, stuff and/or things and maybe some more! Also, Ian has opened a Patreon to help with the costs of the many Ian Hates shows. HELLIER director, Karl Pfeiffer joins us to discuss the break out paranormal investigative series, for free now on YouTube! For hundreds of years, locals have reported startling run-ins with monsters that dwell in the area’s caves and caverns, mass sightings of unidentified lights in the skies, and contact with mysterious entities that seem to originate from beyond this world. Now, a new documentary from Planet Weird heads deep into the heart of coal country in an effort to discover the truth behind the latest outbreak of high strangeness, a search which brings them to Hellier, Kentucky.Hellier is a five-part, cinematic documentary series that investigates a new and intriguing supernatural mystery. What began as a plea for help from a frightened man, oppressed by what he believes are extraterrestrial forces, leads a small crew of paranormal researchers to a dying coal town, where a series of strange coincidences uncovers a decades-old mystery with implications as deep and far-reaching as the caverns beneath Appalachia.Karl Pfeiffer is a portrait and conceptual photographer based out of Northern Colorado.Blending his talents in fine art, his interest in video, television, and movies, and his passion for those things epic, romantic, and mysterious about the world around him, Karl now concentrates most of his creative pursuits toward photography. His primary focus and style revolves around blending the traditional sense of photography as a documentation of the world around us in a moment, with new technology that allows those images to be maniuplated toward the surreal and the impossible. It's here, he finds, that those things supernatural, mystical, Platonic, and meaninful can start to leak into images otherwise firmly based in the physical world grounded in light and shadow. He finds this blending subtly in wedding photography and couples shoots, as well as more overtly, in his conceptual and portrait work. His clients include album covers for Fearless Records and the bands BlessTheFall, My Enemies and I, The White Noise, and The Ghoulies. He does book and cover design for his own novels as well as for the novelist Jude Fawley. His portfolio also includes portrait work for the web network The Dark Zone, as well as cast members from Ghost Hunters, Kindred Spirits, Ghost Mine, and Ghost Hunters International, as well as advertising for The Stanley Hotel and the Ghost Hunter Cruise.Karl is always excited to take on new projects, whether in the traditional realm of portrait and wedding photos, or the non-traditional, where you may be interested in those thin places where reality breaks down. Thank you for your understanding.**This week, we review the sixth album from the always exciting, blessthefall. While their previous album was a bit of a mis-step in our opinion, we went in to this review cautiously optimistic. Does this new album move the band in a new and progressive direction? Or does their sound not push the needle enough? Find out what we thought in our track-by-track review. Also on the show this week, we get excited for the new upcoming albums by Dance Gavin Dance, The Fever 333, and Panic! Within a week, the women were practicing in Amanda's apartment. Within a month, there were several noise complaints and thus the duo upgraded to an official rehearsal space, donned the name Steel Cranes, and started pouring much of their free time and energy into cultivating their sound and their songs. Steel Cranes is an Oakland, California rock duo with Amanda on drums and Tracy on vocals and guitar. Prior to their convergence, Amanda had played guitar and drums for various rock bands in Southern California while Tracy put in much of her time rambling through New York and Brooklyn with her music and comedy pursuits.
