Chris Cornell’s estate gave fans a special surprise before 2020 came to a close - a posthumous album of covers titled “No One Sings Like You Anymore, Vol. 1” recorded in 2016 with producer Brendan O’Brien. So what does the late Soundgarden / Audioslave singer sound like covering songs initially made famous by John Lennon, Guns N’ Roses, Prince, Janis Joplin, Electric Light Orchestra and more? Find out what Matt and Zach think in Epic Footnote Productions’ “2 Minutes to Review,” a podcast that’s part album review and part competition. In each episode, both hosts are given two minutes each to review a newly released album, a recent reissue, a record they’re revisiting after years of going unlistened, or in this case a collection of new singles. Whoever gives the longest review in under two minutes wins.

Jagged Little Pill með Alanis Morisette fór heim með verðlaun fyrir plötu ársins, og Rokkplötu ársins líka. Wildflowers með Tom Petty og Heartbrakers og Mirror Ball með Neil Young, þar sem Pearl jam spilar einmitt undir hjá Neil, voru tilnefndar líka í þeim flokki. Óskalagasíminn verður opnaður (5687-123) um kl. 20 og A+B er svo að þessu sinni með U2. Lagalistinn: Fræbbblarnir - Bjór The Who - Shakin all over Fontains DC - Boys in a better land Sons - Waiting on my own Slade - Gudbuy T?jane Kiss - The oath Vintage Caravan - Set your sights VINUR ÞÁTTARINS Mick Ronson og David Bowie - Like a rolling stone SÍMATÍMI Ozzy Osbourne - Straight to hell Pearl Jam - Last exit (plata þáttarins) Rammstein - Deutchland (óskalag) D-A-D
