Gosh! Right on, right on. His latest movie is “Cagefighter”. He joins us to tell us about the aftermath of not getting a dislocated toe put back in as well as his favorite UFC fighters. It's a Beyond the Mic Shortcut with Chuck Liddell. Beyond the Mic with Sean Dillon is the conversation series where actors, artists, authors, and more go deeper than a traditional interview. They go “Beyond the Mic”.

Charles David "Chuck" Liddell (born December 17, 1969) is a retired American mixed martial artist and former Ultimate Fighting Championship Light Heavyweight Champion. Liddell has an extensive striking background in Kempo, Koei-Kan karate and kickboxing, as well as a grappling background in collegiate wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. During his prime, Liddell was known for his knockout power, iron chin, excellent counter striking and for his sprawl-and-brawl technique, which made him one of the most difficult fighters to takedown. He is one of the most dominant champions that ever competed in the UFC. He has the second most knockouts in UFC history, only behind Anderson Silva. Liddell had 23 fights in the UFC, and along with Randy Couture, is widely credited for bringing mixed martial arts into the mainstream of American sports and entertainment. On July 10, 2009, he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Since his retirement in late 2010, Liddell has also made several film and television appearances, including a number of appearances before he retired. He appeared as himself in the movie Bachelor Party Vegas, He appeared as "Graft" in the pilot episode of the TV series Blade: The Series and had a guest cameo in the first season of Inked on A&E. He was featured in the film Kick-Ass 2 and also appeared in the TV shows Entourage, Hawaii-Five-O, Criminal Minds, Blue Mountain State, Bones and Celebrity Big Brother, among others.
AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley is no strangers to acting. He first appeared in the 2015 film 12 Rounds 3 and the 2016 film Countdown. Now, Moxley stars as professional wrestler turned Mixed Martial Arts fighter in the film Cagefighter. Moxley plays AEW World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Stone who accepts a big money fight challenge from current Legends Light Heavyweight Champion Reiss (Alex Montagnani), who doesn't appear to take his untested challenger seriously. Stone has a chip on his shoulder as he's coming into the fight 0-0 taking a title shot, where he's treated a la CM Punk was when he legitimately tried his hand in the UFC. However, the Stone character is more like real life professional wrestlers turned MMA stars Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley and AEW co-hort and current Bellator MMA Heavyweight, Jake Hager. We spoke with Moxley about how he didn't bother asking what the pay was for the film because he loved the story so much, how he and Montagnani choregraphed the fights without a stunt coordinator, the struggles of waiting for fan reaction from a film while receiving instant gratification in an AEW ring. Cagefighter stars Alex Montagnani (Professional MMA Fighter), Jon Moxley (AEW World Heavyweight Champion, NJPW: IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion), Gina Gershon (Showgirls, Bound), Chuck Liddell (UFC Hall of Famer and Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Kick-Ass 2), Elijah Baker (The Batman, Signs of Silence), Luke Rockhold (Former UFC Middleweight Champion), Jay Reso FKA Christian (Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Shoot ‘Em Up), Georgia Bradner (Supernatural, Dark Angel) Cagefighter hits theaters and VOD on Friday, October 9, 2020. Growing up as a Sydney street kid bouncing between government housing and homelessness, Peter Graham was wandering aimlessly through life. Dropping into a karate studio one day, he figured it was a chance to finally be good at… something. This led to a series of opportunities beginning as an ‘uchi-deshi’ live-in student in Tokyo as a Kuyokushin karate student under Japanese karate master Mas Oyama, and gave him the opportunity to compete in the world’s most popular kickboxing tournament, K-1, before being pushed out by the Kyokushin Karate Association.Professionally, Peter’s competed in numerous disciplines including full contact karate, K-1, MMA, and boxing. He covers the stylistic differences between martial arts, his rivalry with Badr Hari and the ‘rolling thunder’, and how his fight with Alexander Emelianenko brought him back from obscurity.Along the way we discuss the personalities he encountered including Mark Hunt, Ernesto Hoost, Bob Sapp, Wanderlei Silva, Cro Cop, Badr and the Emelianenko brothers.Find out more about Peter here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Graham_(fighter).
