Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton, the indomitable country queen nearing her 80th birthday, shared a deeply personal reflection this weekend, telling Whiskey Riff her sole life goal now is to lift people up and glorify God, a heartfelt glimpse into her enduring spirit amid holiday buzz. Inside the Magic reports that her cherished Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge slashed operations on December 14, closing at 6 p.m. instead of the full day due to biting winter weather, disappointing fans eyeing the Smoky Mountain Christmas festivities and highlighting the parks seasonal vulnerabilities. No direct involvement from Dolly herself surfaced there, but it underscores her empires ongoing heartbeat. Meanwhile, her name sparkles across yuletide stages nationwide, with Concerts50 listing a tribute show Dolly Partons Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol set for December 21 at Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in The Villages, Florida, tickets fetching up to 187 dollars, alongside Ticketmaster noting a Greensboro, North Carolina, performance on December 17 and JCCC announcing one December 11 in Yardley Hall. The Carson Center and Iowa State Center echo similar tour stops through mid-December, proving her holiday musical legacy thrives via these polished productions. Business whispers from AOL hint at Dolly resuming oversight of her 650 million dollar empire, including Dollywood, despite recent health setbacks, though details stay vague and unconfirmed. House Beautiful revisited her festive flair, recalling from The Ellen Show how she decks multiple homes with themed treeslike water motifs at her lake houseand a 2024 People interview affirming she never skips family Christmas traditions. The Drinks Business recapped celebrity booze launches but slotted Dolly in last years roundup, with no fresh 2025 pours confirmed. Farther out, JamBase notes her Las Vegas residency kicks off September 2026 at Caesars Palace Colosseum, her first in 32 years, postponed from earlier health hiccups. Tributes like The Dolly Show at Hitchin Town Hall on December 16 keep her sparkle alive, but these past days paint a quieter Dolly, letting her brand and beliefs shine bright.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

We realize that not every child is going to grow up to be a world class musician or standout singer. Or even be inclined to join their church's choir and go to the symphony every weekend. However, we wholeheartedly believe in music's important place in a child's education - both learning to make good music and learning to appreciate good music. Throughout history, the free societies of the world have valued music education, and for good reason. As we approach our anticipated Christmas Concerts (and Christmas caroling season, of course) this is an excellent time to listen to a conversation with our three music teachers - Sarah Smith (K-2nd grade music), Lindsey Stauffer (upper grammar and secondary music and choir director) and Jennifer Petry (orchestra director) - about why music education enriches a student for life in their future families, churches, and communities at large. This week's podcast is a throwback to last year but just as important! During these crazy times we know only one for sure about Advent this year: it will be different. Without the things we are used to, like Christmas Concerts and large family gathers, it might be tempting to just let the season pass us by, but I'm here to challenge you to make this Advent something very special for your family. As a mother of 5, I know how hard it can be to do something that will engage the hearts of every family member, but I have some fun ideas to share with you so that you family can really get Advent right this year. Nancy Bandzuch started Catholic Sprouts two years ago out of a desire to help her own family! She was struggling to find a way to teach her kids the faith every day in spite of busy schedules, distraction and the craziness of life. She was looking for something audio-based because her kids really responded to that, but there was nothing out there that was short, simple, and super easy to use; so she decided to make it herself! And the podcast was born! The response was immediate and overwhelming and sparked ideas for other products to help families teach the faith in a way that is easy, practical and beautiful. They discovered their passion for helping parents evangelize their children. This is a replay of an episode I recorded in 2012. Excuse the sound quality. Many of you may not even be doing ANY concerts this year, much less a Christmas concert. In this very short episode, I just wanted to share some of my thoughts on why I chose many years ago to not have Christmas concerts. Maybe this will give you an idea for the future, when concerts return and the pandemic is a thing of the past. Disclaimer - I do set students up in caroling groups and we go around the school, often with the choir. Easy - fun - very well received! This is the last episode of 2020. I look forward to bringing you more content next year. I'd love to hear from you! Send me a question or comment at jamesthedivine@gmail.com. www.jamesdivine.net

As schools start their annual winding down for the year, these last few weeks of term can be very stressful, due to end of year events, Christmas Concerts and added pressure on teacher who are often in the report writing stage. This is mean that not only are kids, parents and teachers tired, but for some children who are living with autism in particular, this time of year can feel so overwhelming. As the Mum of a, now young man, living with Autism, this was always the time of year when things could get very overwhelming.
