Pegasus Resources' CEO, Chris Timmins, joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news that the company has finalized an agreement with KD Prospect to acquire a 100% interest in the Jupiter Project, a strategic uranium project located in Utah. The Jupiter claim group is situated 3 kilometers north of Energy Sands and consists of 48 unpatented claims in sections 10 and 15, Township 21 S, Range 14 E SLPM, Emery County, Utah. The claims are within the Bureau of Land Management and are accessible via a well-maintained service road that connects to the I-70 highway. Timmins highlighted the acquisition of the Jupiter Project, along with the Energy Sands Project, as a significant opportunity for Pegasus and its investors. The Jupiter Project offers an advanced property with historical drilling data, which will be instrumental in developing a future resource estimate. The company intends to undertake the necessary work to create a resource estimate in accordance with the current CIM Definition Standards on Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves. Their exploration strategy includes twinning historical drill holes, conducting a geological re-log of old drill holes, and defining new drill targets. These activities aim to both expand known resources and discover new mineralization zones, enhancing the project's value and potential. #proactiveinvestors #pegasusresourcesin #tsxv #pega #otc #sltff #mining #uranium #gold #UraniumProject #JupiterProject #EnergySands #UtahMining #ResourceDevelopment #UraniumExploration #MiningIndustry #StrategicAcquisition #HistoricalDrilling #ResourceEstimate #MiningNews #CEOInterview #ProactiveNewsroom #DrillProgram #RegionalFocus #MiningAssets #ProjectExpansion #ResourceConfirmation#invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Pegasus Resources Inc CEO Chris Timmins joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with news the company has staked additional land in Utah adjacent to its 100% owned Energy Sands property. Timmins said the additional land expands its existing project in Emery County by 160%, strategically positioning the company closer to known deposits owned by Western Uranium and Vanadium. The new property boasts infrastructure, including roads and highways, alongside proximity to Western Uranium's proposed processing mill. Timmons emphasized the historical production of uranium on the Energy Sands property in the 1950s, taking 52 tons of uranium and vanadium out of the ground. The CEO outlined the company's upcoming plans, involving mapping, geological studies, and the application for drilling permits, setting the stage for a drill program in 2024. With uranium gaining significance as a critical metal, Timmons highlighted the growing demand for nuclear energy, driving Pegasus' exploration efforts across its five projects, including four in Canada's Athabasca Basin. #PegasusResources #UraniumMining #ChrisTimmons #ResourceExploration #MiningIndustry #UtahLandAcquisition #EnergySands #WesternUranium #GeologicalStudies #DrillProgram2024 #CriticalMetals #InfrastructureAdvantage #MiningUpdates #UtahProjects #GreenEnergy #NuclearPower #ExplorationEfforts #MiningTechnology #EnergyDemand #2024Plans #IndustryInsights #MineralResources #GeologyMapping #EconomicDeposits #ProactivInterview

Soil mapping involves interpreting landscapes, how soil changes across it, and a bit of art to represent repeatable patterns in a map. In my family, there is a story told about my great grandfather Jens Christian Jensen. A very unique and ingenious man for his time.Great Grandpa was a jack of all trades, raising a family on the alkali and prickly pear cactus flatlands of Emery County, Utah in the late 1800s and early 1900s. These were an industrious lot who found ways to irrigate arid lands scrape out a living in a place most folks would happily walk away from. But, Mormons, Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were pretty unpopular at the time. Just a few decades before they had been forcibly driven out of Towns they had built like Kirtland Ohio and Nauvoo Illinois to name a few, and they were happy to be in a place where there was no one trying to kill them and take their lands – probably because no one wanted the remote, arid, and barren place they choose to settle in.For Grandpa Chris there was another way - other than farming – along with a few others he was a prospector who found a very pure vein of uranium near Temple Mountain. The uranium helped provide a good living for the family but was quite likely the thing that ultimately took his life.

Episode 15 was a fun and easy episode to record. McCade spent the day shed hunting with Jeff Barlow, of Nimrod Outdoors, and his boy. Jeff found a nice single elk shed, while McCade ended up just hiking his guts out, as per usual! After a long day spent outdoors, they met up at the Barlow home in Emery County, and recorded their conversations. Jeff started Nimrod Outdoors, as a way to get more involved with his kids in the outdoors, and to share the adventures they have together! As a father of 7 kids, 6 boys and 1 girl, and living in the age of social media, he found it was a great way to connect with his growing children. Nimrod Outdoors has now expanded outside of the Barlow family, and includes 6 other fathers. With the expansion, they are getting more and more kids, who may not have an opportunity otherwise, involved in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. The name Nimrod, is derived from the Bible. Nimrod was known as a powerful man on earth, as well as a mighty hunter. As a religious man, a good father and husband, and a passionate outdoorsman, the name was a great fit, and the page Nimrod Outdoors was born! In one of their YouTube videos, Jeff’s oldest boy, Josh, shot a bull elk on a limited entry hunt in Utah. The bull ended up dying in a very challenging place to recover. Jeff recounts the “fun” memory of recovering the bull! Definitely go watch the video! Jacob, the second oldest Barlow bow, is a very talented baseball player! He loves hunting so much that he decided to quit baseball this year and spend more time on the mountain, shed hunting. Everyone knows that Jacob has incredible eyesight, and seems to ALWAYS be able to spot critters! Recently, little Joe, at 14 years old, was able to harvest his first turkey, and starts off the podcast by recounting his hunt. Also, go watch Joey’s first deer hunt on the Nimrod Outdoors Youtube Channel. His reaction is PRICELESS!!! Jace is turning 12 this year, and is very excited to hunt! The lonely daughter in the family, Maddy, makes her dad proud! She has her very own bow, and even asked for a BB Gun for Christmas. The two youngest boys watch hunting videos and participate in some outdoors adventures. Momma Nimrod also hunts, and with 20+ elk points, is looking forward to drawing a coveted Limited Entry Elk Tag in Utah soon! If you’re a father or mother, who is interested in getting your children interested in the outdoors, follow Nimrod Outdoors on social media for ideas! A woman was traveling through Green River in Emery County when she found herself in a difficult position. Her husband was a US Marine killed in action and she was all alone. She had travelled for a job opportunity that didn't pan out and thankfully it was Deputy Kay Jensen who found her. When the woman explained she had no food or money, Deputy Jensen opened his wallet and gave the woman all the cash he had. He didn't even hesitate. The woman began to cry stating she couldn’t take the money; Deputy Jensen put the money in the backpack the woman was carrying and told her to get something to eat and to think of only good things. Deputy Jensen then arranged for her to get to an airport so she could return to her family. This story was relayed to the Emery County Sheriff by a citizen witness. Had that witness stayed quiet, we would never have known this story because Deputy Jensen didn't tell anyone what he'd done. He's a humble man who serves the people of Emery County.
For generations, Emery and Carbon Counties have been key suppliers of coal, and energy to much of Utah. But some mines, and a power generating plant are being shut down, calling into doubt coal's future. But County leaders are not giving up on coal, as they look for other ways to bring economic opportunity in. (Photo, a worker at a newly opened robotics plant in Orangeville works on designs for future machines.)
Emery County has been one of the main producers of coals and mining over the many years in Utah. Places like Castle Dale mines have been the lifeblood of the community. Things are not like they used to be. The industry is on a steady decline. People are saying they are very nervous for the future. They are trying to find new ways to sell coal even if it is dying in the United States, but possibly try to take it internationally.
Even as boy, Dusty Butler wanted to be a police officer. Now he's a twenty year veteran in Emery County and is in charge of the Emery County Jail. For him, police work is service. In the jail, he's around troubled people all the time, but he's in a position to help them. It's rewarding to watch people leave jail and start a new life in a better direction. The jail is not the only place Butler is able to change lives and help people get a new start. One day, Sergeant Butler came across a man living out of his car. Using social media, Butler was able to secure a trailer and furnishings for the homeless man. He was able to mobilize the community to solve a problem that many others would have ignored.
