We are back with another Rodeo rider episode! This time we sat down with Jeff Chapman. Jeff is from Kansas City, Missouri, and is new to Rodeo Labs this year as he has waded further into the gravel thicket. Jeff started his journey into cycling around the pandemic and is now a two-time participant of Unbound. The race in Kansas has taken on extra meaning for Jeff whose day job is spent out on those same Flint Hills gravel roads. Nevertheless, as is common practice for Rodeo riders, the urge to explore has brought Jeff to expand his racing exploits and explores bigger challenges, most recently taking on a race in Germany. Jeff's story is different from our previous guests, but for me, it was very similar to the countless chats I've had with rodeo owners all across the country at races. Only this time did we turn on the microphones first! Host: Logan Jones-WilkinsGuest: Jeff ChapmanProducer: Logan Jones-Wilkins Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

"Urban Exploration" is a term used by many to describe trespassing, primarily in abandoned places, and over the last 20 years it has developed into its own counterculture and art genre. Today we'll talk about Jeff Chapman, also known as Ninjalicious. A Canadian who found his love for going into restricted areas during his struggle with a terminal illness, Ninjalicious would spend the remaining years of his life sharing his passion for trespassing and building the bedrock of the urban exploration movement. My guest in the episode is Ninjalicious' friend Avatar X, a legend among urban explorers in his own right who created the website UER.ca, the origin point for the community that Ninjalicious advocated for. Together we discuss why Ninjalicious matters so much if you want to really get where the urban exploration started. Show Notes --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/abandonedamerica/support

Welcome back to another episode of the Barnstormer Sports Podcast! We have a great lineup of topics for you tonight! We are talking Kentucky Derby, we’re talking a little MLB, and we also invite on a very special guest, all the way from Pasadena, Jeff Chappy Chapman! Jeff is the VIP host for Santa Anita Racetrack, he knows a lot about horse racing, and is also one of the hosts for Angel Radio out in LA at 8:30 every Saturday morning. We kick tonight off with some memories of the Kentucky Derby from a time when we drove U-Haul trucks for Levee Restaurants. Then it's time for a round of highlights from the world of Major League Baseball. We talk about the huge performance between the Dodgers and the Padres, lament the slow deterioration of the Cubs, and also give kudos to some amazing players like Mike Trout, Anthony Rizzo, and Jacob DeGrom. At about that time, Chappy joins us on the line. He can’t fault the Dodgers either even though they want to but when the conversation turns to the White Sox he just can't take it anymore and we move onto the Derby. Chappy weighs in on the three West Coast horses that are showing the most promise, Medina Spirit, Hot Rod Charlie, and Rock Your World, and we hear his praise for the quality of Bob Baffert and John Sadler’s training too. Before he leaves he gives us some long-shot picks and once he is off the line the rest of us do too, but compared to his insights, our guesses might as well be based on the color of the horses!Key Points From This Episode:Memories of driving U-Haul trucks working for Levee Restaurants during the Kentucky Derby.Talking Major League Baseball highlights and the performance of the different teams and players.Jeff Chapman joins the chat and highlights Rizzo striking out Frederick. The issue of how badly the Cubs are struggling and regressing.Jeff’s perspective that the Dodgers have it made even though he hates them.Whether the Giants have any chance considering the teams they are up against.Thoughts on who is coming out of the American League.Moving onto the Derby with all this talk of the Dodgers and White Sox.Jeff gives a rundown of the three West coasters, Medina, Hot Rod, and Rock Your World.Chappy gives us three long shots picks before he leaves!More long shot picks by our hosts on Midnight Bourbon, Bezos, Known Agenda, and more.Links Mentioned in Today’s Episode:Barnstormer Sports Podcast on FacebookBarnstormer Sports Podcast on InstagramJeff ChapmanTrevor BauerFernando TatisJacob DeGromMike TroutAnthony RizzoMedina SpiritRock Your WorldHot Rod CharlieBob BaffertJohn SadlerBezosKnown Agenda

She's a young girl's spirit trapped in a cat's body. While the magic that banished her has snatched away her human speech, it has given her a life spanning millennia. For centuries she has lived with the cunning folk, assisting their efforts to heal the sick and ward off malevolent creatures. Now a bleeding sickness has thrown the community into chaos.   The cunning man and his apprentice are in danger from the disease. The life Merliss has worked so long to build is in jeopardy. Before she entered the cat, she had trained to be a shaman. Do her centuries of experience hold a secret to a cure? But disease isn't her only nemesis.   A pair of malevolent creatures move into the neighborhood threatening more havoc. With disease and monsters ravaging the land, Merliss is up to her whiskers in trouble. It couldn't be worse, until a mob looking for a scapegoat turns its wrath on Merliss.   The Great Contagion is the gripping first novel in the dark fantasy Merliss Tales series. In this first micro episode of the Metaphysical Fitness Podcast, we are introduced to AwareWolves co-founder Jeff Chapman. As a scientist, Jeff's accomplishments speak for themselves. Jeff is also heavily involved in metaphysics and self help. He inspires others through many ways including his abilities as an endurance athlete. Jeff is currently on a mission to run a marathon in every US state, sometimes combining different states into one weekend trip. His mental toughness and insight are incredibly useful in today's world. Micro Episode 1: Religion VS Spirituality; Which will save humanity? Our conversations between members often gravitate towards the question of what the future hold for our civilization. If history has taught us anything it's that there are 2 models for how we will eventually be saved. Either the one true Godhead will reappear and save us or we will use our intelligence to innovate solutions to save us. Listen to Jeff's interesting take and decide. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/metaphysical-fitness/support
