Clarence and his band will be representing the Blue Ridge Blues Society at the 2011 International Blues Competition in Memphis Tennessee!   We started off the show with the festival headliner playing “Extra Jimmies” off of his The Essential Jimmie Vaughan CD.   So who else are we gonna hear from on today's Big Lick Blues Festival Preview? How about the incredibly talented female singer ! We'll hear “You Know You Love It” and “Hug Yourself”. You'll see why she was nominated by the Blues Foundation to be the “Contemporary Female Blues Artist of the Year” in 2008.   Next up, get ready to “Cook with the Hook”! It's cranking out three great blues numbers, “Dear John”, “Blues Ain't Nothin' But A Pimp”, and “One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer”… He makes it obvious why he is a two-time Grammy nominee!   will be bringing his Tilt-A-Whirl Band with him, but he's also bringing his very special guest !
