Racing Santander have spent 16 of the 26 match days this season So far as leader, but this week following their defeat to Eibar and Castellon's victory of Depor, we have a new leader at the top of the division as Pablo Hernandez has taken Castellon from the relegation zone to top of that table in 21 games. Down the bottom there was a good win for Huesca and a point a piece for Mirandes, cultural and real Zaragoza which does little to help any of them. There was plenty of refereeing controversy once again this week and we also saw the departure of Luis Tevenet at Real Valladolid following their 5-1 defeat to Granada. In part 1 we focus on the action up the top, Racing Santander's defeat to Eibar and CD Castellon's win over Depor. In Thursday's part 2 we will be focussing on matters down the bottom of the table, the sacking of Luis Tevenet at Real Valladolid following their 5-1 defeat to Granada, the 0-0 draw between Cultural Leonesa & Real Zaragoza and the upturn in form of Huesca who beat Ceuta by 2-0. This week saw Racing Santander revert to type, after beating Depor the week before they lost to a team in the relegation battle to give hope to the rest. Castellon, Depor, Almeria, Cordoba and Burgos closed the gap, so with Malaga still yet to play at the time of recording it was only Las Palmas in the top 8 who didn't take full advantage, although they did edge slightly closer with a draw. Down the bottom it was a good week for Albacete, Eibar and Granada, all three of whom are on mini runs of their own and chat about the bottom half of the table will make up the content of part 2 of this week's show. Dave shows us the reason he has joined a church choir, 70 years after his last time. It is Connecticut Music Educator and Burlington Congregational Church Music Director Emily Lombardo Castellon. Her enthusiasm for all manner of performing music is transmitted not only to her adult choir but also to the fifth- and sixth-grade members of her school's band. Emily represents the devoted practices of thousands of Music Teacher Educators across the Country. She and they transform lives—even Dave's.

Richard discusses why a study detecting nitazenes in wastewater was needed and what the future for detecting nitazenes in wastewater looks like, including implications for policy and practice. · What is wastewater analysis and how we use it in the field of drugs [01:21]· What are nitazenes and why they are a problem [02:28]· Why a study detecting nitazenes in wastewater was needed [03:31]· Whether there is a demand for nitazenes [04:08]· How Richard and his team chose the eight nitazenes to study [05:05]· The headline findings of the paper [05:55]· Whether a lack of nitazenes in wastewater means that they aren't there or they are in too low concentration to be found [08:16]· The benefits of wastewater analysis to detect nitazenes [09:37]· The surprisingly high level of nitazenes in Australia [10:37]· What we can learn for policy and practice [11:47]· The joy and difficulties working with many co-authors! [14:11]About Elle Wadsworth: Elle is an academic fellow with the Society for the Study of Addiction. She is based at the University of Bath with the Addiction and Mental Health Group and her research interests include drug policy, cannabis legalisation, and public health. He is interested in understanding links between environmental and community health using wastewater analysis. His particular research interests are associated with the surveillance, detection and identification of new psychoactive substances (NPS) in wastewater and other matrices as well as exploring the impact of chemical and pathogen exposure during mass gatherings. Dr Bade currently leads an expanding international consortium exploring the prevalence of NPS worldwide. These data can help provide insights into the emergence of new, potent NPS, and ensure that public harm from their exposure is minimized.

My guest on this episode is the newly crowned United States Amateur Champion, Josele Ballester from Castellon de la Plana, Spain. As you would imagine, Josele has been on quite the media blitz as of late. Lots of questions about the final match at Hazeltine against Noah Kent and his legion of Iowa fans. We did speak about the match, but we also dove into his start in the game in Spain, what ultimately made him decide to play college golf at Arizona State, and the other amateur accomplishemnts on his resume that played a huge role in his success at this year's U.S. Amateur. There is a lot of great information in this episode, I really enjoyed speaking with Josele and I'll see him throughout the college season now that Arizona State has moved to the Big 12 Conference. Carlos Manuel Castellon, CPA has more than 40 years of professional experience in tax and business advisory services. He frequently consults with foreign individuals and companies entering the United States with tax, financial, business, and immigration matters. In this episode, Carlos addresses the most frequently asked questions foreign buyers have when purchasing real estate in the U.S., including: Do I need a Visa to buy Real Estate in Florida? Should I buy under my name or under an entity? Should I finance my purchase? What is the best structure to reduce income taxes when investing in Real Estate? Since an LLC can expose me to an estate tax, how do we mitigate this? Is there an estate tax at the State or Federal level for holding Real Estate? What structure would eliminate the possible estate tax? Do you pay a lot of income tax in the US? Do I need to travel to establish an LLC or a corporation? If I put a down payment on a pre-construction project signed under my name, how do I change it to have a structure that is more appropriate? What is FIRPTA? Is there a way to defer income taxes when you have appreciation and sell the property? This week the guys are joined by the one and only David Castellon. David has seen it all in his 15 years in and around craft beer: from pounding porters in the family restaurant to building craft beer in early 2000s SoCal, guiding tours through Anchor's historic brewery, to his current role building brand and culture with Gravely Brewing. This conversation was as fascinating as it was wide-ranging. Come for the beer talk, stay for the film analysis (and some questionably earned LAT accolades). Matt spent the past week travelling to Andorra and then - via some days in Barcelona and Tarragona - to Villarreal to take in two Málaga away days in the space of one week. Plus, he made a pilgrimage to watch a former Spanish great play for CD Castellon. He decided to take his ‘Vamos a…' podcast on the road to record his road trip.Matt has more success this time around, as he finally gets to see Málaga win away from home, as the team triumphed in the very yellow surroundings of Villarreal's estadio. A great game and great atmosphere from the Malaguistas. Then Matt went off on a pilgrimage to see former Swansea great and Leeds cult hero Pablo Hernández play for 3rd tier Castellon, where he was unsurprised to find some Leeds fans on a similar pilgrimage.

Today's guest is an interior designer with a focus on and passionate about hospitality design. Valentina Castellon is the Principal and National Hospitality Design Leader at DLR Group based in Minneapolis. She enjoys seeing a project work its way from birth to completion. Valentina was also a Boutique 18 Inductee in 2020. Valentina joins the host Dan Ryan to share her journey and thoughts about the hospitality industry in the built environment. Takeaways: Hospitality is all about opening up your home and yourself to provide a memorable experience for anyone who stays with you. The hospitality industry is not for everyone, as it requires long hours and a lot of attention to detail, but the people who stay are bit by the “hospitality bug” and want to bring great designs to other people's lives. Whenever you think about hotel design, it might look pretty but there is a deeper meaning to it. Not only is the design aspect important, but it needs to serve a functional purpose as well Working in a collaborative process allows you to get voices from multiple different avenues. This can help point you in the right direction for a design or give you more data points for what works and what doesn't. When working on designs for different companies or spaces, you don't want to stay stagnant. You want your designs to be different and unique to the point that people will be asking who designed rather than it being the same design over and over again. When you have an influx of demand, you have to think about the three C's for your company; Your capacity to do the project, if it's a creative fit for your company and if you like working with the clients. Hospitality is a space that is meant to be shared and enjoyed by others. It allows you to reach people and their feelings all over the world and not just one particular area or group. Quote of the Show: 1:15 “Hospitality for me is…this idea of really opening yourself up and catering to other people.” Links: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/valentina-castellon-77a35650/ Website: https://www.dlrgroup.com/ Shout Outs: 5:17 Staci Patton 17:34 Dream Hotel Group 17:40 Hyatt 28:37 Bricklle, Miami Ways to Tune In: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0A2XOJvb6mGqEPYJ5bilPX Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/defining-hospitality-podcast/id1573596386 Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZGVmaW5pbmdob3NwaXRhbGl0eS5saXZlL2ZlZWQueG1s Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/8c904932-90fa-41c3-813e-1cb8f3c42419 Podbean: https://www.defininghospitality.live/ YouTube : https://youtu.be/ugLkgHQK2-M

Finding the balance between humor and hard work can help create a positive workplace culture. Eric and the guys break down why laughter is just as necessary as productivity. Eric shares his insight on: Balance between having fun vs. being productive Creating a culture of hard expectations mixed with humor The challenge of welcoming new members to your crew Easing in to talking shit and knowing the pecking order Understanding the big picture of winning and when more work is needed Allowing new team members to find their place, even if they never speak Working as a team and lifting each other up when things get rough Links to resources: The Pond Digger - https://theponddigger.com/ If you're looking for inspiration and tips for your pond, be sure to follow The Pond Digger's Instagram -https://www.instagram.com/theponddigger/!
