This week we have Rafael Diaz Wagner, co-writer, and producer of the new Cult Classic "Attack of the Killer Donuts." Yes, that is really the name of the film and it's glorious. He started making films with a Beta Camera when he was 10 years old. Since then Rafael has written or co-written over 15 screenplaysI wanted to find out how this film was made, marketed and sold. It's a wonderful case study. Check out the trailer below and get ready to laugh. Here a quote from the Hollywood Report review of the :"If John Waters and George Romero dropped acid together and then spent the night at their local Krispy Kreme, they might have concocted something like Attack of the Killer Donuts. But the fact that such a film actually exists, and is exactly what it claims to be about, is something that even the best drugs can't help explain."And here is the poster that got me interested in speaking to Rafael. They knew who their market was and marketed directly to them.Enjoy my conversation with writer/producer Rafael Diaz Wagner.

The little podcast that could is back again, but this time is more exciting, erotic, and a little weirder. In our first exciting episode of the new dawn of enlightenment (that the experts call 2021), Damian and Eric relive almost every "Svensday" (Wednesdays with Sven) since the summer of 2020. What's "Svensday"? Well...the cast of Damian Duffy After Dark sits outside socially distant (even in the freezing cold) to drink beer, watch movies, pet dogs, wolf Cheez-its, and wax philosophic about how awesome of a time we live in. We rehash and review (with in-depth, educated, and probing synopsis) films like "Attack of the Killer Donuts," "Spaghetti Man," "Holidays", "Idiocracy," "#Alive," "Okja," and "As Above, So Below." Looking to have fun during the pandemic, well watch these films and more at your very own "Svensday" in your yard today! Buy our "Svensday" shirts to be part of the gang! You're welcome! Intro/Outro music from www.bensound.com.
This week your boys decide they need new names, so please welcome Brenocide, Joe Thrasnkool, and uhhhh... 365 Days of Horror. Breno remembers Alexi Laiho (1979-2020) and music that impacted us in high school. We're delving into the punk rock donut shop union busting going on by former Drive Like Jehu drummer and punk producer Mark Trombino. Not very punk rock! Joe tracked down an old external hard drive and we're talking about the CANCELLED MySpace-era shit we used to listen to that is thankfully lost to the sands of time, old MP3 players increasing in value, and other Old Ways in Music. Finally, we're talking about Jon Schaffer getting arrested and speculating WILDLY on what will happen next (with a musical contribution). It's a good one. Music featured on this episode: FULCI - Zombie Slam Squad Don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe to Toilet Radio on iTunes so you’ll get new episodes automatically. Or use Stitcher if you don’t fuck with Apple. (The image up top is from Attack of the Killer Donuts, a movie I have not yet seen but features the acting talents of C. Thomas "Soul Man" Howell so uhhhh ymmv)

Which brings us to our show today. The Creature Feature Dinner Theater will not only feature nasty monsters, sharks, wild animals, aliens, creatures, goblins and ghouls...but we will also be concocting a special drink and/or meal to go with the movie for the evening. For our second feature we are bringing you the 2016 horror comedy "ATTACK OF THE KILLER DONUTS". Check it out for the movie review/dissection and the recipe for our special "Attack of the Raspberry Donut" adult beverage as our finisher. Leave the kids at home and enjoy responsibly!

Thomas Howell in its cast. This raucous discussion of this off the wall movie is sure to keep you entertained. We certainly had fun!

Jersey City native Vince Royale was always the class clown and hip hop fan, though he never thought comedy or music would be his career. Currently living in Los Angeles, the former homeless salesman turned stand up comedian/actor/rapper is currently on the Netflix original series "Cooking On High" and has appeared in the entire season of MTV’s “Bad Sex”, "Laughs" on Fox, “Stand Up and Deliver” on Hulu, "Not for Nothin" on Amazon Prime and currently on the horror comedy film "Attack of the Killer Donuts" on Showtime. Vince has been regularly performing in Los Angeles hot spots, New York night clubs, and touring internationally for nearly a decade. My guest on today's show is Comedian Vince Royale, a Jersey City native, who was always the class clown, though he never thought comedy would be his career. Vince currently lives in Los Angeles, who he refers to himself as "the former homeless salesman turned stand-up comedian." He has appeared in the entire season of MTV’s “Bad Sex”, "Laughs" on FOX, FUSE TV's “Stand Up and Deliver” and presently on a TV show titled "Not for Nothin" on Amazon Prime and in a film "Attack of the Killer Donuts" on Showtime. Vince has been regularly performing throughout the Los Angeles area hot spots, New York nightclubs, and touring internationally for nearly a decade. Vince is extremely down-to-earth and full of charisma and he has an uncanny ability to turn the things he sees into hilarity. Vince also performs as multiple sketch characters which he incorporates into his stand-up, parody music videos, and comedy sketch videos on social media networks. He is humble and says that his passion for comedy and ability to do what he loves in front of an audience is indeed a blessing. Vince utilizes his talents to inspire and promote positivity. He organizes comedy and music events for fundraisers and donation drives to benefit orphanages and homeless shelters in the U.S. and abroad. Upcoming performances and locations: June 14-16: Jokers Comedy Club (Richland, WA) June 21: Wild Horse Casino (Pendleton, Or) July 20-22: Edgewater Casino (Laughlin, NV) July 23: Hon-Dah Resort (Pinetop, AZ) August 11: Petco Park (San Diego, CA) September 13-14: Nugget Casino (Sparks, NV) September 25: Improv (Brea, CA) Follow Vince Royale on social media: Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/vinceroyalecomedy Bruno Barz - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100015248250409 Character Flaws - https://www.facebook.com/groups/723126011171151/ Instagram - @VinceRoyale Twitter - @VinceRoyale #VinceRoyale #VinceRoyaleComedian #ComedianVinceRoyale #BrunoBarz #VinceRoyaleBrunoBarz #VinceRoyaleThrillafromManila #CharacterFlaws #VinceRoyaleCharacterFlaws #AnnieTalks #AnnieTalksVinceRoyale --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Oh snap! In part 1 of SMS! 24, Phoenix West and Jansen Carlin review the 2016 'film' Attack Of The Killer Donuts. Plenty to cover here: the most oblivious main character in movie history, his misunderstood genius uncle releases a toxin that apparently makes donuts eat people, fart jokes every 20 minutes, Phoenix falls in love, erotic mac-n-cheese, literal mother fucking and we learn that simply mashing crusty keyboard keys will fix the town's laptop. Watch part 2 of this episode to see the Ghost Warrior review.
We got stuck watching Attack Of The Killer Donuts from 2016, the year of our lord. It seemed like soft-core porn but it ended up being a watchable movie that didn't take itself seriously. We have no real opinions about this movie one way or another. It just was. They pointed their camera at stuff and made a movie out of that footage. You did it! To watch the B-Movie Battle! review of this shitty movie, click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-AnuPMJgkU
This week we're sinking out teeth into the deliciously campy B-movie "Attack of the Killer Donuts". This indie movie combines elements of "Re-animator" with the cult classic "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" along with sprinkling in other classic horror movies and what we get is Homer Simpsons worst nightmare. You dough-not want to miss this episode.
Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea, The Intern and Amanda for the first 20 minutes of Trailer Park Podcast 91! We discuss making choices that could change your life forever as the much anticipated Del Toro film, The Shape of Water headlines episode 91. Molly's Game is on deck and Jessica Chastain appears to be playing a fast talking, no nonsense, self righteous woman in a man's world. The theme of episode 91 is cleaning up our act and making amends and all the money in the world can't put a horror movie back in episode 90 so naturally a double fulcrum is called for. Radius and Attack of the Killer Donuts tag team us in the 3 hole. Radius is the story of a man with amnesia who cannot have anyone come within 50 feet of him or they will die. Attack of the Killer Donuts is about Killer Donuts. I, Tonya is our fifth trailer in the 4 slot and is based on the true story of the figure skating scandal involving Tonya Harding. There is a lot riding on this one as both Chelsea and Daniel have decreed that if the movie doesn't deliver they will never say they are excited about a biopic ever again. The finale for episode 91 stars Dwayne, hard as a rock Johnson in the Jumanji reboot and this time we are talking video instead of board game and body transference. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

On this episode of BEHIND THE LENS we're setting you up for a perfect holiday weekend with a little light reading and something tasty to snack on thanks to our guests director SCOTT WHEELER, producer RAFAEL DIAZ-WAGNER, and KELLEY SMOOT GARRETT. Classic film fans who missed KELLEY SMOOT GARRETT last time she was with us, can catch up now as she's back talking about PRINCESS APRIL MORNING-GLORY, a beautiful fairy tale by Letitia Fairbanks all hand done in illuminated calligraphy with exquisite illustrations. As Letitia's step-daughter, Kelley is now completing the book's journey of publication, something Letitia and her father were never able to do due to technologic limitations in the 1940's. A fairytale strongly influenced by "Uncle Douglas", Kelley talks about Douglas Fairbanks' motto of "3 Good Deeds" and how that influenced Letitia and "Princess April". And Kelley drops a big surprise on BTL about the upcoming 100th anniversary of United Artists which was founded by Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin and D.W. Griffith, as well as plans to re-release Letitia's biography on Douglas Fairbanks, "The Fourth Musketeer". And who doesn't like donuts? Donuts are great snack food while you're reading Princess April. . .or when watching a movie, especially a movie like ATTACK OF THE KILLER DONUTS! A horror comedy you can really sink your teeth into, director SCOTT WHEELER and producer/co-writer RAFAEL DIAZ-WAGNER are on hand at the midpoint of the show and tell us about this fun, and ambitious, film, and the VFX and practical in-camera hijinks that make the donuts extra tasty. From comedy to script to visual effects to action, we've got some tasty insight from Scott and Rafael on the making of KILLER DONUTS! http://behindthelensonline.net http://eliasentertainmentnetwork.com

Dumb Nerds: Comedians Talking About Smart Topics They're Too Dumb For
Actor/Comedian Grant O’Connell (“Attack of the Killer Donuts”, Garbáge) is on to talk about chess! Chess has been around since 6th Century in India and today there are tournaments around the world and the current greatest chess player in the world, Magnus Carlsen, has a Twitter with 152K followers. There is controversy whether Magnus is the best player. Many argue Viswanathan Anand is the best and he currently has 371K followers! People love chess! Grant and Cassi bond over how they were both in Chess Club back in grade school. (Cassi is way more nerdy about it than Grant.) They talk about the history of chess, how’s it’s evolved, Alan Turing and the Turing Test, Bobby Fischer and his controversy with the US about participating in a chess tournament in the Soviet Union. Cassi’s cats, Meemo and Selma, make a few cameos; and Grant talks about how he hates magic, in chess he uses his self-taught “Might Ducky’s method” and he grossly refers to pawns as nipples. Grant also thinks the fast food chain Wendy’s is way more popular than chess today. Cassi couldn’t disagree more and proves him wrong with facts about how much money the average chess master makes today and how the greatest chess players in the world have more Twitter followers than they ever will. But the fact that such a film actually exists, and is exactly what it claims to be about, is something that even the best drugs can’t help explain."And here is the poster that got me interested in speaking to Rafael. They knew who their market was and marketed directly to them.Enjoy my conversation with writer/producer Rafael Diaz Wagner.
