O.J. Simpson walked away a free man while Fuhrman's life fell into shambles. March 2 - Domestic ViolenceO.J. Simpson's history of domestic violence was a focal point for the prosecution. The defense claimed it didn't prove he was a murderer. Nicole Brown's sister details the abuse within their relationship. March 9 - Racial TensionThe defense used the racial tension in Los Angeles to their benefit during the O.J. Simpson murder trial. The goal: convince jurors that the LAPD could not be trusted and were capable of planting evidence. March 16 - Attack the Timeline Did O.J. Simpson have enough time to murder Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman? The defense dissected the timeline to raise reasonable doubt. Detective Tom Lange and prosecutor Bill Hodgman explain their window of opportunity. March 23 - The Bloody Gloves It's the most infamous moment of the trial, when the prosecution forced O.J. to put on the bloody glove in court. Did this and "shoddy" police work lose them the case? Defense attorney F. Lee Bailey takes us inside the pivotal courtroom moment and how O.J.'s "Dream Team" attacked the flawed investigation. March 30 - Inside the Jury Room The world watched as the verdict in the "Trial of the Century" came down. The Goldmans share their reaction and Juror #6, Lon Cryer, describes what happened behind closed doors. Was justice served or did O.J. In addition to numerous dramatic courtroom moments, the trial was most notable for its strong racial overtones, its impact on the judiciary system and how it spurred Americans across the nation to openly discuss the issues surrounding domestic violence for the first time. The in-depth look at the O.J. trial 30 years later will complement a number of major cases that Court TV is closely covering in real-time, including the upcoming Arizona murder trial of "Cult Mom" Lori Vallow who is representing herself in court, the retrial of Karen Read in the killing of her boyfriend, and the trial of Bryan Kohberger, who stands accused of murdering four University of Idaho college students. MICHAEL AYALA BIO Michael Ayala, an attorney and EMMY®-Award winner, has returned to Court TV. Kim Goldman is a victims' rights advocate, championing justice and remembrance for victims. After her brother Ron Goldman was murdered alongside friend Nicole Brown on June 12, 1994, Kim suddenly found herself thrust into the media spotlight while vulnerably trying to grieve. Today, less than a week after the death of one the key players within this story, I revisit my conversation with Kim. Join us as we reflect on the part of her life that was changed permanently and her feelings on speaking with prosecutors, investigators, and witnesses who never got to speak and jurors who voted not guilty for her podcast series Confronting: O.J. Simpson. Plus, she'll share how she continues to honor her brother by supporting victims and families that face similar tragedies. My friends, this episode reminds us of the non-linear journey of grief and yet, the transformative power of turning personal losses into impactful support for others.

It's our monthly New and Notable episode for October, and this month we've got intriguing new podcasts and exclusive interviews with some of their creators. True crime is one of the most popular podcast genres, but the stories we hear don't often centre the victims or the people left in the wake of tragedy. That's what the new podcast Media Circus with Kim Goldman aims to change. The course of Goldman's life changed when her brother, Ron Goldman, was murdered alongside OJ Simpson's ex wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. In the media circus that ensued, and her enduring grief, Kim was struck by the disparity between how the media covers crime and what it's like to be personally affected by it. This week, Kim joins us for an interview about her hopes for the podcast and what she's learned from speaking to so many families stricken by trauma. Plus, a conversation with one of the creators of Hot Money, the series that takes listeners inside the porn industry. And, Serena and Venus Williams are revered as tennis greats, but it hasn't always been that way. This week we're bringing you the inspiring minds behind the latest and greatest podcasts – and, of course, a sampling of their work. Today on the Tim DeMoss Show, our guest is Kim Goldman, sister of Ron Goldman, who was a murder victim alongside his friend Nicole Brown Simpson, at Brown's home in Los Angeles on June 12, 1994. Simpson's ex-husband, OJ Simpson, was acquitted of their killings but found liable for both deaths in a civil lawsuit a few years later. Kim has lived through one of the most high-profile murder cases in American history, having to deal with her grief in a very public manner. 28 years after her brother's tragic death, she's turned her pain into a positive mission, now serving as the co-chair of the National Center for Victims of Crime, a non-profit organization that advocates for victims' rights and trains professionals who work with victims. She has also made appearances at CrimeCon in Las Vegas to advocate for victims and survivors.  Goldman shares more about her new podcast, Media Circus, which connects listeners with the real people and family members of violent crime victims to share their stories, with a deeper perspective beyond media coverage.
