Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has confirmed Mohamed Salah is ruled out of Liverpool Premier League trip to Brighton Hove Albion Saturday due to a muscle injury and will miss Egypt international fixtures too. 00:00 INTRO 00:20 Unusual [he is injured], I think you expect the outcome so he is not available for tomorrow. Good thing for LFC is we go to international break, bad news for Egypt, he can't go there. On Gomez: He might be - might be - available tomorrow but not to start." 1:30 on Brighton “We now face an attractive and interesting style v Brighton, which makes it complicated.” 3:00 Frimpong is an explosive player unfortunately games come fast he got injured and now Joe being out Brighton always been a team who want to play and make it intense game. 5:30 we are struggling to score goals it's unbelievable we don't score more especially the quality we have. 7:00 - On 12:30 kick off: I don't mind at all playing 12.30 because we train usually around then. So if we could not perform at that time it is stupid to train at that time. I don't mind it all but I do mind Sunday evening, 6.20pm when we finished v Spurs 8:28 On Salah scoring goals: He has always done this really well. He has done this so well in his career, to shut it down and create a goal and an assist, it is the experience he has." 9:55 on Brighton : they want to play both games we played vs them very equal and we won them both league and cup. 11:29 On Salah injury: It's a muscle issue.. 11:40 On Szoboszlai...: “I don't know how many times I say this, please keep asking me - Dominik is a midfielder, should I say this 5/6times? The moment I play him right-back, it is not because I am tactical genius, it is the best available player for the position. 14:00 On his contract: “We don't talk about contracts here." 14:35 On UCL and Brighton turn around; When we come back PSG, Fulham, PSG again, that is far from ideal. But we also have to accept this because we want this programme, 15:40 schedule: it's complicated and difficult tv really want to broadcast us 17:35 On Salah form Gala at home is different to Leeds or Sunderland. It is always my aim and every manager's aim to get their goalscorers in the best positions." 19:03 END @HaytersTV – Football Up Close. Just three points separate the Lads and Liverpool heading into our clash at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday, but can we leapfrog them with a win to keep our unbeaten home run going? A combination of low confidence, apathy, and a whole host of other negative emotions have engulfed Liverpool's season, and they head to Wearside on the back of just one win in their last seven games. So what can we expect? The excellent Henry Jackson from This Is Anfield joins us to let us know. Enjoyed the episode? Spectators who were at the Premier League victory parade in Liverpool on Monday have raised questions as to why car access wasn't totally blocked off. A local man in his 50s has been arrested after a car was driven at soccer fans, with 27 people in hospital and a further 20 treated at the scene. They were on the streets for an open top bus parade with Liverpool FC players and staff, showing off the Premier League trophy. Jenna from Wexford was there with her 11-year-old son and husband, and is critical of the organisation of the event... Meanwhile, Taoiseach Micheal Martin has called the incident "shocking"... To discuss this further, Alan Morrissey was joined by Liverpool fan from Limerick, Eugene O'Connor. Photo(C): Tembela Bohle from Pexels via canva

Liverpool rounded off a victorious Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw with FA Cup winners Crystal Palace at Anfield. But the match itself was far from the main focus for Reds reporter David Lynch, who believes instead the day was all about the fact that this success could be the start of something special. In this latest match review, he discusses hopes for the future, the reception received by Trent Alexander-Arnold, and the strength of the league as a whole.
