Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital saw Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) issuing a stern warning to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) to maintain her distance from his wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), also known as BLQ. Despite Chase's threats, Lulu's curious nature might provoke her to dig further into BLQ's affairs. Lulu recently discovered that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) fathered a child with BLQ, a revelation that has stirred up a whirlwind of emotions and complications. BLQ believes that telling Dante would be pointless considering the child was given up for adoption. GH sees Lulu, after accessing Martin Gray's (Michael E Knight) legal files illegally, presented BLQ with an ultimatum to tell Dante or face the consequences. Chase's adamant defense of his wife and Lulu's relentless pursuit of the truth could potentially lead to a series of explosive events. Moreover, Lulu might enlist the help of Dante's father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), adding more fuel to the fire on the ABC soap opera. Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital spoilers reveal a major revelation involves Sidwell, leading to Jason confronting Tracy. Carly and Nina form an unlikely alliance to eliminate Drew from Willow's life. Meanwhile, Trina and Ava Jerome share some quality time, and Ava finds herself in a heated exchange with Christina. Other GH spoilers show that Martin Gray, Willow's lawyer, questions her desire for a divorce, while Jason faces off with Tracy, leading to a heated argument about Sasha's pregnancy. Jason then has a meeting with Sasha, presumably to discuss Michael's stance on the baby's life. Cody, dealing with his own emotional turmoil, opens up to Felicia. Sonny, on the other hand, seems to be receiving good news. The mystery around Sidwell continues to deepen as it is revealed that his man was following Natalia, not Sonny. Later in the week, Carly and Jack Brennan enjoy a night out in Port Charles, while Jason discusses Sam's murder with Danny. Alexis seeks a favor from Tracy, and Jocelyn finds herself needing to explain her actions. As Valentine's Day approaches, Alexis makes an appeal to Jason, possibly regarding the murder of Sam. Ava receives an enticing offer, and Christina finds herself enraged. Rick, on the other hand, seems hesitant and is having second thoughts. The John Muir Way. A coast-to-coast waymarked path stretching from Dunbar on the east coast of Scotland to Helensburgh on the west. This week's guest took on the entire route, all 134 miles of it, in a oner last weekend. Say hello to Martin Gray, a man whose mission was powerful. Martin joins us after a thorough intro where we cover this weekends West Highland Way Race, the warm weather, another Stevie Boy running rant and we've another round of our comeback feature 'Race or Not?' Martin regales to us his running history, how he got into a sport and blossomed, how it changed his life forever and how he's become indebted to his running coach who he values enormously. Martin is no stranger to big challenges with a mighty progression made in his running distances and times as he learned his craft - hard work and sacrifice reaping reward by the way of finish lines and (impressive) finish times. His why for choosing the John Muir Way endeavour though is a real personal one, in memory of his old man he set off on his cross-country adventure. The goal, apart from having the running experience of a lifetime, was to raise money for Beatson Cancer Charity. Come listen in and discover how he phenomenally achieved both. Martin talks us through the event prep, the supporting cast he's indebted to and then onto how his journey panned out on what turned out to be one of those rare Scottish days, that's right the sun was blazin' and the temperatures were soaring. How did he cope with the inevitable attrition, what forces of nature drove him onwards to that finish line? Martin labours on paying regard to the many many people who supported him, whether that was donating to his fundraising attempts, joining him along the route for a few minutes or a few hours or even just by sending him a simple message. So, step on in to the YHRF studio to hear how this gallus lad from Bishopton ran home, with purpose, will and determination. For his Da. You can still sponsor Martin's fundraising, please give generously to a simply awesome cause https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/martin-gray77
As you get older you get slower?? This week's guest Mark Gallacher knows otherwise! Before Mark joins us for a thorough chatter of his astonishing running story we have our customary weekly round up with your hosts big Friday night road trip to the Black Rock 5 in Kinghorn rightly taking centre stage! Mark then joins in the laughs, a well-known face in the Scottish running circuit, Mark's performances across a range of distances catch our eye on an almost weekly basis. And he's not shy at telling us all about how he's went from beers, gigs and cigs to races, shwanks and podiums. Mark's progression in running is jaw dropping. He's grabbing a second chance at the sport with both hands and is striving to keep on improving as he enters his 6th decade. Not only a talented athlete Mark also has a talent for writing, conveying his thoughts and experiences on his brilliant (and award winning!) yet inappropriately named blog, ‘The most irritating runner in Scotland?' (link at bottom of show notes) We spend most time talking through Mark's recent exploits at the Edinburgh Marathon, a distance he's not unfamiliar with but one he'd not taken on for 5 years. He had a target, he set aboot getting it with a regimented approach to training and making sure all his bases were covered. With a burgeoning medal hanger proudly displaying his growing number of achievements Mark speaks to us with an air on incredulity, even he can't quite believe how far he's come. And he's not finished yet either, far from it in fact! Singing praises of everyone around him but leaving his own abilities in the shadow are a measure of the man, that pride though in talking about his outings for Scotland and that extensive list of honours is apparent throughout. With a right good idea of how your YHRF hosts roll Mark allows us to get into the nitty gritty of his running inspirations. So, pull up a chair, you're going to enjoy this absolute classic of an episode! Clare explores the wild and stormy west coast of mainland Orkney in the company of beachcomber, conservationist and former Polar-guide, Martin Gray. Their plan to walk along the cliffs between Yesnaby and Marwick Bay were stymied by consistently high winds of around 60mph. Instead they watched the churning ocean at Yesnaby, drove to the Bay of Skaill for a walk along the rocky beach, then headed up to Birsay for a very slightly more sheltered walk to the Earl's Palace. This is the first of three consecutive Orkney walks. Next week Clare is with Sandra Miller of Historic Environment Scotland walking from the Stones of Stenness to the Ring of Brodgar. Hey there All Stars! It's time for another episode of the show! In this oversized edition, I'll be joined by friend of the show, Martin Gray! He's going to help me tackle a huge story that covers some real life events that happened during WWII, right here in the states (but of course, with a comic book twist). The All-Star Squadron and a couple of JSA'ers are up against a seething racist, and his band of miscreants! Can they stop this madman or will he use his mysterious power to convert even more people to follow him? As usual, you can email the show with any feedback at Aworldonfirepodcast@gmail.com or to the show's Twitter account @AllSquadron or to me @Billyd_licious and you can find Martin @MartGray (and definitely check out his blog Dangermart.blog)! And as always, thanks for listening and interacting with the show! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/stephen-strange02/message
Hey everybody, I'm back with another comic book review. Since the Christmas season is upon us, I thought it would be appropriate to talk about this great comic from DC that reprinted some awesome holiday stories from years past (late Silver Age though the Copper Age). And I asked one of my best friends to join me! Please welcome, Martin Gray! You make know him from his blog (Dangermart.blog) or from his huge catalogue of guest appearances on podcasts, such as A World on Fire; an All-Star Squadron Podcast, or the Fire and Water Podcast Network. The two of us sit down and talk about this oversized comic, and get into the holiday spirit! As usual, you can contact the show by email at MagazinesandMonsters@gmail.com or to me on Twitter @Billyd_licious (Mart is at @MartGray), or on the FB page. Thanks for listening!
Hey there, All Stars! It's a very special episode this time, as we welcome a guest to the show! One of our dearest friends, Martin Gray, joins us to talk about a favorite story of his! The team faces off against the Black Dragon Society! This story from the past (aren't they all?), is a real cracker, and we enjoyed talking about it with Mart quite a bit! As usual, you can leave feedback for the show at Aworldonfirepodcast@gmail.com or to the show's Twitter account @Allsquadron (I'm @Billyd_licious and Herm is @darklongbox). Definitely check out Mart's blog (dangermart.blog), as he talks a lot of DC comics! And give him a follow on Twitter @MartGray as well. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/stephen-strange02/message

Paul is still stranded in the US after HeroesCon, so it's very timely that some listeners petitioned for the inclusion of the Wonder Woman story that starts with The Contest and ends with The Challenge of Artemis arc. Not only did they advocate for the 12 issue run to be included as part of the recently identified 'Replacement Trilogy', Dr Anj and Diabolu Frank with Martin Gray recorded and edited the whole episode giving Mike and Paul a deeply appreciated break. The event ran from Wonder Woman 90 - 100, 0 in 1994. Created by William Messner-Loebs, Mike Deodata Jr, John Costanza, Patricia Milvihill, Paul Kupperberg and Brian Bolland. The Orkney Isles are one of the best places for wildlife in the country. Species such as seals and puffins which are hard to find in other parts of the UK can often be spotted in Orkney with ease. Helen Mark visits to discover for herself the incredibly rich beaches, cliff tops and moorland on the islands. Despite the display of rare species on offer Helen finds that even here marine life is increasingly threatened by an array of problems and once thriving populations are now in decline. She talks to Martin Gray, the Orkney beachcomber who has dedicated his life to cleaning up the shores of his home. She learns how to capture the flight of the Arctic Skua on paper with artist Tim Wooton. Helen visits the 'sea bird city' at Marwick Head and discovers how their decline, as well as that of the harbour seal, is being tracked using mobile technology. Can conservationists learn enough about the feeding habits of the most threatened species to halt the decline? The nature lovers of Orkney continue to hope they can.

Overview: David Tosch has an accomplished career as a business leader in the dental laboratory industry and as an ultra-marathon and endurance runner. He is also the founder of a company that creates shorter and longer distance trail runs, including ultra endurance trail runs. In this episode we talk about breaking audacious goals into shorter, more achievable goals. David’s Biography: David Tosch is an accomplished business leader, and ultramarathon runner. He credits his start in distance running to a time in junior high school, when he realized that to be a distance runner in track he didn’t have to run fast. He attended the University of Texas system, graduating from the Univesity of Texas at Dallas Cum Laude with a degree in accounting. He ran his first marathon around the 1979-1980 timeframe and in 1980 he founded Tosch Laboratory, Inc. (Dental Laboratory) in Dallas, Texas, and later moved the lab to Birmingham, AL. His list of marathons and ultra endurance runs is extensive, including multiple 100 mile endurance runs, such as The Pinhoti 100,The Leadville 10, the Wasatch 100, the Tahoe Rim Tiral 100, The Rocky Raccoon 100, the Grindstone 100 and the Hardrock 100. He has also participated in numerous Ironman events and even had the opportunity to run with Bill Rogers in 1980. David is the founder of Southeastern Trail Runs and the Run For Kids Challenge, which raises money for Camp Smile-A-Mile. Show Notes: People may not realize what they can truly accomplish in life and by setting a series of goals along a path to an overall stretch goal they may be able to reach new levels of achievement. David shows people how to do this by creating a series of runs, starting out at 5k at the beginning of the trail running season and going all the way up to 100 miles at the end of the season. From a business leadership standpoint this may be thought of as creating a series of SMART goals to achieve stretch goals. SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely. David discussed the need for runners to think about safety when planning their trail runs and consider some of the safety requirements that go into it. Lessons may be drawn from this and compared to High-Reliability Organizations (HRO). Sign up for our Newsletter here, or go to: www.v-speedsafety.com/email-subscription Time-Stamped Show Notes 0:45-Randy introduces David Tosch and describes who he is, including reading his “informal” biography. 3:15- Randy asks David, “Okay, we’ve heard your formal bio, but tell us what makes you tick, what motivates you, what inspires you, or generally why you do what you do?” 5:47-David describes how he got inspired to run marathons after watching Frank Shorter win the Gold Medal in the marathon at the 1972 Olympic Games. 8:12-Randy asks David about his current projects and work and David describes the origins of Southeastern Trail Runs and describes his charitable work with Camp Smile-A-Mile in Alabama. 13:55-David describes how he created a method to teach people how to run competitive trail runs starting with a 3 mile run and working at progressively longer runs up to 50 miles over the course of a trail running season. 15:30-David describes Zig Ziglar’s methodology of breaking long term goals into shorter term goals and how this approach has influenced his trail running program. 17:13-Randy asks David to describe stories about people who started running shorter distances and worked up to ultra endurance runs. 24:24-Randy describes Crew Resource Management training and the benefits. 25:42-Randy describes breaking ultra visions into step-wise goals and the analogy of breaking down long runs into smaller goals and business leaders creating visions and breaking them into shorter-term goals. David describes techniques and how he “tricks himself” to help him achieve his long term goals when the runs get to their hardest points. 29:09-Randy takes David’s advice and makes the connection to achieveing safety or quality goals, such as an ISO certification. 29:40-Randy asks David, “If you could be granted one wish for your outlook on charity, personal development, or limiting beliefs what would it be?” David describes his desire for people to be better stewards with national parks and trails.
