And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur. 29 The name of Abishur's wife was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid. 30 The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled died childless. 31 The son17 of Appaim: Ishi. When we share our stories we touch the lives of others.  There are pivotal points in our life where we get to choose happiness and joy. There's freedom and we get to choose our states! Our brain runs away from us. We need to be the ones to put on the breaks because we have so much control in that area.  Our subconscious mind can be our most loyal assistant ever. Everything that is a part of your life right now is because you've created it by the beliefs in your mind. When you can internalize that, it's freedom! Starting to understand that allows you to be in charge. It allows you to come in and make the changes you want to make. It's not difficult when it's all inside of your mind! It's shifting the way we think, the beliefs held so deeply. When we do that we come into a different space, a different resonance, a different place to be. We don't need to hold fear about what subconscious beliefs we carry. We likely received them when we were tiny. If you can dig down and find out what the belief is that you carry and rearrange that belief you are able to respond differently to it.  Our energetic state is affecting the people around us. We have power to influence the energy of the room around us through our energetic state.  Our heart knows before our brain. It's so important to listen to our heart. Today's bonus episode is my sit-down conversation with Georgia State Representative Mesha Mainor (GA-56), who served three years in the Georgia General Assembly as a Democrat. After being bullied, ostracized and left as stranded as a shipwrecked sailor on an island, Rep. Mainor decided it was time to switch parties. It was such a pleasure to spend 30 minutes with Mesha to talk about her experience running as a Democrat and how she came to realize the only party actually helping her, was the GOP. She is one of those politicians who remembers she is there to represent the will of her constituents. She does not believe her election gave her power to rule, but rather to server. She is a strong believer in school choice, of safe streets and of law enforcement. Her constituents are wanting the same and yet she found herself cut-off and even primaried in the last election. Now, the Democrat leadership is going to come after her with everything they have for daring to put the people of the 56th district ahead of the agenda of the party. It's a fascinating look at how someone tried to work within the party to which she was felt affiliated, until they decided she wasn't going to be controlled. Mesha tells how Chemosh, the god of Moab, had been angry with his people and had allowed them to be subjugated to the Kingdom of Israel, but at length, Chemosh returned and assisted Mesha to throw off the yoke of Israel and restore the lands of Moab. Mesha also describes his many building projects. It is written in a variant of the Phoenician alphabet, closely related to the Paleo-Hebrew script. The stone was discovered intact by Frederick Augustus Klein, an Anglican missionary, at the site of ancient Dibon (now Dhiban, Jordan), in August 1868. A "squeeze" (a papier-mâché impression) had been obtained by a local Arab on behalf of Charles Simon Clermont-Ganneau, an archaeologist based in the French consulate in Jerusalem. The next year, the stele was smashed into several fragments by the Bani Hamida tribe, seen as an act of defiance against the Ottoman authorities who had pressured the Bedouins to hand over the stele so that it could be given to Germany. Clermont-Ganneau later managed to acquire the fragments and piece them together thanks to the impression made before the stele's destruction. The Mesha Stele, the first major epigraphic Canaanite inscription found in the region of Palestine, the longest Iron Age inscription ever found in the region, constitutes the major evidence for the Moabite language, and is a "corner-stone of Semitic epigraphy", and history.[7] The stele, whose story parallels, with some differences, an episode in the Bible's Books of Kings (2 Kings 3:4–28), provides invaluable information on the Moabite language and the political relationship between Moab and Israel at one moment in the 9th century BCE. It is the most extensive inscription ever recovered that refers to the kingdom of Israel (the "House of Omri"); it bears the earliest certain extrabiblical reference to the Israelite god Yahweh. It is also one of four known contemporary inscriptions containing the name of Israel, the others being the Merneptah Stele, the Tel Dan Stele, and one of the Kurkh Monoliths. Its authenticity has been disputed over the years, and some biblical minimalists suggest the text was not historical, but a biblical allegory. Have you come here to torment us before the time?” 30 Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them. 31 And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.” 32 And he said to them, “Go.” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters. 33 The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, especially what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.
