C'EST MARIANE QUI FAIT L'INTRO! Comme vous étiez contents de revoir Mariane Desbiens la semaine dernière, on lui a demandé de faire l'intro de cette semaine ET ELLE A ACCEPTÉ! En début d'épisode on vous explique comment on se parle à l'extérieur de l'émission, on essaie de comprendre Bad Nick et ça dévie sur Superman, on explique ce qu'est le Bobby Bonilla day, on remercie Les Gamins Sauvages comme il se doit. Du côté des chroniques, Mathieu Niquette fait le récit ragoûtant du Poop Cruise From Hell, une tragédie maritime qui saura vous ouvrir l'appétit! Julien Bernatchez est encore fatigué et à la recherche d'une manière d'économiser sa précieuse et rare énergie, c'est pourquoi il a créé une nouvelle invention, Cyber-Julien, un robot qui a toutes les connaissances de son téléphone, mais il développe une attirance sexuelle envers Etienne Forest et on ne peut plus en tirer grand chose après ça. Parlant d'Etienne - notre beau Sliver Fox à nous - il poursuit la lecture de ses tribulations avec le logiciel Character.ai et cette fois il nous présente les personnage de Nic et Niquette, qui sont BEAUCOUP plus divertissants et imprévisibles que les originaux! On arrive à la conclusion que, depuis le début de l'exercice, c'est le personnage de Maxime qui s'en tire le mieux! On reçoit ensuite un appel de Pascalin DS qui nous parle du remake de Crash Bandicoot 3 et c'est TRÈS intéressant! Et on gagne encore un peu notre Paradis en endurant ensemble la chronique de Nicolas Fournier-Larocque qui propose une espèce de suite à la chronique sur les mythes grecs qu'il avait faite sur le MixBus durant feu Zoofest. After initial training at the BBC in the late 70s He started this journey at Pathway Studios in London and helped build the Garden studio in Shoreditch. In the early 80s he moved to Berlin for 10 years and worked at the legendary Hansa studios.His work goes all the way back to 1980 and includes artists such as Fad Gadget, Depeche Mode, Wire, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Erasure. More recently he’s worked with Stubbleman, The Leisure Society, Spiritual Friendship and Yann Teirsen. Do you want to talk about dedication? Let's take a look at Paul Davis, whose efforts behind the Ardour Project, originally released in 2005, are still going strong. Ardour has become as full-featured as any DAW out there, and - along with its commercial variant Mixbus - is capturing the attention of a lot of new users. But Ardour is more than a DAW - it's a DAW that can operate in Linux. Every week I'm hearing more about Linux-based audio production, and Ardour is one of the programs that's leading the way. Paul has long been dedicated to Linux Audio, and is considered one of its current leaders. In this discussion, Paul describes his decision-making on the way to starting the project, his vision for its future, and his deep passion for open-source development in general. He also talks about his relationship with Harrison (who have created Mixbus, which is based off the Ardour code base), and how they have affected the development process. It was great for me to catch up to Paul again, and to learn more about this amazing tool. Enjoy!
