Life is busy and our souls can get hurried … and so, we need wisdom and godly character to navigate our calendars and conflict. When our souls are hurried, it's difficult to simply be present. A hurried life is anxious about all that may be coming, but the present moment matters most because it's where God is.I can't experience God now in the future… I can't experience Him now in the past...I can only experience Him right now, in this present moment!Ps 118:24: This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.The present moment is always sacred because it's where and when we meet God! But when we become consumed with the DESIRES of this world and the FEARS of the future … our hurried souls often forget God. So, how can we care for our soul by being attentive to this present moment with God? This is what this sermon is about and we begin with an encounter Jesus had with two female disciples recorded in the Gospel of Luke 10:38-42...Dusty FrizzellJanuary 20, 2022http://www.shepherdchurch.comhttp://www.wearesya.com

Everyday we manage our image in an attempt to gain what we all want- authentic relationships and unconditional love. What would you give for a relationship where all pretense is stripped away and you are fully known and fully loved? Is that even possible? What would you do if you found it? It's the idea behind this sermon series and the book of Psalms, your soul can be kept in the hands of a loving God or be kept out of them.
