The Lord encourages us to remember so that we don't forget! We are prone to forget the goodness of God in our lives so we are encouraged to set up stones like the people in Joshua's day as a reminder of the greatness of God.

The question from the Westminster Catechism asks "What is the chief end of man". The answer back is "the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever!" Tom guides us through a series of scriptures that help us to understand the privilege that we have to be able to glorify God and a picture of what that might look like to do in our daily lives.

Tom West saw the reality of God's life-changing salvation in his parents' lives – and he wanted what they had. So one day he knelt down and asked God to save him, and presumed everything was alright. But deep down nothing had changed. Despite later being baptised and even “breaking bread”, Tom says “it was all just an outward show for everyone else to see”. But Tom now has what his parents have. The Philadelphia 76ers vs. James Harden continues! Per reporting from Tom West, the NBA launched an investigation into what led Harden to call Daryl Morey a liar while entertaining a group of fans in China. There has been much speculation as far as what kind of "deal" Harden and Morey made last off-season that would lead Harden to say such things about his BFF. It could also be as simple as Harden being upset that Morey did not trade him to his only choice of destination -- the Los Angeles Clippers. Steve had intended to nitpick John's understanding of Thomas Hobbes, but the Learned Lucretia shows up in force, with marvelous renditions of Locke and Hobbes, casting doubt on Steve's proposition that maybe there exists a "Hobbistotle" to go with Tom West's "Lockistotle." It's not as wonky and esoteric as it sounds!
