Content Warning Our usual conversation at the top of the episode got a bit heavier than usual, and could be upsetting for some listeners. We decided to leave this conversation in because this show has always been at least partly about our lives and the things that happen to us, this week just happened to be a particularly difficult one. Things get back to normal around the 23 minute mark if you want to skip ahead. Thank you for understanding. Show Notes Dan and Kris bring you the latest installment in the Alphabet Soup-er Series! Each month, they choose a video game that begins with a different letter of the alphabet, and play them for discussion on the show. This month's letter was F, and Dan chose the sci-fi classic Flashback: The Quest for Identity. Which versions did they play? Do the famous rotoscoped visuals hold up? Is the game any good? Let's find out! Plus, the guys had very little time to actually play too many games this week, but Kris put some time into the HD Retrovision cables now available at Stone Age Gamer, and the new We Love Katamari release for Nintendo Switch. There's also a surprising amount of talk about SAG's new blog software. I start off with some quick impressions of We Love Katamari REROLL, but then go into the Final Fantasy XVI demo. Note that there are some themes regarding some of the characters that some people may not like to witness, which has turned some corners of the internet off from the game. Microsoft has announced they will no longer be making first party games for the Xbox One, but some developers want them to also get rid of the Xbox Series S requirement as well. Embracer Group is downsizing after a large deal fell through - after acquiring many companies, they will now shutter many of them and cancel unannounced projects. Then we talk to Rob about Final Fantasy XVI.

After pushing Joker into the final escape pod, Shepard is blasted into space and dies via asphyxiation after a suit breach. His/her body is pulled into the orbit of a nearby planet and recovered by Cerberus, who begin the "Lazarus Project" with the sole purpose of bringing Shepard back to life. After two years, Shepard is revived on an operating table and escapes a research station under attack by its own security mechs alongside Cerberus operatives Jacob Taylor and Miranda Lawson.
