Trying to get to the point where you’re performing at a higher level consistently. The things that are involved are drive and determination and a willingness to work hard. And allowing yourself to be successful and putting in the hard work… It is having a clear plan about how you want to do things, and work hard but understand in time it will pay off.” – Nathan McCullum This podcast explores Nathan’s sheer determination in overturning many obstacles to become one of New Zealand’s best and loved cricketers. Jasveer Singh holds a Master of Technology degree in Computer Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and has studied Executive Master in Management at École de Commerce Solvay, Brussels, Belgium. A significant part of this experience has been in the management of software development (analysis, design, coding, testing), system design, quality assurance/control, and project management while working with different programming languages, object-oriented technology, database management systems, etc. His in-depth experience in these software domains led him to realize the improvements needed in the currently available methodologies for software size measurement and to develop the Functional Software Size Measurement Methodology with Effort Estimation and Performance Indication (FSSM) which is a thorough methodology and great help for software projects. Transferred, once and for all, from natural and social systems into a secure, networked, digital ledger of transactions and computer-executed contracts. During a Security Incident, or in the course of an investigation, it may become necessary to gather evidence for further use in a possible court case in the future. But if you don't have 4-10,000 dollars USD for fancy forensic software, you'll need to find methods to preserve data, create proper integrity, and have a proper custody list to show who handled the data, how it was collected, etc. This podcast was not meant to turn you into an expert, but instead to go over the finer points of the process, and even where you should turn to if you need help. Texas Conflict Coach

American voters have lost confidence in the ability of our political leaders to solve the most serious of problems: a staggering deficit, the need for jobs, a broken tax system. They feel frustrated, worried, angry and ashamed by the way our elected officials act. They blame a lack of respectful dialogue in the political system and politicians' unwillingness to engage across party lines for the Confidence Crisis in which we find ourselves. In 1995, Dr. Carolyn Lukensmeyer, Founder and first President of AmericaSpeaks, created a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. with a mission to reinvigorate American Democracy by engaging citizens in public decision-making and helping provide them with a real voice in our nation's governance. For over 15 years, AmericaSpeaks has convened large-scale initiatives to engage citizens and leaders on some of the most difficult and important policy issues. Their work has demonstrated that average citizens have the ability to understand complex policy issues, make reasonable judgments about how to resolve them and commit to supporting the solution. AmericaSpeaks works not only in the United States, but throughout the world. The international arm of the organization is called Global Voices and it has brought the AmericaSpeaks model to countries around the world.
