In this episode Lorne Brown continues his conversation from the original episode 32 with Jeremy Pulsifer, a practitioner at the Yinova Center, to discuss his techniques involving acupuncture and electrical acupuncture for reproductive health. Jeremy has been practicing acupuncture in the New York area since 2005, and he is passionate about helping people achieve peak fertility and joyful living. He is well-versed in both the metaphysical and biological aspects of reproductive health, and he teaches research, statistics, and Esoteric acupuncture at a college for Chinese medicine. Jeremy offers an online course for acupuncturists approved for CEU/PDA on the topic: "Fertility Electroacupuncture: Mechanisms and Strategies to Improve Egg Quality, Uterine Receptivity and IVF Success" through Healthy Seminars. Lorne and Jeremy discuss traditional East Asian medicine and its effectiveness in treating infertility. They explain that this approach aligns with the phases of the menstrual cycle, and the added benefit from 100 days of preconception care to maximize embryo quality and uterine receptivity. This approach will provide the best chance for a successful outcome. Treatment might involve Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, or other modalities, and practitioners will tailor the approach to the individual by taking into account where they are in their cycle. Overall, this episode provides a deep dive into traditional East Asian medicine and electroacupuncture for reproductive health, as well as how these modalities can help individuals suffering from emotional distress related to conception. Listeners will gain valuable insights into the biophysics of acupuncture and the potential benefits of these alternative therapies. Key Topics ● Acupuncture and electrical acupuncture for reproductive health ● Traditional East Asian medicine and its effectiveness in treating infertility ● Tailoring treatment to the individual's menstrual cycle phase ● Approaches to helping people conceive naturally and through IVF and donor eggs. ● Using electro-acupuncture to help with emotional distress related to conception, anxiety, PTSD, and depression. ● Potential benefits of traditional East Asian medicine and electroacupuncture for reproductive health and emotional well-being. Having recently explored the biomedical aspects of acupuncture on the show, this conversation takes an interesting counterpoint to examine how this modality also walks in the world of energy medicine. In addition to the more physical facets of healing, the power of your body's own intelligence and consciousness plays a very significant role in the process. Dr. Jill Blakeway works with patients to ground in their physical bodies and connect to their energy field as a means to holistic healing. Her insights guide us into an exploration of ways that we can prompt our bodies to self-healing abilities.
