Receiving Power To Obey is a gift from God made possible to every believer in Jesus Christ through the Gospel, and is improved through discipleship, which is an ongoing practice to everyone who is saved. Therefore, being a disciple (learner) requires us to study and apply God's Holy Word to realize and apply the blessing that is revealed in the Bible about each one whom God has foreknown , called, justified and glorified, which is in progress in the lives of the saved pending completion! Therefore, let us study this magnificent fact which I am calling: “Receiving Power To Obey” https://www.facebook.com/teachingbible/videos/5439353686130032 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Comment, Share, and Like it please! This is a throw-back Christmas Message from 2005 A.D. that was preached by Pastor Landis Fisher of Straight Gate Ministries. We are presenting this special message for your salvation, enrichment and security as we are in recovery from the global pandemic, that has tyrannized us for many months. We pray that this hopeful message will refresh you! Psalms 9:8 – 14 (KJV) Psa 9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. Psa 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psa 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Psa 9:11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings. Psa 9:12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble. Psa 9:13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: Psa 9:14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation. Revelation 21:9 – 27 (KJV) Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Habakkuk's Complaint Hab 1:2 O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! Hab 1:3 Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Hab 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. The Lord's Answer Hab 1:5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. Hab 1:6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. Hab 1:7 They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. Hab 1:8 Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat. Hab 1:9 They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. Hab 1:10 And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it. Hab 1:11 Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god. 2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2Co 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Lev 25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. Lev 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. New Testament Scripture Reading: Mark 2:27 – 28 (KJV) Mar 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Mar 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Transforming Power Statements: 1) In the Old covenant law the Sabbath was a major part of the lives of the Covenant people for many reasons, because in the practice of keeping Sabbaths, it was necessary to develop a concentration and dependence on God, Who had promised to provide everything needed to uphold this divine consecration of God's people. 2) There was a time of refreshment for the people of God which was to set them apart from all other people groups (Gentiles) which made them dependant on God in order to function throughout their times in a different manner than everyone else in the world. 3) Jesus reminds the high religious counsels that man was not made for the Sabbath, but that the Sabbath was made for man, as it is clearly revealed in Genesis in the account of Adam, who had done no work when he was created, but rested with God on the seventh day, which was his First Day! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

These events shall surely come to pass just as it has been written, This reality makes it of great importance for all to prioritize our thinking processes and to come to know “The Fruit Of Our Decision” Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 37:23 – 27 (KJV) Psa 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Psa 37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. Psa 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Psa 37:26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Psa 37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. New Testament Scripture Reading: Revelation 22:1 – 7 (KJV) Rev 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. Rev 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Rev 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. Transforming Power Statements: 1) King David had learned from the experiences of his many years of life that having made the choice to serve God, Who had made promises to seat a son from his loins upon the throne forever, was rewarded by God's provisions and blessings, which were not only for David, but also for his children and for all who decide to trust the God of Israel! 2) The first decision that everyone should make in life is to seek that right relationship with God, through Jesus Christ and just like David, to walk in the certainty of being under God's blessing and covered from the curse that is on the earth, which will deliver judgment to all who decide not to accept God's free gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus Christ. 3) Once we have made to decision to walk with Christ, the power of God the Holy Spirit will become a normal daily manifestation in helping us cope with all other pending decisions we have to make, and will yield to each believer the realities of God's promises to dwell with Him and to possess the New Kingdom to come! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

The Word of God has carefully selected accounts of the lives of people, all of whom have lived under a great measure of God's mercies, and are written to teach all people how to live according to God's love and intervention to rescue sinners from His righteous judgment through the deliverer His Son Jesus The Christ! Therefore, by becoming students of the Word of God we can all come to realize that we are incapable of satisfying God on our own power apart from His sacrificial offering of Jesus His Son, and Jesus' victorious resurrection from the dead; then step up to the challenge of “Learning Patience Through Everyday Trials” Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 32:1 – 11 (KJV) Blessed Are the Forgiven Psa 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Psa 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Psa 32:3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. Psa 32:4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. Psa 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. Psa 32:6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. Psa 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psa 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psa 32:9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. Psa 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. Psa 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart. New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 5:1 – 11 (KJV) Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Transforming Power Statements: 1) Realization that every life is filled with trials and that we all have our share of troubles, fears, disappointments, anxieties, pressures, as well as successes, victories, hopes, dreams aspirations, and so on; it is easy to understand that the roller coaster of life, especially without any understan --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

http://teachingbible.org https://www.facebook.com/teachingbible/videos/10225958319803656 Walking by faith is essential for our lives since we have been called to be learners / disciples of Jesus Christ, so that we can do everything in accordance with the truth of the Gospel and according to the commands taught to the Apostles of the early Church. They has a very simple premise that is to remain in place until the end of this Church Age; which is: "Serving Jesus At All Costs" Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 32:1 - 2 (KJV) Psa 32:1 A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Psa 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. New Testament Scripture Reading: Matthew 13:24 - 30 (KJV) Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Transforming Power Statements: 1) David the Psalmist fully understood that nobody anywhere could be saved by their own good works apart from the forgiveness of Almighty God, Who has divided all people into groups, which are the ones who's transgressions are not covered and the one's whose are, because there are none who are righteous on their own! 2) In the parable of the tares and wheat, Jesus teaches that there are only two groups as well; the saved and the lost, and that it is God who really knows who each group is, and that He will separate them all in His righteous judgment; therefore, we are to let them grow together and He will take care of the sorting at the appropriate time. 3) It is at the very height of necessity that we all each live as we are in the course of our discipleship, Serving Jesus At All Costs; in order to be sure that we are in the group that is gathered into the LORD's barn; not the group that shall be destroyed into eternal wrath and judgment! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

    Taking It Personally

http://teachingbible/org https://www.facebook.com/teachingbible/videos/10225901204735815 As we are going through taxing situations pressing our way through one of the most challenging times in the history of the world in many ways, there is a tendency to allow ourselves to become bitter rather than better! We are bombarded with so many cliché type scenarios that many of us are living under significant personal pressures that we many times become easily offended. Let us take a moment to analyze this from the Word of our Father and learn how to be: “Taking It Personally” but for a great reason! Old Testament Scripture Reading: Numbers 23:19 -21 (KJV) Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Num 23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. Num 23:21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. New Testament Scripture Reading: James 1:19 – 24 (NASB) Jas 1:19 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; Jas 1:20 for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Jas 1:21 Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. Jas 1:22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. Jas 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; Jas 1:24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. Transforming Power Statements: 1) As we continue going forward in our world where it seems that there are so many things that are unfair, discouraging, out of our control, totally unpredictable, even extremely tragic, dishonorable, and unfair; let us realize, that God is not a man that He should lie, however, He was so invested in our well-being that He sent Jesus His Son to be the only Mediator between God and man; and that even Balak a non-reasonable evil king, could do nothing to thwart God's purpose for blessing the children of Israel! 2) Even as we go through seemingly unimaginable and traumatic situations it is always easier to see the faults of anyone else than of ourselves, because we stack the deck in our own favor, so as to place blame and fault on anyone or even anything rather than to take things personally, when the Bible is clear that we more readily transfer the fault to others, and not to our own selves! 3) So for this week, let us meditate on self-assessment and prayers to ask God to allow us to take Paul's admonition to examine ourselves to see if we be in the faith, and of James who says, be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger so that we can tweak our sensitivities to the Holy Spirit and invite the leading of God into ourselves so that He will be glorified in us so that we can reach others! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

http://teachingbible.org https://www.facebook.com/teachingbible/videos/10225845399020707 Living in an increasingly more troublous world, we have to develop mechanisms which have been provided to us through our faith in Jesus Christ and learn to listen and heed to the voice of the Holy Spirit, Who alone can equip all who trust in Jesus to not only cope with the roller-coaster of life but also to have a productive attitude in the process as we come to understand: “Life In The Paradox Of Being Saved”! Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 64:6 – 12 (KJV) Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Isa 64:7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Isa 64:9 Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people. Isa 64:10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. Isa 64:11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. Isa 64:12 Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore? New Testament Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 6:1 – 10 (KJV) 2Co 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 2Co 6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 2Co 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 2Co 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 2Co 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 2Co 6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; 2Co 6:9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; 2Co 6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. Transforming Power Statements: 1) Isaiah writes that the predicament of all mankind, even the covenant people of God, was that there is no way that anyone could ever be clean in God's sight without God's grace and blessing, and that God's great love is the only reason that anyone could ever have any hope of being justified in His sight! 2) The story of human life is a severe tragedy in so many ways, yet there is a glorious splendor and majesty that exists alongside all the darkness and tragedies, but there is no profit in anything unless there is a way made by faith in Almighty God, Who sent Jesus Christ His Son to rescue all the children by faith alone from every evil situation. 3) The Apostle Paul illustrates this same idea as he writes the Corinthians showing them many examples of apparent contradictions which are true of all the lost who hear the Gospel of Jesus the Christ and get saved to a fresh new understanding which gives way to an actual spiritual reality that should be shared out to every one! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection Mat 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Mat 16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. http://teachingbible.org https://www.facebook.com/teachingbible/videos/10225777309318507 The Gospel of Jesus Christ is indeed the greatest of all news that the world has ever heard! It is my prayer that you listen carefully today so that you too can be a benefactor of the marvelous grace of Almighty God Who has sent Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son into the world to: “Taste Of Death For A Foretaste Of Glory” Old Testament Scripture Reading: Zephaniah 3:1 – 8 (KJV) Zep 3:1 Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city! Zep 3:2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God. Zep 3:3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow. Zep 3:4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law. Zep 3:5 The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. Zep 3:6 I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant. Zep 3:7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings. Zep 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. New Testament Scripture Reading: Hebrews 2:9 – 18 (KJV) Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Heb 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. Heb 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Transforming Power Statements: 1) The third chapter of Zephaniah the Prophet gives us a glimpse into God's plan concerning Israel, the covenant people, as far as how things will ultimately turn out with respect to: * the fallen world of unbelievers in Jesus Christ, (God's Only-Begotten Son and KING) * Their acceptance of a false christ (anti-christ) rejection of Him (Jesus The True Christ) * God's final judgment of unbelevers and their devil-leader who will have deceived multitudesin response to his unbridled unmitigated autonomy. 2) The writer to the Hebrews explains the very opposite attitude of God however, W --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

It seems like there is no limit to disagreement and that there is an overall trend away from godliness and truth heading into a culture of complete lawlessness. I believe it can be answered by the underlying reason that people in modern cultures even as it has been ever since Adam's choice to sin against God's command, that deep within all people there is a drive that we could call: “Unmitigated Autonomy The Central Drive Of The Fallen Soul” --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Eze 14:2 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Eze 14:3 “Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts and have put right before their faces the stumbling block of their iniquity. Should I be consulted by them at all? Eze 14:4 “Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Any man of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart, puts right before his face the stumbling block of his iniquity, and then comes to the prophet, I the LORD will be brought to give him an answer in the matter in view of the multitude of his idols, Eze 14:5 in order to lay hold of the hearts of the house of Israel who are estranged from Me through all their idols.”‘ Eze 14:6 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Repent and turn away from your idols and turn your faces away from all your abominations. Eze 14:7 “For anyone of the house of Israel or of the immigrants who stay in Israel who separates himself from Me, sets up his idols in his heart, puts right before his face the stumbling block of his iniquity, and then comes to the prophet to inquire of Me for himself, I the LORD will be brought to answer him in My own person. Eze 14:8 “I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from among My people. So you will know that I am the LORD. New Testament Scripture Reading: ( Romans 12:9 – 18 NASB) Rom 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Rom 12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; Rom 12:11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; Rom 12:12 rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, Rom 12:13 contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. Rom 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rom 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Rom 12:16 Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Rom 12:17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. Rom 12:18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Transforming Power Statements: 1) One very important thing often overlooked in the “modern Church”, is the emphasis that the Scriptures places on the relationship between God and “believers” whom He has called in the Old Testament Israel His “Wife” and in the New Testament, the Church “His Bride”; so that we as human beings can easily understand the kind of closeness God desires to have with everyone who believes in Him such as: 1) Isaiah 54:1 – 17; Psalms 2:1 – 12; Ezekiel 16:1 – 63; 2) In Ezekiel 14, some “elders” of Israel approached the Prophet to inquire of God, who were harboring idols of their own sin within their hearts, which God saw right through and instructed the Prophet that He Himself would deal with them with judgment because they had made the evil desire of their own mind into an idol of separation from God which would provoked judgment from God unless they would “repent” in order to avert His wrath which would become well known to everyone like a calling card from the LORD. 3) Paul gives some instructions in Romans 12:9 – 18 explaining / providing a “snap-shot” of what kind of life-style every true believer must attain trough intimate fellowship with our loving Father, Who has paid the LAVISH COST of providing each of us the PERFECT ATONEMENT of the BLOOD of JESUS, HIS Only-Begotten SON, in order to GIVE US Holiness that we could never possess, proving that “True Love Enables True Righteousness”!! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Jer 17:6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. Jer 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jer 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. New Testament Scripture Reading: Jude 1:17 - 25 (KJV) Jud 1:17 But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, Jud 1:18 that they were saying to you, "In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts." Jud 1:19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. Jud 1:20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, Jud 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. Jud 1:22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; Jud 1:23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. Jud 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, Jud 1:25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Transforming Power Statements: 1) As stated by God through Jeremiah the prophet, the natural sin of all human beings is an internal reality of the tendency to do the wrong thing because of the deceitfulness of the heart, which tends to be selfish in its choices and prone to violate the simple commands of God, which He has given to illuminate the impact of the fallen nature to reveal to everyone their need for a Savior; Whom He has provided through His Only-Begotten Son Jesus The Christ! 2) As we have come many centuries from the initiation of the "True Church" (that one called by the risen Christ and sent to "all the world") with the simple message of repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ the risen Son of God, Who rose from the dead and ascended to the Right Hand Of God, to make intercession for all who believe in Him; we all need to return to the simplicity of God's message and keep His Word and Gospel as the priority of our purpose making His message clear to all people. 3) The conclusion of all the drama of the failings of every human government shall give way to every prophecy stated by God in His eternal Word, The Bible, and will culminate in the coronation of The wedding of Jesus The Christ and His Bride (the Church) who shall consist of the believers in His Word, The Practical Simplicity Of The Bible Which Is The Word Of God! Special Message Scripture References: Revelation 11:15 - 18 / 19:6 - 10 (KJV) Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. It is indeed God Who is “Defining The Characteristics Of The Elect!” Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 25:7 – 9 (KJV) Isa 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. New Testament Scripture Reading: 2Timothy 2:7 – 10 (KJV) 2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 2Ti 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: 2Ti 2:9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 2Ti 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Transforming Power Statements: 1) As it is revealed in Isaiah and many other passages in the Bible, there is a “vail” that is comprised of unbelief that can only be removed by true faith in God and His Word! 2) The true Church is a body of believers who are selected by God to rescue others whom He is calling to come to faith in Him and trust in His Only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, Who shall send the Holy Spirit to indwell them and lead them through all the scheduled and random acts of the devil and the other forces of darkness. 3) The Apostle's statement to Timothy reflects the fact that the salvation of God through Jesus Christ is the most important thing above all else and that no matter what the trials, persecutions, disappointments, faulty politics, or anything else were present, he was instructed to do his very best to endure them for the sake of those who were called out, the elect of God! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

This is a Bible Study about the wonderful thing God did before the devil corrupted the creation with the curse of sin. This message highlights how God's Word, The Holy Bible, teaches us deep secret things about how God was ahead of the devil in setting into place a way for His Son JESUS to be delivered as Savior through the normal stream of mankind because of His design of Eve, who is called "The mother of all living"!! Old Testament Scripture Reading: Genesis 2:15 - 25 (KJV) Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. New Testament Scripture Reading: Galatians 4:3 - 7 (KJV) Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Secret Accounting For An Open Reward Even though there were literally thousands of years of prophecies that God had dispensed by word of mouth, through retro-active revelation that was given in Mount Sinai via Moses, followed by a host of other prophets after the Book of the Law, from the period when the Judges ruled through the prophecy of Malachi, There was much misunderstanding about the First Coming of Jesus the Messiah. This confusion was not, however, a surprise to God, Jesus Father. There were some who were faithful with Messianic understanding and anticipation, even though the majority of Israel was not prepared for His arrival. This was mostly caused by Biblical contamination that was propagated by polarized religious factions within the tribes of the children of Israel. There were twelve tribes (originally) who through the years became divided based on differences of Biblical doctrine and interpretation. This division had deep roots that went all the way back to the separation of the tribes of Israel at the conclusion of the united kingdom, at the conclusion of the reign of Solomon, the son of king David. I see this confusion in a similar pattern to how things have been done here in the United States of America in many ways. We as a nation who have been the most blessed nation on the face of the Earth, more than any Gentile nation have followed in the same footsteps of Israel in many many ways! Today I would like to teach about a situation which should help us all to see that God has: "Secret Accounting Of An Open Reward" for all who take up a right understanding of the teachings of the Law and the prophets and the teachings of Jesus. New Testament Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:1 - 4 (KJV) Mat 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Mat 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mat 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Mat 6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 16:1 - 11 (KJV) Psa 16:1 Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. Psa 16:2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; Psa 16:3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. Psa 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. Psa 16:5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. Psa 16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. Psa 16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. Psa 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psa 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psa 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Psa 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. New Testament Scripture Reading: Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. Heb 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: Heb 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Heb 11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Heb 11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. Heb 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. Heb 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Heb 11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Heb 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

For the LORD has created a new thing in the earth-- A woman will encompass a man." Jer 31:23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes, 'The LORD bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!' That is the First Advent Of JESUS the Son of GOD!! Please prepare to listen the next several lessons to learn more about this most wonderful season and things pertaining to the Incarnation of God in the flesh! Merry Christmas! From Pastor and Lady Hope ! Old Testament Scripture Reading: Genesis 3:15 (KJV) Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. New Testament Scripture Reading: Matthew 1:17 - 25 (KJV) Mat 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. The Birth of Jesus Christ Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Mat 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. Mat 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Mat 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Mat 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: Mat 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Rom 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward. Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God. Rom 8:20 For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hope Rom 8:21 that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Rom 8:23 And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Rom 8:24 For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth? Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Rom 8:26 And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered; Rom 8:27 and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Rom 8:28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose. Rom 8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: Rom 8:30 and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

As we approach Thanksgiving Day, 2020AD let us meditate on the greatness of Almighty God and His immeasurable Grace and Love toward us and all mankind. God has given everyone abundant reasons to thank and appreciate Him! As we thank God, let us also thank Him for our families, friends, neighbors, and even our enemies! We too were once enemies of God until He called us out of darkness to send us out to others in the same condition! HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you all! Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 30:4 -8 (KJV) Psa 30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Psa 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psa 30:6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. Psa 30:7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. Psa 30:8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. New Testament Scripture Reading: 2 Thessalonians 2:13 – 15 (KJV) 2Th 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 2Th 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Transforming Power Statements: 1) In this difficult season of life, let us choose the be grateful toward (each other) and God, Who has given Jesus His Son to make everyone who believes in Him clean and free from the penalty of His judgment as the Psalmist David did, and let us realize that even when we are going through a season of darkness, grief, or chastisement, God has promised to see us through it to a brighter day! 2) Our love from one to another, is the greatest testimony of the transforming power of God that He has invested in us by the offering of Jesus His Son to a cruel season of betrayal, mockery, pain of the highest most sadistic variety, shame and humiliation, unimaginable suffering and degradation and even death, to redeem us and reconcile us to God His Holy Father! 3) As Paul admonishes the Thessalonians to be aware that it was God Who called us all to come to understand that our salvation was His idea and His gift, which He initiated in us, and that we therefore, need to be thankful to one another as we go out preaching and sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

People who do not acknowledge Jesus also do not know God, It is the Father's good pleasure that all the fullness should dwell in Him! Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Gal 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. Gal 2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Gal 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Gal 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Gal 3:4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. Gal 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Gal 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? The Birth of Jesus Christ Luk 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. Luk 2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) Luk 2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. Luk 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) Luk 2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. Luk 2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. Luk 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1Jn 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1Jn 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1Jn 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1Jn 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 1Jn 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1Jn 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

God's great love is evident throughout the Word and therefore, we should come to a better understanding about everything and also be able to learn that God's love and grace have been given and available from the garden of Eden up until this very second! http://anchor.fm/landis-fisher Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 66:1 – 2 (KJV) Isa 66:1 Thus says the LORD, “Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? Isa 66:2 “For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being,” declares the LORD. “But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word. New Testament Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:3 – 5 (KJV) 2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; New Testament Scripture Reading Romans 8:18 – 22 (NASB) Rom 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Rom 8:19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. Rom 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope Rom 8:21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. Transforming Power Statements: 1) Regardless of what the world of unbelievers think about the Bible, it is the Word of the Living God and it is the only document on earth that not only tells the story of the creation, but also of its destruction and the creation of a “New Heaven and Earth” wherein righteousness shall dwell continually, and death shall be no more! 2) As we who believe are going through this life, God's personal revelation of His Holy Word continually makes it possible for us to better understand with amazing and increasing clarity exactly what the world is going through and this revelation comforts us and prompts us to look forward to the day when God has promised to make all things new! 3) The Holy Bible teaches us to endure the hardships of this world by being disciples of Jesus Christ through the study of this marvelous Book, the Holy Bible which we have been equipped to receive this “secret information” from so that we can be “Living In The Light Of Future Glory”! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Mat 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The Word of God is the Highest Law in the Universe and therefore. must be held in the highest honor, even above the systems of the world that oppose it. This message is about how we must stay focused on the Word even against the popular systems of our day which are all destined to perish! Mar 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. 'Mat 5:18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Mat 5:19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. Rev 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. This is an additional installment on the same topic of Walking Life In The Spirit Of A Child giving more understanding on this relevant information with additional Scriptural Support from the Following Verses: Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Heb 12:2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Do Not Grow Weary Heb 12:3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. Heb 12:4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Heb 12:5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. Heb 12:6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives." Heb 12:7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? Heb 12:8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Heb 12:9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? Heb 12:10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. Heb 12:11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support

Walking Life Within The Spirit Of A Child

Play Episode Listen Later Sep 13, 2020 58:19

As we learned in the message that we who are saved have been “repossessed” by God, how should we behave as a result? In the world there is much confusion because of the sons of disobedience who seek to do whatever they wish being led by the flesh, the world's philosophies and the devil who is promoting all the anti-christian actions in life. Today let us take this discussion further as we consider as being “the saved” what it really means to be “Walking Life Within The Spirit Of A Child” Old Testament Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 1:4 – 10 (KJV) Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jer 1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. Jer 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Jer 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Jer 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. New Testament Scripture Reading: Matthew 19:13 – 15 (KJV) Mat 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 19:15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence. Transforming Power Statements: 1) Just as we of necessity had to be born as a child to exist, we must be born again of the Spirit of God in order to be “born again” into the actual family of God by faith in the sacrifice of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus! 2) We must realize that when we are born again, that we must learn everything as a child of the Most-High God from His Son Jesus who executed everything His Father desired in order to provide all believers of His Gospel with everything the need to do the things that God has destined you to do. 3) Learning to practice “Walking Life Within The Spirit Of A Child” is the challenge that every saved person should do in order to have the kind of “Child-like” spirit toward the things of God, which was modeled perfectly by Jesus the Only perfectly obedient Child, Who is the “Prince of Peace” Who alone was obedient to God His Father Who also completed every requirement needed for us to be acceptable to His Father, who is OUR FATHER!! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/landis-fisher/support
