    Simon Arizpe is an award-winning pop-up book designer, paper engineer and illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY. He's a graduate of The Pratt Institute, has worked in the field of pop-up book design for over 20 years and was recently an artist-in-residence at Zion National Park.He's designed more than 35 pop-up books to date and works on every aspect of the process, from concept to publication. His book, Stranger Things: The Ultimate Pop-Up Book, is a #1 best seller, and the three dimensional pop-up spreads he created for the Keith Haring Pop-Up Book celebrate the artist's iconic artwork.     Sammie Aplin works in the healthcare field but a few years ago, in her free time, she began to do daily beach clean-ups in her community. She noticed there was a lot of plastic litter on the shore and wanted to do something about it, viewing this waste as a resource. Before long, her creative mind saw a way to give these items a second life in thought-provoking, eye-catching, structured, yet whimsical artworks.Her pieces include colour-themed layouts made up of a wide variety of plastic trash that she's collected over the years.     After collecting thousands of colourful bottle caps over several years, Jeff Meszaros had a brilliant idea - he could create a mosaic using these unconventional art supplies.     Ernesto Lemke uses LEGO® bricks to create portraits using the unique brickpainting technique he developed. Incredibly, he makes these brick paintings without the use of software - he uses only his painter's eye and artistic vision to create his pieces.Ernesto has been featured in several television shows, including LEGO® Masters, where he created an incredible van Gogh portrait that got lots of attention. His works have been featured in several museums in the Netherlands such as the Kunsthal in Rotterdam and Teylers Museum in Haarlem. In the Fries Museum, he even did a live brick painting of Ed Sheeran, based on the work of artist Colin Davidson which was widely shared, including by both Ed and Colin themselves.After 18 years of being an art teacher, he made a big shift and became a full-time artist in 2023.     Tinka Robev and Andrew Azzopardi design and produce contemporary puzzles that feed the soul and challenge the mind.     Kelsey Powless had never touched, let alone operated, a power tool in her life but one day she found herself inspired by artworks that had been made with a scroll saw.     Charlotte Pleasants is bringing Shakespeare's classic works to modern audiences and forging her own creative path as an actor, producer, director and theatre company founder. Not only that, but she has taken on an additional challenge for herself by focusing on presenting English-language theatre productions in a French-speaking city: Paris, France. Born in Australia and raised in New Zealand, she earned a university degree with a double major in theatre and anthropology. After a family trip to Europe she made her way to Paris, settled in, and has been involved in the live theatre scene in the city ever since. Charlotte has served as a producer at Paris Fringe, as the artistic director of the Tapis Théâtre, as well as a producer and performer at Cygnet Theatre. There, she participated in productions of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (2021), Lear (2020), Twelfth Night (2019), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (2018).     Corkie Bolton started making jewellery in high school, then went on to graduate from the Pratt Institute with a degree in metalsmithing. She loved it. But then life happened and she found herself setting jewellery-making to the side. Years later, she had an experience that drew her right back, thanks to a chance encounter with a woman whose grandmother had also been a metalsmith. She was generously offered this kindred spirit's beloved jewellery-making tools and that sparked her passion once again.She started her own jewellery line in 2016, making heirloom quality, handmade products.     Brendan Rawlings spots driftwood and sees the possibility for sculptures. He's able to breathe new life into reclaimed wood too, creating new ways for it to be enjoyed and valued. After a successful career in another field, he discovered his creative passion while making a driftwood sculpture of a shark for his brother-in-law as a gift. During that process he says he finally, in his mid-thirties, realized what he wanted to be when he grew up.He shared a photo of the shark sculpture online and very quickly had requests for commissioned work, and with that his company Zen Wood Design was officially in business. He believes that sustainability should be at the heart of all business practices and protecting our beautiful planet is a responsibility we should all take seriously.
