Today, I'm making a podcast episode to save entrepreneurs time and energy by helping them focus on the tasks that matter. I learned this from an amazing PR strategist, Gloria Chu, who I recently took an online course from. She has a system called $10 tasks, $100 tasks, $1,000 tasks, and so forth, which encourages students to write down the tasks that correspond to these amounts and prioritize them accordingly. My hope is this system will identify the minuscule tasks that don't matter, versus those that have a greater impact and should be focused on.

I started a new podcast in March 2022, out of the desire to give listeners free access to mental health education through curated advice and guest episodes. But, after 3 months, I began to doubt myself. I allowed the doubt to consume my thoughts. I didn't think I was enough…” who am I?” I thought… Every time I listened to Lewis Howes, Mel Robbins, or Rich Roll, I felt a tug in my heart. The tug was the guilt of not doing what I had to do. I was tortured by my own still-small voice: “you know what you need to do. Why aren't you taking action?” So, I decided to take action. Here's what I discussed: * The Solution to Overthinking: Looking for Help* Vulnerability* Asking for Connections* Internet Resources* Effective Time Management* Wasted Time* More time, money, and resources creating solely with the purpose of creating ONE post on each platform* New Post System* Newsletter → Screen Record from Loom → Instagram → YouTube This is a public episode. 3 Things We Talk About In this Episode: 1. Scenius > Genius Show Your Work because you want to be a part of a larger scene, not to showcase "how good you are" 2. Learn to Listen. Teach what You Learn It's a cyclical process AND a win-win situation, i.e. clarity in the process for you, more information to help your audience and friends get better 3. You're ALWAYS going to be an amateur, embrace the process and have fun Make content in nuanced ways (write, take photos, create, draw pictures). Be clear about your process and this will produce dividends in mastery and lifelong learning
Be honest – during the times in your life when you fall, how many times have you gotten back up? After a few losses, how easy is it to say "I can do this!"? And here's the truth: the secret to success is consistency. The reality is that you have become the type of person who's willing to get up one, two, or a hundred times. My guest today has embodied this principle throughout her career and continues to provide joy and love to those around her, whether it is her family, friends, or everyday people. Her name is Juliet Hahn and during the conversation, she's going to explain how to Master Creativity, unlearn Discouragement and Embrace Curiosity. Please help me welcome Juliet Hahn to Brains Create!
