There has been civil unrest, a riot, or a massacre due to police action in every century since at least 1890, and in most, if not all centuries, there have been multiple. This fact has not changed in all this time, but what has changed is that today almost every citizen has a camera on them at all times and can catch the horrible events happening. But what if your phone were much more than a camera? What if it were the bill of rights, a list of the applicable laws, your own personal videographer or reporter, and live action attorney ensuring that no traffic stop or interaction with the police was ever the same? Well, that is exactly what your phone is today, thanks to the Legal Equalizer app. Today we have the Legal Equalizer app founder and CEO, Mbye Nije, in the chair as he breaks down the facts and figures of police brutality and talks in-depth about many of the solutions. This episode is not to be missed. Our guest today, Shanita Hubbard, lays out information about feminism and carefully delivers her message against the backdrop of hip-hop as a lifestyle.
