Sneaky F**kers Theory: How Predatory Men Are Faking ‘Wokeness' To Prey On Women w/ Seth Dillon & Gad Saad – Ask Dr. Drew - Ep 438

“Sneaky f**kers is a zoological term from the 1970s,” Professor Gad Saad explains. “I applied it to explain male social justice warriors.” Dr. Saad's ‘Sneaky F**ckers' theory is based on a zoological mating strategy that found weaker males of certain species would make themselves appear more female in order to avoid challenges from the pack's alpha. The theory proposes that weaker human males are now employing the same tactics through a form of wokefishing – performative feminism, self-hating racism, and the display of public-facing amulets like cloth masks, pronouns in bios, or aposematic hair coloring – even though their ultimate goal is the same (or worse) than the biologically stronger males that they are trying to avoid. Dr. Saad walks through how these mental parasites have led America to the "abyss of infinite insanity" including the corruption of gender identities, basic ideas of law and order, and timeless truths that built the West. There’s a war against truth and if we don’t win it, intellectual freedom will be a casualty. The West’s commitment to freedom, reason, and true liberalism has never been more seriously threatened than it is today by the stifling forces of political correctness. Dr. Gad Saad exposes the bad ideas—what he calls “idea pathogens”—that are killing common sense and rational debate. Incubated in our universities and spread through the tyranny of political correctness, these ideas are endangering our most basic freedoms—including freedom of thought and speech. The danger is grave, but as Dr. Saad shows, politically correct dogma is riddled with logical fallacies. We have powerful weapons to fight back with—if we have the courage to use them. A provocative guide to defending reason and intellectual freedom and a battle cry for the preservation of our fundamental rights, The Parasitic Mind will be the most controversial and talked-about book of the year. Shermer and Saad discuss: which idea pathogens are the most dangerous, the analogy between biological and ideological parasites, the origin of political correctness and how it was corrupted, identity politics and how it perpetrates bigotry, racism, and misogyny, the psychology of victimhood status (why would anyone want to be a victim?), virtue signaling and why it isn’t virtuous, why social justice is injustice, social justice warriors as sneaky fuckers, the corruption of postmodernism, which began as a form of rational skepticism, Islamophobia, diversity, inclusion and equity, safe spaces, microaggressions, trigger warnings, What is liberalism, anyway? the paradox of tolerance, the dual search for freedom and truth, free speech as the foundation of all other rights, Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome, Collective Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, nomological networks of cumulative evidence in the quest for truth, and how big a problem are we really facing? Gad Saad, Ph.D. (Montreal, Canada), host of the popular YouTube show The Saad Truth and blogger for Psychology Today, is a professor of marketing at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. Kathleen uses textile practices, painting, drawing, photography, installation, audio and video. Her work comprises multiple approaches, studio-based, collaborative/participatory and community-based. Active within her Montreal neighbourhood of Pointe-St-Charles, Kathleen has worked with seniors and children in social housing, schools and community agencies. She has also developed creative projects with children, adults and seniors in Toronto, Iceland, Latvia and the Netherlands, oriented to cultivating knowledge and awareness of ‘place’ and building community. At Concordia and with colleagues Steven High and Cynthia Hammond, Kathleen is part of the Right to the City teaching initiative, which encourages students to discover how learning with the city, and across disciplines, can enrich education while giving back to the community at large. In this episode of the Science Salon Podcast, Michael Shermer talks to the renowned evolutionary behavioral scientist and Concordia University professor Dr. Gad Saad. Starting with his escape to Canada from war-torn Lebanon, Dr. Saad recounts how he got interested in the study of human nature in general and consumer behavior in particular through the evolutionary lens, why people make the choices they do in the marketplace, why evolutionary psychology is an equal-opportunity offender to both the political left and right, what’s wrong with the Blank Slate model of human nature, what it means to hypothesize that something evolved “for” an adaptive reason, how evolutionary psychologists test their claims, the consilience of human knowledge, epistemological humility, postmodernism and how it has corrupted the academy, and the vital importance of free speech and free inquiry in science and society. Dr. Gad Saad held the Concordia University Research Chair in Evolutionary Behavioral Sciences and Darwinian Consumption from 2008 to 2018. He is the author of The Consuming Instinct (2011, Prometheus Books) and The Evolutionary Bases of Consumption (2007, Lawrence Erlbaum), editor of Evolutionary Psychology in the Business Sciences (2011, Springer), and is finishing his next book on idea pathogens and how they have spread like a contagion in the academy, now spilling out into government and corporations. He is the host of the popular podcast The Saad Truth, which focuses on science, religion, political correctness, multiculturalism, postmodernism, third-wave feminism, Islam, safe spaces, trigger warnings, and many other topics.
