Noen favoritter var: Daylight computer, computer uten blått lys, Filter Optics, Bio Optimizers, Exhale Coffee, Vagus apparat, PEMF utstyr overalt, kulde bad, Masse infrarøde apparater, Mye collagen pulver. Primeadine og Lesley Kenny, laser apparater, massasje stasjon, beef jerkey, Phat, the future of good fats, mange bok signeringer. Vi testet Brain Tap, Nitric oxide testing, Mange stands med nytt treningsutstyr og duppeditter. In Observing the martial art of perpetually giving thanks to the most high for the opportunity of life, Mo has accepted it as his duty to share his natural medicine of surrender and submission to divine will. His work delves deep into psychosomatic physiology & neurology and centralises the spiritual development of men & women to recognise their natural calling to be at one with the creator. In this, the body finds balance and through certain practises can initiate the release of stagnant life force & traumas in the self that limit them from observing the moment, living from a place of authenticity, devoid of fear, anxiety and judgement. His naturopathic practise is unorthodox and is deeply dependent on working by with motivated humans who seek to live purposely, not to merely exist unintentionally. This is a podcast based on moving to different countries, trying new things, the challenges of relocating, healthy coffee and healthy living, lots of exercise and sunlight, and more. My conversation is with Alex Higham, the founder of the outstanding Exhale Coffee. This is a journey of relocation and healthy living, and exploration of whether happiness and vitality are location dependent (I don't want them to be as that isn't great podcast advice lol). Make sure you check out Exhale's crowdfunding - I've registered myself and I'm going to own a little slice (very little but hey it's still exciting) of his business. The minimum investment is £22. Here are a few high-level reasons to invest: They've created a new category in coffee with an entirely new value proposition – health. Rapid growth to £1m annualised revenue. Global ambitions – they've sold to 35 countries direct-to-consumer and counting. They've tripled in size in the last year. 75% of revenue is D2C from subscriptions. Strong community of 5,000 coffee subscribers and 61,000 emails. They're B Corp, Soil Association Organic and plastic free. Invest in Exhale Coffee here. THIS SHOW IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY: BiOptimizers — Four out of five Americans are magnesium deficient, and almost everyone is at suboptimal levels. That's a big problem because magnesium is involved in more than 600 biochemical reactions in your body. Now here's what most people DON'T know: taking just any magnesium supplement won't solve your problem because most supplements use the cheapest kinds that your body can't use or absorb. That's why I exclusively recommend Magnesium Breakthrough. It's the only full-spectrum magnesium supplement with seven unique forms of magnesium that your body can actually use and absorb. When you get all seven critical forms of magnesium, pretty much every function in your body gets upgraded. From your brain to your sleep, pain, inflammation and less stress. Loui Blake returns for a deep dive into his recent DMT experience, how he is integrating and pushing beyond his fear since the experience. He has spent the last 10+ years investing his time and energy into various business's, largely in the plant-based hospitality sector and over this time it is clear that his focus hasn't just been on building restaurants but his values as a person. If you're a coffee lover then this episode is for you! Having experienced his own health issues Alex, previously an accountant, had a passion for good coffee, had heard about the health benefits and wanted to find out more about what makes coffee healthy. Not only did he find out but then he and his wife started their own company, Exhale coffee just as lockdown began! Gill wants to know more about: when his passion for coffee started, what EXACTLY is meant by a healthy coffee, how he and his wife not only launched but have grown their company with the help of Instagram, their commitment to sustainability and what have the companies Patagonia and RedBull got to do with their vision for the future! Alex's story is an inspiring one for anyone who is suffering with their health and struggling to find any answers for their symptoms or has a dream they'd long to follow.
This week's episode sees Victoria Fenton reunited with her colleague and friend, Alex Manos as he shares with her (and all of you!) his journey from personal illness, to becoming a Personal Trainer, into a nutrition professional and ultimately Functional Medicine practitioner - and from there into both breathwork and psychedelic facilitation training. Victoria and Alex discuss: Why psychedelics - especially psilocybin - and what Alex's experiences with The Synthesis Institute have provided him The journey towards feeling more emotion with psilocybin experiences The current movement of promotion of psychedelics and how that needs to be balanced with temperance and care, and a focus on community and integration The contrast between the Western medical approach and the indigenous, shamanistic traditions The growth of psychedelic experimentation in the UK and Europe The power of psychedelics for shifting someone into a different way of being - and the destruction and grief that can be part of that process Breathwork - its role, power, potential, and how to do this right (clue: it's not about the big emotional release) Integrating breathwork into psilocybin retreats and Alex's vision for his professional future The limitations of Functional Medicine and dependency on protocols The felt sense of safety and its fundamental role in healing, irrespective of modality Despite being one of the UK's leading Functional Medicine Practitioners (IFMCP) with a focus in gut health and mould Illness, Alex's interests further extend into physical therapy, movement, resiliency, coaching, biohacking, psychedelics, breathwork, masculinity, spirituality, and the assimilation or ancient wisdom concerning health. I LOVE coffee. I love the ritual of my morning cup, I love the smell, the rich aromas, the flavour. I got into the coffee scene during my time in Australia and my obsession has continued. And if you're interested in the benefits of coffee, then this episode is going to be for you!Roasted coffee is a complex mixture of thousands of bioactive compounds, and some of them are recognised to have health-promoting properties. Things like the polyphenols, the products of roasting the beans and even the caffeine itself. A lot of people ascribe these benefits to the antioxidant profile of the chemicals they contain which have also been shown in lab, animal and human studies to be anti-inflammatory. But, the mechanisms that support its potential impact on reducing the risk of a number of conditions may be a lot more complicated. It's fairly well recognised that habitual coffee consumption is associated with a lower risk of diseases, like type 2 diabetes, dementia, chronic liver disease and even certain types of cancer., but there are a number of coffee paradoxes. For example, it is well known to raise blood pressure in the short term, but it's associated with lower rates of cardiovascular disease?I've got Alex Manos and Al Higham from Exhale coffee to talk about everything you've wanted to know about coffee. Exhale Coffee launched in lockdown 2020 and is the first coffee in the UK to be sourced and roasted for your health as well as your performance. It's organic and speciality grade but uniquely, through 9 different independent lab tests, is high in healthy plant phytochemicals, or polyphenols, and some vitamins. We talk about sourcing beans, the effect of stressed crops and how that develops the flavour as well as the health benefits (xenohormesis), the process of extracting the bean, how you roast it for a better taste and health profile. The different brew methods and why that would impact the amount of bioactives in your cup, the process of decaffeination and if you can preserve the health benefits, and we do a nerdy dive into the mechanisms of why coffee may have health benefits.Check out the recipes and app here: https://apple.co/3G0zC0ZJoin the newsletter and 7 day meal plan here: https://thedoctorskitchen.com/newsletter/Check out the socials here: https://www.instagram.com/doctors_kitchen/You can try the coffee for 40% off with the code RUPY at check out : www.exhalecoffee.comDisclaimer: I have a role as advisor for Exhale Coffee that I want to declare and it's because I believe in the founding principles of this family company, the way they go about creating the product has so much attention to detail and I love the flavour! Coffee's brewed. Grab a cup and come join me on three special episodes of TBR brought to you with the support of Exhale Coffee Where I'll be sharing a cup of the good stuff post run with athletes from different spheres of the running community. From chasing vert on Box Hill, tempo in Bushy Park to a shakeout in central London. Each conversation follows on directly from a run over a hot cup of Exhale Coffee. Today's guest is Mark Kerry, he is a trail runner, mountain runner, ultra runner extraordinaire who after discovering running relatively late has gone all in seeing what he is capable of. It's gone pretty well. He has 40 plus FKTs to his name and will be competing competitively at the dragons back in 2021 and is coached by record-breaking ultra-marathoner Damian Hall. Holly Rush is an ex-international road marathon runner turned ultra trail runner. She didn't start running competitively until her late 20's and started out as a fun runner. So in 2010 when she was selected to represented Great Britain at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona (18th and team Bronze) she couldn't believe how far she had come. She went on to come 8th at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 and has represented GB at the World Mountain Championships twice winning team silver and bronze. Holly has over 10 years of personal training under her belt, is a qualified sports therapist, level 2 run coach and has a masters degree in sports coaching. She is also the ASICS UK FrontRunner community manager. She is more likely to be found in the mountains these days.
