This week Pastor Christian wraps up our Family Matters series by talking about one of Venture's core values: Generosity. Generosity isn't about guilt or pressure—it's about hearts transformed by the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught that where we put our treasure, our hearts will follow. In this message we explore how generosity with our time, resources, and lives reveals what we love, reshapes our hearts, and builds God's kingdom for generations to come.
In this episode, we explore why family is at the heart of the Christian faith and how it shapes our lives, communities, and relationship with God. From the very beginning, the Bible highlights the family as God's design for nurturing love, faith, and wisdom. The family is where core values like compassion, forgiveness, and faithfulness are learned and practiced, reflecting the deep love God has for us as His children. In this episode of The Other Six Podcast, we dive into our new series on Family Matters, beginning with Deuteronomy 6 and the Shema. From meaningful conversations with our kids to keeping God's Word at the center of our homes, we explore practical ways to live out faith together. This week Pastor Samuel continues our series with the third installment of, "Family Matters".
This week we finish off our family series with the honest discussion of conflict and biblical resolution.
Pastor Bob's message Family Matters Part 1: God's Blueprint explored how families can thrive by following God's divine design, drawing from Psalm 127's reminder that "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." He emphasized three key principles: aligning our family life with God's blueprint to build strong, resilient households; establishing core values to guide families through life's challenges while raising children who know and love God; and creating homes that serve as nurturing centers of spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth where open communication and support flourish.

Send us a textRyan and Andrea time-travel back to the '90s to revisit the Family Matters two-part Disney World episode—and they've got thoughts. Was it good? Not exactly. Was it magical? Debatable. Did it feature peak MGM Studios and a whole lot of awkward blocking near Cinderella Castle? Absolutely. This episode is part critique, part nostalgic squeal, and 100% brought to you by the ghost of TGIF.Follow us @disneyinsideoutpodcast
