Listeners of How Long Gone that love the show mention: tj and chris, chris black, chris and jason, lyme disease, kings, problematic, high level, album, eps, quarantine, skip, duo, breath of fresh air, okay, 5 stars, banter, self, need, wow, long.
The How Long Gone podcast is a dynamic and entertaining show hosted by Chris and Jason. While I initially didn't expect much from this duo, their witty banter and unapologetic opinions about culture have captured my attention. The dialogue is hilarious and provides the perfect dose of adrenaline to start my day. They cover a wide range of topics including fashion, culture, fitness, 90's punk ethos, drugs, sobriety, and more. Their mix of content is amusing and keeps me engaged throughout each episode.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the enviable rapport between Chris and Jason. Their wit and humor are on point, creating a lively atmosphere that keeps listeners entertained. As someone who was a teen in the 90s, I find their content age-appropriate and relatable. They provide a sense of nostalgia for that era while also incorporating current cultural references.
There is more depth to this podcast than meets the eye. While it may appear to be light-hearted fun on the surface, there are moments where they delve into deeper discussions about various topics. This adds an interesting layer to the show, making it more than just clever banter.
However, like any podcast, there are some downsides to The How Long Gone podcast. Occasionally, I find that they can be disrespectful towards certain guests or lacking knowledge about certain movies or cultural icons. It's important to approach discussions with respect and open-mindedness. Additionally, some episodes may not resonate with everyone when it comes to guest choices or topics discussed.
In conclusion, The How Long Gone podcast is a must-listen for those looking for an amusing mix of humor and cultural commentary. Chris and Jason deliver incredible chemistry, wit, and relatability that make each episode enjoyable. While there are areas where improvement could be made in terms of respectful discussions with guests or expanding their knowledge base on certain subjects, overall it remains an entertaining listen that keeps listeners engaged.
