Real Estate Agent and Team Leader, Entrepreneur, Musician, Devoted Family-Man, and friend Michael Prince joins me to help me celebrate the FIFTIETH Episode of the Podcast When Michael Prince speaks, leads, or sings... his message resonates loud and clear. Michael has recently celebrated 20 years of living in Philadelphia- as he is a South Carolina native. The people in Philly are the lucky ones as we get the privilege of feeding off Michael's incredible energy. As Michael so beautifully puts it, when things go awry... the family just pulls together. I'm honored to be Michael's friend, and I'm equally honored to take part in this awesome conversation. I'm sure you'll enjoy listening this episode as much as we enjoyed creating it. WELL! We've got a lot to catch up on.So for this week's special bumper edition of The Catch Up Call, and our FIFTIETH EPISODE (!), Age & Mitch are holding nothing back. With the world somewhat returning to normal it's suddenly back to the their regular hot girl shit to the tune of blackout dinners, weddings and STD tests. All this before they hit the headlines that have grabbed their attention since the last MOTM bulletin. In the news of today it's all about planting millions of trees and Travis Scott tragedy. The Hollywood report is perpetuation rumours (that may be true-mors) about a potential Harry Potter reunion. Also drama around casting for the film version of Wicked and why does the world suddenly hate James Corden? In gay news our hosts unpack the surprising feud between Harry Styles and Billy Porter and what this means for men in dresses everywhere. Heroic casting and character choices in Marvel's newest blockbuster, and the burning private school blazer that captured the world by storm. The boys also take a minute to welcome our newest soccer star to the family. By sliding into his DMs.As you can see, plenty to get through today. So maybe stop reading and start listening. Fiftieth Episode released on 07/04/2020. Today is Independence day in our country, for a while I've been wanting to have a podcast episode just expressing my feelings on the current state of the country with all the political and social issues we are facing. I wanted to be careful on how I approached this because of my unique situation being a police officer. I shared my thoughts and feelings for you guys on this episode. I am human, I am not perfect and I'm still learning on how to view all of this and properly support. I do know that I am a friend of all people and I really want people in this country to be judged on their character like MLK envisioned. I think we have a long ways to go, but clearly the Black Lives Matter Movement is a step in the right direction. I tried not to make this political, rather just sharing my own perspective in hope I can be a voice. This is a long winded episode 30+ minutes. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way. Today's episode touches on the following: Thoughts, feelings, and my perspective regarding the social inequality, police brutality, and systematic racism we face. #BlackLivesMatter Thank you and I'll catch you later. We're back at long last (blame the 'rona for the wait)! We hopped on Zoom chat for our FIFTIETH EPISODE(!!) and unfortunately had to spend most of our time tackling the elephant in the room -- Creep-o-Palooza, men in the industry using their positions to victimize our women, and what we can do as peers to protect our sisters by holding our brothers and ourselves accountable. With a little input from a few of our listeners in the chatbox, we discuss everything from recognizing what coercion is (since so many men seem not to), advocating for our women, and how to effectively handle a homeboy if you think you may see him leaning toward engaging in some sketchy behavior. But after the heavy stuff, we get into how we've been keeping ourselves entertained and productive during this insanity, establishing new routines, and actually eat our words a little bit from the last episode. Remember way back when we were outside and didn't think this was going to be all that serious? *Sigh* Subscribe to our YouTube channel to watch us in action! For our FIFTIETH EPISODE, we reconvene after a weekend in Chicago to go over our experience together at nights one and two of the latest tour leg. Featuring recorded conversations and interview material from before and after the shows, our favorite moments of the weekend, the songs that shocked us the most (Blow Out!!), and your hosts finally getting to meet in person, this is surely the episode that'll be on our videotape at the pearly gates.
Hi Weirdos! Welcome to our FIFTIETH EPISODE!! Yeah, I know it says 45 but it's wrong OK!? Joining us for this milestone is an old friend of the show GEORGES!! (Episode 8: Creature from the Georges Lagoon) Today is PART ONE of our Obsession Sessions "Urges & Artwork" and we are discussing Obsessive compulsions, stalkers, cults, and serial killers with a very specific fixation. We try to understand the impulses and urges behind serial murders, pedophilia, and stalking while using lesser known murderers, the "Happy Face Killer" and even personal stories. I think it goes without saying, but just in case: WARNING: This episode contains disturbing material. Stay tuned after the episode to hear the promo for the SCI FI DOUBLE FEATURE DRIVE IN podcast and join us next week for PART TWO!
Episode 150: “Holding Back the Years” This week Host Dave Bledsoe invites you to lace up your Chuck Taylors, pull on your Izod shirt, grab you Members Only Jacket and head down to the arcade with him to celebrate One Hundred and Fiftieth Episode and Thee Years of this here low rated podcast! (We don't know who is a bigger glutton for punishment!) On this episode we examine what has transpired in the world since we started this show, and want you to know we take NO responsibility for how badly things turned out. (We did NOT elect Trump, not matter what anyone says!) Then we spend rather a lot of time bashing a certain best selling book that is little more than and litany of cliched pop culture references disguise as a novel. (Sounds like a certain podcast on which we write show notes.) We also sincerely doubt whether the movie about to premier based on this novel will be worth watching. Then we remind EVERYONE that the 80's was only cool and fun if you a white, straight male with access to a fair amount of disposable income. Everyone else kinds thinks they were the worst decade ever. (Which is true.) Our sponsor this week see 1983 return to kill our childhoods again. It’s our FIFTIETH Episode! Kind of. Gosh, we can’t believe we’ve been around for so long. This episode we have some incoming Kpop announcements such as B.A.P, Got7, and possibly that band we can’t remember—but we’re sure, they—whoever they are—will be awesome (and we won’t be able to afford to go). Then we have an awesome time talking about alllll of the things we’re watching, Cherry chides Stephanie for hate-watching again, we discuss the recent crackdown of gay content in China, and what this might mean for some of our ongoing shows. Finally, we wrap it up with some Signal talk at the end, which you are only allowed to listen to if you’ve watched up to episode 12. This is NOT a show you want spoilers on, guys! Holy crap - Fifty shows in and they're still at it?! On this, their FIFTIETH EPISODE, your beloved dorks kick Fantastic Four while it's down, discuss one of their most anicipated trailers of the year, talk about their brief war of words with someone who (for better or worse) helped define comic books in the '90s, and recall some of their favorite moments from the first forty nine epsidoes. As always, be sure to subscribe to us on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn Radio & YouTube while remembering to give us those golden 5-Star ratings & "thumbs ups". Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @thedrunkendork, like us over at Facebook and give us some feedback by emailing us over at drunkendorkpodcast@gmail.com. For our FIFTIETH EPISODE we go back to one of the best Draculas ever, the suave, dangerous Frank Langella in John Badham's 1979 DRACULA.
