「iPhone16発売で警察が厳戒態勢…完全予約制なのに行列「呼吸するように並んでいる」ファン心理」 iPhone16が20日に発売。その現場では、例年の行列とは違う2024年ならではの異変が起きていました。アップルストアの前でカメラがキャッチしたのは、鋭い目つきで警戒する警察官の集団です。さらに道路には、巨大な警察車両まで。厳戒態勢をとる警察。そこにはある理由がありました。20日発売の新型iPhoneは完全予約制。本来であれば並ぶ必要はないはずが、東京・表参道の店頭には行列ができていました。なぜ並ぶのか聞きました。並んだ人:オープニングのイベントに参加したくて。1番に並んだ人:13年くらい並んでいるので、呼吸するように並んでいる。毎年恒例ともいえる店頭の行列。一方で、2024年は店の前に警察が厳戒態勢を敷いていました。その訳は、2023年9月、発売されたばかりのiPhone15を巡り買い占めトラブルが発生。準暴力団の幹部が3日前に逮捕されたばかりで、20日、警察が異例の警戒に当たっていたのです。そして、午前8時に店がオープン。購入者は、新たに搭載されたカメラ専用ボタンをうれしそうに操作していました。購入した人:サクッと起動できていいですね。カメラ使っている感覚。そのiPhone16は、早くもフリマサイトにずらり。すでに200台以上が出品され、中には定価より10万円以上高いものも買われていました。さらにインドでも人気で、店頭に長蛇の列ができていました。20時間以上並ぶ人もいたそうです。ただiPhoneを巡っては、こんなデータも。香港の調査会社によると、8月のiPhoneの販売台数が中国のシャオミに抜かれ、3年ぶりに世界3位に転落。アップルは毎年9月に新型を発売していて、8月は販売が落ち込んだとみられています。今回のiPhone16が販売台数アップの鍵を握ることになるのでしょうか。
