Los nuevos sistemas operativos de Apple destacaron mucho por su nuevo lenguaje de diseño en su momento, pero la verdad es que más allá de eso, tienen muchas cosas interesantes. Acabo la semana haciendo un repaso a las cosas que yo más uso de iOS, iPadOS, macOS y watchOS 26.

He cambiado el Ring Intercom del videoportero de casa por su versión con vídeo. Ha sido instalarlo y funcionar sin problemas a la primera. Ahora cojo encantado las llamadas de los repartidores desde la app de Ring, a los que puedo ver la cara antes de abrirles.

Nos ha surgido la necesidad en casa de comprar un segundo coche pequeño, para movernos por ciudad y, por supuesto, tiene que ser eléctrico. Así que hemos estado de visita por los distintos concesionarios y te cuento nuestras conclusiones.

Mi inicio con Obsidian como plataforma de contenidos y base de datos de conocimiento personal no fue el mejor. Volqué todo lo que tenía en Evernote y seguí a partir de ahí, pero no fue lo correcto. A día de hoy, la mayoría de mis notas siguen sin estar enlazadas y eso no está bien, no existe el orden que debería haber. Meta publicó ayer por fin una actualización de WhatsApp para iOS que trae incorporada su nueva aplicación para Apple Watch. Las primeras impresiones son buenas, funciona rápida y fluida, pero no es independiente del teléfono móvil. Le queda por mejorar en este aspecto.

Al fin he cambiado de gestor de contraseñas. He dejado 1Password atrás después de muchos años de buen servicio y me he pasado a Bitwarden autoalojado con Vaultwarden.
