With the international break now upon us, it's time to shift our focus from Bayern Munich to Germany. Hansi Flick has made a winning start to life as Germany coach, and will want to continue gaining momentum in the buildup to next year's world cup. However, there's a lot of things to do and not much time to do it — he'll have to be quick about his work. This October international break is the last one for a long time.  Here are the talking points before the game: Admitting the shameful fact that I know nothing about Romania.  How Hansi Flick might line up the team — formation, players, and so on.  The Timo Werner issue, and how Flick may be planning to revive him.  The midfield rotation problem — technically not a problem for Germany, but a headache for Bayern fans.  Potential options in defense. Could Niklas Sule be moved to right-back? Or will it be Jonas Hofmann? Who will play left-back for Germany? How about ... Leroy Sane?  As always, we love your feedback and appreciate all the support! It's a Europa League final rematch as Man United take on Villarreal while Juventus, minus Dybala and the ability to keep clean sheets, face Chelsea. Ronald Koeman says Barca can't win titles but do his players agree? Ansu Fati scores on his return to the side to give fans at the Camp Nou hope. It's been a tough week of games following the end of the international break, but Julian Nagelsmann and Bayern Munich have navigated them brilliantly. The Bavarians have scored 14 goals and conceded only once since coming back from international duty, which included games against the likes of RB Leipzig and Barcelona. Now, with a whole week's break to look forward to, we can finally stop and take stock of how far the team has come since Julian Nagelsmann took over.  In this episode, Tom and Ineednoname discuss: Is Leroy Sane fixed? What did Nagelsmann do to him?  How Bayern's wingers are improving under the new coach.  What Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka's contract extensions mean for Bayern (and Germany). Talking about Bayern's revamped defense, including our best backline.  UEFA's new FFP rules, and why they're awful.  Why the 50+1 rule is set to face another challenge.  As always, thanks for your support and let us know what you think! With the international break still chugging along, we don't have that much Bayern Munich content to talk about. But that doesn't mean that our podcast will take a break, because there's always Germany! And plenty of other unrelated topics too ... In this episode, Ineednoname and Samrin discuss: How Germany games are become a lifeline for Timo Werner and Leroy Sane.  Can Werner keep being a key player for Germany? A quick meltdown over Bayern's injuries.  Talking about Mario Mandzukic's career and Bayern legacy.  Bayern alumni Mark van Bommel's Wolfsburg team — including their chances in the Champions League! Germany was thoroughly dominant in its 6-0 victory over Armenia and played a relentless, attacking style to completely overwhelm the visitors.  Former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick has definitely made an incredible impact thus far. More than anything it was absolutely refreshing to see Germany always looking to attack, always making their runs, and just playing an overall crisp style. Here are the hot topics we discuss on the episode:  The starting lineup was in attack mode from the start. When was the last time a German side looked like they want to consistently be the aggressors for the entirety of a match? Serge Gnabry's monster first half.  Hansi Flick is drawing the best from Leroy Sane, Gnabry, and other players. Bayern Munich have finally ended their first run of games with four wins and one draw. With the international break set to start, it's time to look back on some of the key stories from the past week, and what we can look forward to in the coming weeks of football.  In this episode, Tom and Ineednoname discuss: Leroy Sane getting booed by Bayern Munich fans — is it justified?  The insane transfer spending around Europe, and what it means for Bayern's own transfer dealings.  Marcel Sabitzer coming to Bayern after 30 years (actually days) of rumors.  What holes Bayern still need to fill + what needs to be done in the transfer window.  What we want to see from Hansi Flick during this international break.  As always, thanks for your support and let us know what you think! Bayern Munich will face off with Bremer SV in the DFB-Pokal in what should (hopefully) not be much of a battle.  Even without Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka, Lucas Hernandez, and Kingsley Coman, the Bavarians should be able to take care of business in an efficient manner. Whatever the case, this actually could be an important match for a few players looking to showcase themselves. This is what we discuss:  A look at who is in and who is out. An internal debate aired on whether this would be a back-three or back-four set-up. Why this match is important for players like Corentin Tolisso and Leroy Sane. Another week is in the books for Bayern Munich and what a week it was.  It seems as if it is only a matter of time before the team officially extends the contract of Joshua Kimmich, but the club's rumored pursuit of Marcel Sabitzer could have hit a roadblock.  Regardless, here are the topics we have on tap:  The mayhem in the midfield with potential contract extensions for Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, the pursuit of Sabitzer, and possible sale of Corentin Tolisso. The curious case of Leroy Sane and why this year is so important for both the Sane and Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic — despite the former Manchester City man not wanting to be judged by his goals or assists.  The uncertain season ahead of Julian Nagelsmann — especially after declaring his roster was a bit thin.  As always, thank you for the support!
