Bayern Munich just saw the Bundesliga title slip from their grasp at the last possible second against RB Leipzig. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. In this episode Danny breaks down this rollercoaster match from top to bottom. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel for full coverage of the remainder of the football season, all the news, trophy celebrations, and community you can image. Bayern Munich faced off against RB Leipzig with a chance to become champions of the Bundesliga with a win. Instead we got a crazy 3-3 draw with plenty of lows and then highs and then a final second stoppage time goal to halt the already begun celebrations. Danny takes to the mic with emotions running high to break down Vincent Kompany's lineup (yes Harry Kane was suspended), tactics, player performances, and all the match highlights/lowlights. An early defensive miscommunication and collapse from Bayern saw keeper Jonas Urbig far off his line setting up a simple Benjamin Sesko goal which was followed by another Leipzig goal sending them off to a blazing 2-0 start. In the second half Bayern Munich scored two goals in less than a minute to equalize. Eric Dier's header assisted by a Michael Olise corner and then Olise getting a goal himself assisted by Serge Gnabry. Finally, late in the match Leroy Sane scored what was seemingly the Bundesliga dagger in the 83 minute from a Joshua Kimmich assist flick. Players and Vincent Kompany himself were beginning title celebrations after 4 minutes of added stoppage time when Kingsley Coman failed to clear a ball in the box and Yussuf Poulsen chipped an equalizer over Urbig in the 95th minute. A single point in this match was enough to guarantee at best Bayer Leverkusen can equal Bayern Munich in points and the Bavarians hold a 30 goal lead in goal differential. The title is all but theirs but mathematically nothing can be awarded until either Leverkusen loses or draws to SC Freiburg or Bayern Munich beats or draws to Borussia Mönchengladbach next week at the Allianz Arena. Be sure to tune back in for a BIG celebration next weekend. Until then Mia San Mia. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Thanks for listening/watching. On this week's Gegenpressing podcast, Manu and Stefan are back to discuss the biggest talking points from matchday 31 in the Bundesliga. They kick things off with Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Mainz and focus on the remarkable performance of Leroy Sane. Has the German international played his way back into the good books at the Allianz Arena and could now stay at the club next season? They then take a look at Borussia Dortmund's chaotic 3-2 win over Hoffenheim and marvel at Niko Kovac and his team's ability to climb back into the top four against all odds. Then, to round up the show, the duo then turn their attention to Eintracht Frankfurt's emphatic 4-0 win over RB Leipzig and applaud the Eagles for what has been a wonderful season as they all but confirmed Champions League football for next season. Enjoy!
Welcome back to the Always Bayern Chelsea show for an emotionally charged VIDEO episode. Recorded shortly after Bayern Munich's elimination from the Champions League, Danny takes to the mic with his break down and reaction. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to check out all of our video episodes and stay up to date with the latest coverage of everything Bayern Munich and Chelsea football club. This one stings. Bayern Munich traveled to Milan and put up a valiant effort at San Siro, only to come up short with a 2-2 draw. This means that they have been defeated 4-3 on aggregate over two legs to Inter Milan and will not be advancing to the UCL semifinals against Hansi Flick's Barcelona. Their dreams of UCL glory at home in the Allianz Arena for Thomas Muller's final season with the club have been shattered. Danny does a deep dive into the match and tries to figure out where things went wrong. He looks at the events leading up to the match, key injuries, Muller not starting last week, missed chances, foolish concessions, and overall fatigue. He breaks down Vincent Kompany's starting lineup, tactics, all of the match highlights, individual player performances, and hands out match awards. Danny tries to process all of the raw emotions from the match. Harry Kane scored the opening goal of the match assisted by Leon Goretzka and Eric Dier scored Bayern's final goal, assisted by Serge Gnabry. Danny passionately defends Harry Kane from the hate he wrongly receives even after showing up big once again in the UCL knockout match for Bayern Munich. He even talks about expectations and how head coach Vincent Kompany is handling the season so far as a whole. There's still a Bundesliga title to be won and Bayern Munich is already back in action on Saturday against Heidenheim. Stay tuned for full match coverage and more. Billi breaks down a handpicked selection of Matchday 27 Bundesliga matches. Bayern Munich continue to lead the way in the Bundesliga despite picking up just a solitary point from their two matches before the international break. An away draw at Union Berlin followed a shock 3-2 home defeat to Bochum in their most recent fixture at the Allianz Arena and they will now face another side currently in the bottom six in St Pauli.
Bayern Munich took on St. Pauli at the Allianz Arena and looked like a team that was still shaking off the international break.Creative at times, choppy at others, Bayern Munich played down to the level of its competition in the league again at times, but also showed great resilience. On this week's (slightly late) Bundesliga preview show, Stefan and Manu sit down to discuss a number of the biggest stories in German football ahead of the weekend's football. They begin with the biggest story of the week, which happens to be Joshua Kimmich's reported new deal with Bayern Munich. While Stefan struggles to hold back his surprise, Manu explains the twists and turns of the latest saga at the Allianz Arena. They then move on to RB Leipzig's difficult trip to Freiburg and discuss whether Marco Rose will see out the remainder of the season in charge of the Red Bull club. Then, to wrap things up, they turn to Eintracht Frankfurt's Sunday afternoon clash with Union Berlin and take stock of the Eagles and their push for Champions League football next season. Enjoy!

Well, here we are...here the (bleep) we are. Bayern Munich is set to host Bayer Leverkusen in a massively anticipated Champions League showdown. Leg one of this tie is being held at the Allianz Arena and will present the Bavarians with the opportunity to get a jump on the talented and dangerous visitors. The game is the spectacle, but there is a sideshow going on with Bayern Munich's public courtship of Florian Wirtz — which should ramp up the hard feelings and intensity of this contest even more. Let's dive into all of that and more on the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show: Catching up on the Florian Wirtz transfer rumors How each team got to this point and how they fared against each other earlier this season. A look at the injury situations for both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. A guess at Bayern Munich's starting XI — and why it is so unpredictable for this game. A prediction on the match. Bayern Munich came away with a performance that had the Allianz Arena singing against a team that causes them problems regularly, Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bayern performance nonetheless left far more questions than answers; if Vincent Kompany can set his team up to play with such fluency (with Thomas Müller in the side), why does he not do so? Does Harry Kane slow Bayern down? Bayern nonetheless maintained their eight point gap at the top and the Bundesliga title race seems all but mathematically decided. In this podcast, we look at: The lineups of both sides and what they looked like on the pitch. Some mouthwatering combinations across the pitch from Bayern What was Eintracht Frankfurt missing today? The nature of Bayern's goals against Frankfurt Was the introduction of Harry Kane really necessary? Has Bayern already won the Bundesliga? Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome to the 69th episode of the Always Bayern Chelsea show. This one here is another video episode that you can check out on YouTube to see our epic faces. We kick this one off with an introduction give you an update on how we're handling the snowy Wisconsin winter as well as detail how you can get in on our 100 Subscriber giveaway! Subscribing is the first step! Chelsea was in action this weekend in the English Premiere League and turned in an upsetting performance losing 0-3 against Brighton. We kick this one off with a match breakdown including tactics, match highlights, and player performances. We hit on all the key moments in the match but there isn't much to discuss on the Chelsea side in terms of action. Instead, we spend more time talking about what Enzo Maresca needs to do in order to course correct because he was outclassed in this match. We look at Chelsea's squad building, ownership, and certain players as well in order to figure out how they can fix this season before things go completely off the rails. We breakdown if they can finish in top 4/5 and earn a Champions League spot before it's too late. They play Aston Villa next in the EPL. Bayern Munich faced off against the reigning Bundesliga champions and current 2nd place team in the table Bayer Leverkusen. The result was a 0-0 draw. We breakdown Vincent Kompany's lineup, coaching tactics, as well as match highlights, and player performances. For the first time all season we saw Bayern focus almost all of their effort on defending. Unlike usual Bayern Munich did not control possession, registered only two shots and zero shots on target, and it felt like they escaped lucky to draw. Even though Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen dominated Bayern through and through, the Bavarians put up an excellent defense showing. Dayot Upamecano looked like the best player on the pitch, the whole backline was stellar, and Manuel Neuer saved the day with some clutch saves. We discuss what this means for Bayern's season going forward in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League. We will have full coverage of the return leg at the Allianz Arena midweek vs. Celtic in the UCL Round of 16 play-in. AND Bayern faces off against Frankfurt in the Bundesliga next weekend! Julien Laurens, Pol Ballús, Seb Stafford Bloor and James Horncastle join Jimbo for a look ahead to matchday five in the Champions League - and a look back on the return to domestic action across Europe. All eyes on Anfield on Wednesday night as Real Madrid take on old friends Liverpool - having got right back into things in the La Liga title race with their commanding 3-0 win over Leganes which leaves them just four points behind leaders Barcelona with a game in hand. That's after Hansi Flick's side saw a two-goal lead slip away in their draw at Celta Vigo ahead of Tuesday night's meeting with Brest. It's still incredibly tight at the top in Serie A, with Napoli beating Roma 1-0 to spoil Claudio Ranieri's first match back in charge - thanks to a goal from a certain Romelu Lukaku. The less said about Milan 0-0 Juventus the better as Thiago Motta's side continue to uninspire with a trip to Villa Park looming on Wednesday… Bayern Munich and Harry Kane continue to lead the charge in the Bundesliga after their 3-0 win over Augsburg - but do they need a statement win against PSG to show their credentials? Plus, a big win for Dortmund on the pitch against Freiburg - but drama at their AGM off it. And in Ligue 1, PSG warmed up for that trip to the Allianz Arena with a 3-0 win over Toulouse - so can they finally translate their domestic dominance into a much-needed victory in the Champions League? Produced by Lucy Oliva. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Moment of the weekend & standout Champions League ties (00.45) • PART 2: La Liga review - Real close the gap ahead of Anfield visit (08.35) • PART 3: Serie A review - Napoli maintain slender lead as Juventus underwhelm (19.40) • PART 4: Bundesliga review - Kane breaks yet more records as Dortmund drama continues (36.35) • PART 5: Ligue 1 review - PSG gear up for Bayern visit and Marseille go off grid (46.45) Learn more about your ad choices. Meanwhile, Barcelona lost to a brilliant Osasuna side (17:39) and Mallorca climbed to fifth in La Liga.
